Christian leapt nimbly out of the way. There was no way a charge from that distance was going to take him out. He was to the side of both of them now, standing on the lawn, cloaked in shadow. The reflective surfaces of his eyes stood out rather eeriely.
"Honestly, you think that's all it'll take? Be reasonable," he said, still seeming totally unbothered by this situation. Of course that was mainly a front. He didn't particularly like getting threatened with stakes.
"It's very nice of you to try to protect that girl- but if you hadn't come out I would've probably only killed her. Now it'll be both of you.." He said quietly, as if actually still considering whether or not to m*censored*acre them both.

Brian was walking through the night, his hands in his pocket. He wasn't hungry, he had just fed. Right now he just felt like walking. He saw the park in the distance, and a smile crept across his face. What humans would he be able to scare this time? He slowly walked over to the park, not wanting to alert anyone. As soon as he got there he saw a young girl, sleeping. A wave a joy spread through him. What was that feeling? She looked so pretty, and he felt awkward just by looking at her. And he was positive that she was a human girl. But another sense overwhelmed him, the sense to bite her. The scent of blood filled the air, and it was tempting to kill and bite her. But he fought back the urge, and slowly, but not too slowly, got closer to her, wanting to examine her.

Aki woke with a start to find a boy leaning over her. With the speed of a cat, she leapt from the bench, throwing Feyth off ehr lap, and spun to greet the boy. "what are you doing?" She asked, her breath coming ragged. "Why are you here." the cat named Feyth spun around her legs, glaring and baring her fangs at Brian..

Brian nearly fell, startled how quickly Aki woke up. "I-I was just going to the park." He replied, feeling overjoyed that she was actually talking to him. He felt like the luckiest person in the world, if only he could touch her, be with her. "Sorry for scaring you."

She looked around her body, but no stake was clipped to her belt. All she had were her hands, her feet and a sharp clawed cat. She bit her lip and closed her eyes, cringing away from the campire...
