"Fine." Crystal mumbled, looking away again.  She just wanted to die more than anything now.

((-fail- I'm braindead. Dx)) 

Maksis grumbled a few incoherent words as Seth prodded him awake. He opened his eyes, blinking them for a few moments, seeing a few dark spots dance across his vision. He glanced down at Seth's wrist as the sharp smell of disinfectant creeped up his nose. He cringed away, his sense of smell multiplied, but as Taylor walked in with two more cups of coffee, the smell dulled. He began to get a headache as the smell of bleach, disinfectant, and coffee grinds hit him. "Are you guys trying to finish me off with all these smells? Why the bleach and disinfectant?" He asked while Taylor handed him his mug.

Taylor laced her fingers together and her face reddened slightly. Maksis looked down because even the look of the blood rushing to Taylor's face enticed him. "I spilled some of the coffee on the tablecloth." She replied smoothly. Maksis grabbed his mug and took a sip of it. A burst of flavor hit his taste buds and his eyes widened as he downed the drink swiftly. A small bit of strength returned to his body and he sat up, but he was still noticeably weak. "What did you do to this coffee, Seth? This is great." He said, attempting to get the last drop of the dark liquid.

Using both hands, Seth raised her cup to her lips and took a small sip. It was good, but not by any means out of the ordinary. It was obviously the blood. She could already see the difference in Maksis- he seemed more alert, and didn't hunch over. She leaned back on the plush sofa and yawned quietly. It was late, she noticed for the first time that night. Almost morning, really. It made her realize how tired she was.

"Great? Understatement of the century, Maks." She grinned, obviously joking around, if a bit tiredly. "If you really want to know, the secret ingredient is need. Anything tastes good when you're hungry... or thirsty." She blinked, meeting his crimson eyes with her own amber ones, which she was struggling to keep open by this point.
Tilting her mug back, she downed the last of the coffee and set it on the table beside her, feeling the warm liquid course through her veins, calming her with it's subtle warmth. Caffiene had nothing on her at this point.
"Someone slap me." She growled. "I'm falling asleep here."

((Ranni, okay I guess that could happen. :D  But I really want them all to meet up in one place; Crystal, Christian (I just realized both of their named start with the letter 'c' xD), Maksis, Taylor, Seth, and Taelin. :P))

Crystal nodded, but still wasn't happy about having to kill.  But she'd get used to it after a while; she probably wouldn't be able to kill herself with Christian around.  Like he had said before, he'd never let her kill herself.  That confused Crystal a little as of why he wouldn't let her.

"Why won't you let me kill myself?" She asked randomly, wondering why he wouldn't let her.  It would make his life a lot easier, and Crystal wouldn't have to suffer.  Crystal saw no reason why he wouldn't want her to kill herself.

Maksis glanced down at the empty mug yet again before raising it up to his face. Instead of trying to get the last few drops of the coffee, he pushed the mug up to his nose. The strong scent of coffee blew through his nose, but also something sweeter that made his fangs bare and his mouth water. He threw the cup down as he realized what was in it. Taylor caught it nimbly and placed it on the table.

Maksis was sick of himself. He knew his eyes still burned crimson under his pale lids and he was disgusted that he knew it was Seth's blood that had been in that cup. It made sense to his cleared mind now. The disinfectant was to clean Seth's wound and even at the thought of the wound on her arm made his mouth water. Maksis did not know what to say, afraid he would take boiling rage or worse, his need for more blood out on them.

Taylor stood up and ran to the kitchen. She pulled open the refridgerator and dug around a bit, moving containers of food to search for the drink. She found the black can with the vibrant M on the side of it and popped the cap. She walked back into the room, happy to see Maksis in the same position and not chewing on Seth's neck. She held the drink out for Seth. "Energy drink. Here." She said.

Seth looked at the tall can, then took it, smiling. "Better than a slap. Thanks." She ripped the tab off and took a gulp. Her injured hand still lay on her lap. It still felt too tender and weak to do much. Luckily, though, she didn't have much to do with it. The can, though tall, fit in her small hand.

About half done her Monster drink, Seth lowered it from her face looked at Maksis. "I know you're angry, but I won't say I'm sorry." She said, knowing that he already knew what had been in the cup. She smiled softly in the dim room. "It was worth it." She tilted her head slightly, short wavy hair covering one eye. "Do you guys mind if I crash here tonight? It would take me half an hour to walk home anyway, and it's three in the morning."

Maksis opened one eye and watched Seth carefully. Pitiful that she could not even lift up her other hand. He stood up quickly and gave a hateful glare at the cup. "You can stay, but aren't you afraid I might rip your throat out in your sleep?" He growled before marching up the stairs. A slam was heard upstairs as Maksis shut his door.

Taylor sighed and stood up. "You can crash here. Want the couch or the guest room?" She asked, though she was wary about putting Seth upstairs next to Maksis's room. "I think the couch'll be better. I'll go grab some blankets and a pillow." She said and got up quickly, feeling that she needed something to do.

Taylor walked out of the living room and into the hallway. She opened the hallway closet and pulled out clean sheets and a soft, baby blue blanket. She also grabbed a white pillowcase and a thick pillow. She had always hated the soft and squishy pillows and instead preferred the stiff ones that would support her neck.

She walked back into the room and dumbed the items on the floor. "You're going to have to stand up for me to get your bed all set," Taylor said. "And don't worry about Maks. You know as well as I do that he'll get over it. Kid never could keep a grudge for long," Taylor said and smiled, though she was just happy that Maksis was back.

Wait, no...... I do have something to post! 8D  Brian and Crystal are currently interacting with someone who's owner still hasn't responded, but Diamond is open! ^o^  I can't believe I almost forgot about her. :P))

"I need to hunt more vampires." Diamond mumbled, her face disappointed that she hasn't hunted many vampires today.  Her hand was still clutching her stake, and in her pocket was a knife, gun with silver bullets in it, and a mini first-aid kit.

She glanced one more time at the house which she didn't know had twp vampires in it, and began to head the other direction.  She pitied those who became a vampire and hated to kill, and for this reason would pity Crystal if she had ventured into that house and got to know her.

Christian relied slowly, being very careful about his word choice. He had to show that he cared somewhat- but that all of it was absolutely justified.
"You're.. a vampire now. You're one of us.. If you made another human want to kill herself, would you let her?"
He'd been the one to cause her to be suicidal. He could easily p*censored* it off as just being a decent person. Nothing personal- he just didn't need her killing herself because.. it'd totally be his fault. He could at least imply that he'd feel guilty about that.
"It'd be a waste.. I'm keeping you alive."
