She has lightly tanned broad shoulders and a plainly visible tan line. Her hair is always falling in the right side of her face, which annoys her constantly. She will sometimes use her irritating locks to conceal her gray eyes when she feels insecure. The color of her hair is a suble light brown that, when in the sun, has golden tips and develops a red tint. Her eyes are almond-shaped and instead of her gray eyes being cold, they are filled with warm though she does have trust issues.

She is quick on her feet and tends to act without thinking. She usually has her brother around to ground her, but she is having trust issues when it comes to him. She knows he is a vampire and does everything she can to protect him from being discovered, but he has been feeling bloodlust lately and Taylor doesn't know who to trust with his secret. She can be cold and mean at times, but when she warms up to someone, she will entrust her heart to them. This causes major drawbacks and hurt which cause her to be mistrustful again.
History:
Her father was attacked by a band of rouge vampires and was sucked bone-dry. She always hated vampires from that day on, but when her brother became a vampire, she swore to herself that she would never abandom him. Maksis had always been there for her and even through his bloodlust and his vampiric change, he still cares about her more than ever.

Maksis is basically the guy version of Taylor. They have the same exact shade of hair, but Maksis never gets red tints in his. He is also broad shouldered, but has a deeper tan and slightly more toned muscles. His legs are strong from days spent jogging around his neighborhood or at the gym and the new vampirism has given him strength. His eyes were a striking emerald green, but they have begun to take a slighty reddish tint. Already, a circle around his irises is red.

Maksis could never bear to see an animal, let alone a person get hurt. He always felt compelled to heal them in some way, shape, or form. To ham another being goes against his very beliefs and he has been fighting his bloodlust for the past couple of weeks, but he has been getting weaker.He tends to snap at Taylor, taking his anger out on her. He then apologizes later, not wanting to hurt her more. Maksis would never hurt a soul, but he is ready to accept changes in who he is and isn't afraid to step up to new challenges.

His partner never finished drinking his blood in that alleyway behind the coffee shop all those weeks back. The vampire had to run with the sound of people approaching. It left the venom to spread and Maksis helpless on the ground. He turned over the next couple of days, plenty aware of what was happening.

He is Taylor's twin brother.

Personality: Calm, cool, and level-headed. He's aloof and disinterested in other people. He seems always to be content, though, as if he never lets anything get to him. Of course this isn't true, and although he has a slow fuse, when he does get frustrated he'll lash out at whoever bothers him. He doesn't seem to view humans as anything terribly interesting, more as food than as real beings to interact with most of the time, but sometimes he'll play around with them.
History: He doesn't really talk about it. At all. It's no one else's business and he's perfectly content to tell them that.
