Maksis tightened his grip on Diamond's wrist, hoping it hurt. He stood up and grabbed her other wrist in his hands, imobilizing her. He opened his mouth wide, letting her watch as his razor-sharp fangs protruded from his jawline. His eyes were engulfed in crimson fire as he lowered his head to her neck. He cut through the skin easily with his fangs and let a thin line of blood drip from the wound. "You've taken enough blood today. Now you must give some back," He murmured in her ear and placed his lips on the wound.

An electric shock seemed to go through him and he pushed Diamond into a wall, pulling her toward him. He drank slowly, wanting to drag out this pain. He wanted her to hear the sound of her blood being taken from her. When he had taken his fill, he forced himself to stop, reluctant, though he had no intention of killing her. He took his fangs out from her neck for a moment before placing them back in, letting his venom seep into her veins. "Now you can truly be the monster you were born to be," He said with a malicious smile.

With a sigh, he wiped the blood off of his cheek before turning to face Taylor and Seth. The blood spilling on the floor caused his throat to burn, but now that he had fed, it was merely a dull pain. It hurt, but it was nothing like the raging fire that had been boiling through him like before. He licked his fangs, a puzzling thought entering his mind. Seth's blood had tasted sweeter than the vampire hunter's blood. He pushed the troubling thought away and kneeled down beside Seth.

"I'm sorry," He whispered, peeling the T-shirt off of her wound. As he saw the wound, he instinctively pitched forward, but he managed to stop himself. He growled to himself, trying to clear his mind. He grit his teeth. He could not abandon Seth when she had been there for him. He took another of his T-shirts off the ground and asked Taylor to hand him one of his belts. She looked at him as though she were dazed before grabbing the belt from the bedpost. Maksis wrapped the T-shirt around the wound before tightening the belt around it. "Sorry, this must hurt," He said, not wanting to meet his eyes.

He felt like a monster now that the anger and rage had vanished. He had no right to condemn Crystal to the life of blood he now lived and he hated himself even more for giving into that rage which only a monster could muster.

Crystal watched as Diamond slowly had her blood being sucked from her.  But for some reason she didn't really care.  Although she considered Diamond a friend, she didn't know her too well.  She just knew her, and that was it.  And Diamond didn't care about having to kill Crystal since she was a monster, so Crystal didn't care about Diamond much either.

The blood on the ground was starting to mess with Crystal's head.  She was so thirsty, and in front of her was a bleeding a human, a non-bleeding human, and a puddle of blood.  She was trying with all her might not to attack the humans or end up licking the blood on the ground like crazy.  Now she understood why it was so hard for vampires to keep themselves from attacking; before she had thought they had a choice.  But they didn't.

Diamond felt all sorts of pain.  The pain of losing blood, the pain of the wound on her throat, the pain of the beginning of the transformation from human to vampire, and the pain of knowing that she would soon be the monster she had always hated.  But soon she fell to the ground, unconscious.  Her last thought for now was about how she wished she had left before this could happen.  Curse her merciless self.

Oh hell. That vampire really was friends with the two humans. And they'd hesitated too long, now that he'd fed he'd be stronger. Christian was cautious to try to take him on- caution that would've vanished if he knew how young Maksis was- especially with a starving fledgling to look after. But the smell of blood.. Christian couldn't just leave it.
"Go for the girl who isn't bleeding. I know the bleeding one's hard to ignore. And I'll stop their friend if he tries to intervene," he said softly, glancing down at Crystal. She'd seemed to know 'Diamond', but didn't seem at all bothered by the fact that she'd just been turned. It had to be even more horrible for Diamond, being a vampire hunter who'd gotten bitten.
