Christian was fast approaching the cave Crystal was hiding out in. He paused at a little stretch of road that seemed to have her scent more heavily than other places, indicating she'd stopped there for a little while. And she was moving away from the city's center. Even if she was going fairly far, she wasn't at all hard to track. He realized that the diffuse, pre-dawn light was already starting to make him feel a little worn down and irritable. Direct sunlight would be following along very soon, and he kept checking the skyline to see if the sun had risen yet. Time was running out.

Just as the sunlight started to break over the skyline, Christian darted into the cave. This was not his idea of a decent place to stay the night- and if he'd spent a few more minutes outside trying to find her he would have gotten cooked. He inhaled deeply as he peered into the dark cave. She was here alright..

Rage huffed and watched as Aurora got closer. "What?!" He called, annoyed. He stiffened, ready to run if need be.

((Ash, lol your gut burst? xD  People always tell me that I make their guts burst, probably because i'm good at making people laugh. ^o^

Especially one post I did in Inna's rp.  She like, busted her gut too. xD  And I loved my 'masterpiece post' so much that I even put that post I showed to Inna in my thread called 'Some stupid funny stories. xD'.  It's in the Writing Section if ya'wanna go check it out. ;D))

Crystal smelled Christian in the distance, and groaned.  Whoops, shouldn't have made a noise.  But it didn't matter, he had already known where she was.  If only he hadn't found her.  She should have stayed in the sun instead of running into this small little cave.

To make matters worse, she was starving.  If someone hadn't turned her into a monster, right now she could have been home eating a sandwich.  Or some cookies.  But now those food didn't seem as appealing as they used to be to her.  Her body only craved one thing: blood.

Christian ventured a little deeper into the cave, finally spotting Crystal.
"... What's wrong with you?" He insisted, a scowl settling in on his features. He'd been fairly patient with her. He knew it was incredibly difficult to adjust to this. But at the same time ditching him at a rather crucial point like that and forgoing food and proper shelter just struck him as completely idiotic.

He'd practically had to run the entire way there to catch up with her, and had to do it while fearing the sunrise every single second. He was not in the best of moods. Usually he would make an effort to understand what Crystal was going trough- the reactions of people who were turned were never all that good- but now he was just annoyed.
