Crystal was in her house, for it was nighttime, when vampires came out.  She knew better than to go out at night, especially in a situation like this, rather than staying home.  Vampires could still get into her house, but what are the odds that some vampire would crash through her window and kill her?  And she was a bit scared, unlike how she usually was.  Her pink hair was straight, shining from the light emanating from the lantern she was holding.  She had a scared look on her face, the one you get when someone has just told you a scary story sitting around a campfire.  She was also walking down the stairs, and right not she was more scared than ever, although this wasn't the first night where she had knew of vampires.  Vampire had been around for centuries, so they had been around even before she was born.  Today just felt...... a little different.  Just a few hours ago through her window she watched a vampire bite someone, and saw the whole scene.  And there wasn't just the violence, she could have sworn that vampire tried kissing them.

The male vampire vampire, who had hazel hair with streaks of blonde, was just walking down the street.  Not many cars came around at this time, actually, almost none came around at this time.  Then this human girl, with beautiful long blonde hair that hung down to her waist with light blue eyes came along, and she seemed neither happy nor scared.  She seemed to be more angry, and she angrily walked up to the vampire, screaming something at him.  She punched him in the stomach, Crystal didn't know why, nor did she know why she was angry, and the man just stared at her.  He began talking, and it appeared that he was apologizing, but Crystal wasn't too sure, and then his piercing red eyes glared down at the girl, but there was also a sorry look on his face.  The girl screamed at the top of her lungs, and immediately turned and began to run away, but it was too late.  He lunged at her, his mouth open and his fangs were showing.  There were bloodstains on his teeth, too.  He caught up to the girl, who wasn't much of a fast runner, and grabbed her arm and soon after that the girl lay on the ground, curled up, a terrified look on her face.  He obviously didn't drink all her blood, because she was still moving a little.  Crystal ran to get a camera at that time, oddly wanting to get a picture of that moment, but when she came back they were gone.  Actually, they weren't.  He was holding her, about to kiss the now-vampire girl.  But Crystal, terrified at the scene, ran upstairs.

She had seen vampire attacks many times, so it wasn't the man attacking the girl that scared her.  It was the end, when he was holding her and about to kiss her.  She had heard of vampires killing, stalking, trying to be good, and doing many other things, but never has she heard of a vampire turning someone into a vampire too just to be with them in the way the man was doing, the way people would call it 'romance'.  She knew of vampires turning humans into one of them just so they could be partners, protect one another, and vampires turning their siblings just so they could be together, but once again, never has she seen a vampire turning a human into a vampire so they could have 'romantic' moments.  She shivered at the thought, wondering why she had even bothered to recall that creepy scene.  She should have just stopped watching the minute the man lunged at the girl, so she wouldn't have had to seen the girl curled up, turning into a vampire, and further on the romantic part.  The thought of it was just as painful as seeing it.  Crystal didn't know how she was supposed to go through the night and sleep in this condition.  She was already downstairs by now, and was on her couch, curled up like that girl.  She wondered how that girl was doing now, was she awake already, or maybe still unconscious?  Was the man trying to kiss her again?  She shook the thoughts out of her head, now not too scared.  Actually, close to not being scared.  Seems like she was finally getting over that thought and the creepy scene.  And her face wasn't scared anymore, nor happy, just neutral.  But then another thought crept up into her mind.  A very very creepy one.

What if someone were to do the same thing to her, like what the man did to the girl?  What if she were to go walking outside at night, and get bitten by some male vampire, and without her knowing since she was unconscious, he was kissing her?  Although she tried not to, a scream made it's way out of her mouth, and she hadn't realized her face was pale, for she had been too scared.  As she regained sanity, she got off the couch, a half-terrified look on her face.  She had to grab onto the table to keep herself from falling, she was now losing balance from being so scared.  More than anything now, she wished she hadn't seen that creepy scene.  If only such things weren't to happen, she wouldn't be feeling so bad.  Her hair, somehow through all of this it still remained straight, and her clothes weren't torn or anything.  Not to mention she was wearing a dress, a beautiful red one.  The color of blood.  But somehow she felt comfortable when wearing it, and she wore it often.  This seems sorta crazy, but she doesn't really care.  She hadn't realized that she was walking in circles around the table.  She shook her head, snapping herself out of whatever she was in.  She began to walk upstairs again, right now she should be sleeping.  Good luck to those wonderful vampires, lets hope they kill more people, was the sarcastic thought that popped up in her head randomly.  Well, they were a bit lucky.  They got to enjoy the beautiful moonlight, that gave everything a lighter shade when it shone on them.

Soon she was in the hallway upstairs, and she opened the door.  She screamed, although nothing was in her room but her.  All those scary thoughts were probably messing with her head.  She stared at her bed for a while, wondering whether or not to sleep yet.  She didn't really want to sleep yet, it wasn't like she could just fall asleep with all those scary thoughts bouncing in her head.  And she didn't have to worry about waking her parents up, she doesn't live with them.  She's 18, adult, the reason why she was able to move away.  Not that she doesn't love them, she just wants to have a house of her own.  One where she could think about things, and make as much noise as she wanted without her parents waking up, not knowing what happened.  She walked away from her bed, and opened the door.  She was back into the dark hallways, only lit by the small lantern in her hands.  There were switches to turn the lights on, but for some reason she wanted to use a lantern instead right now.  She felt comfortable having a small source of light to take with her, she wouldn't have to worry about being in a dark place without light when holding her lantern.  She began to walk down the stairs again, feeling silly for being so scared and walking around her house, not really doing anything but thinking of scary thoughts and the creepy scene.

"I'm so scared." She whimpered, covering her mouth right after.  Great, now she was talking to herself too.  Thats what you get from not leaving a scary scene when it happens.  She learned a lesson, but she wasn't sure if she would follow it.  It was too fun to see things in her opinion, well, not everything.  Like what she had seen today wasn't too much of a fun scene, more of a nightmare, or something that brought out her living hell.  Sighing, she sat down on her couch again.  She glanced at the window, but quickly glanced down, not wanting to see outside.  What if there was another scary scene out there?

     Isis ran down the stares and down into the basement of her house. She locked the door behind her, grabbed a candle and a match, and lit the candle. She sat the candle on the table and began to pull things out of cabinets and pile them onto the table as she looked for something. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Where is it!" She hissed search urgently through it. She looked up as she heard a loud knocking on the door. "Let me in ,Icy!" A male voice called on the other side of the door and started to pound at it. Isis looked up as she heard the voice. "Crap!" She hissed turning around and accidentally knocked the candle over onto the floor making it go out and turning the room pitch black. She stumbled through the dark and towards an exit that went outside. Isis looked around for a place to hide when she got an idea.

      Isis ran towards the house next to and knocked viciously at the door hoping someone would answer. She looked over her shoulder and looked at the door to her house waiting for the crazy lunatic to crash through that door and kill her. She continued to knock at the door and was about to start pounding and screaming at the person to let her in.

Crystal screamed again, hearing someone knock on her door.  She peered through the window, and saw a girl banging on the door.  Crystal was positive that she was human, so she ran over to the door, her shoes making a 'clack' noise, and she opened the door.  "Are you alright?" She asked, staring at the girl in shock.  Why was she banging on the door so hard?

Crystal immediately realized what the girl meant when she said the 'thing'.  "A vampire, right?" She said, sighing.  "Do you want to know what I saw this night, today's night?" Crystal asked, wanting to tell the story about what she saw to someone.  She was getting really anxious to tell.

 "Yea, a vampire." Isis said. "Wait...What did you see?" She asked curious. She kept looking out the window to see if the vampire was anywhere around. She looked at the girl and looked over her. She hadn't even looked to see if the girl looked like she was sane or if she was also a weirdo, but at the time she was just wanting to get away form the thing that was chasing her.

It was a slow night. Christian had been rather famished starting out, and wasting energy hunting down humans that never left the safety of groups was starting to annoy him. Undoubtedly he could just barge into their midst and kill every single one of them, but he always shied away from causing such scenes unless he was very desperate- and he certainly wasn't that desperate tonight.

However, the pressing boredom and the deserted streets had caused him to naturally start searching a larger area, which had brought him to this residential neighborhood in the first place. Upon hearing a commotion far off- a few screams, slamming doors, and even the faint sounds of feet pounding against the ground- he'd sort of drawn a little nearer. There was a smear of blood out in the street, sign of a struggle, and just ahead of that there was a house with a single glowing light on.

People. But there was at least one other vampire about; he could smell it. He took care to stay out of the faint glow of the streetlights. He considered simply moving on, but curiousity and the lingering scent of blood compelled him to stick around for a little while. He didn't know whether or not to go through all the trouble of a break-in. He was usually disinclined to, but it wasn't as if he'd never done it before.
