Maksis followed Seth down the stairs with Taylor following closely behind. The smell of the air freshener still stung the air and not a trace of blood could be found. Taylor seemed to be smirking at her good work. Maksis walked into the kitchen while Taylor pulled out cups for them. She handed him one and he opened the door. His hand froze on the handle and he stared blankly into the fridge before he turned to glare at Taylor.
"Uh oh." She said, knowing he had found the cup of blood. She gently nudged him away from the door and grabbed the cup. He watched, dumbstruck as she put plastic wrap over it and stuck it in the microwave to warm it. The microwave beeped and she pulled it out. The sick smell reached her nose and she held the cup away from her. Maksis breathed in the intoxicating scent of it as she held it under him.
He pushed the cup away and Taylor grew frustrated. "Maks, we've already gone over this. You're going to die if you don't drink blood. This isn't like taking from a person. It's in a freaking cup." She said and Maksis sighed.
"It's still Seth's blood." He pointed out, knowing the scent. Taylor did not reply, only shot daggers at him. Maksis grabbed the cup out of her hands, careful not to spill any of the dark liquid. "Fine." He muttered and he took a small sip of it. He squeezed his eyes shut painfully as the honey-sweet taste coursed through his mouth. He downed the cup swiftly and set it aside before he could lick the edges.
"Happy?" He asked and Taylor rolled her eyes.
"Well, it's late now. Would you like breakfast, lunch, or dinner?" She asked Seth.
