Dawn looked on as all this happened, jealous when Alpha left her to tend to Callyx, but knowing that he was only trying to help. When he left, she darted after him, running as quickly as she could until she finally caught up to him. "You never answered my question.", she said softly.

Maxx ran from the enclosure, knowing everyone else was gone. He was confused. He still had no idea what the scars were. He ran back to the mating grounds, and kept going. He couldn't face the other wolves right now.

Calyx limped to a stream and soaked her scars."whats the matter Calyx?" starfrost asked. "i miss then..."Calyx answered."oh i see.... you can make a new family here sweet thats why we came here." StarFrost smiled "thats in the past look for the future."

Maxx ran by, and seeing Calyx skidded to a stop. But he was going too fast and bumped into a tree. "Ow!" He said, rubbing his face with his paws.

"well sweet i have to go hunt ill meet up with you later" with that StarFrost sped off deeper in the forest.Calyx looked down and started to draw figures in the sand with her paw or what looks like two pups. she turned away and jumped up a tree.

Maxx looked around. "Calyx? Where'd you go?" He started wandering around, and then drank from the stream. He noticed the drawing of the pups, and realized that Calyx had a whole past that he knew nothing about. He sat down and waited.

Calyx jumped from the tree next to Maxx. she used her paw and swiped the picture in the sand away. "when did you get here?" she asked as she groomed herself. she looked up. and dank from the stream.

"Not long ago..." He pretended not to notice that she had wiped the picture away. "I ran into a tree." He said sheepishly. "Seems to happen a lot." He smiled at her.

Calyx laughed. she smiled at Maxx she playfully pushed him. "ya almost got me killed" she laughed.she then turned away and out of no where she pushed Maxx into the river. she cracked up laughing and fell in to.

Maxx flailed, splashing her with water and soaking her even more. He cracked up at the sight or her with her fur all sticking up, and stopped flailing. "Yeah, sorry. But you just got even with me!" Still laughing, he swam over and poked her.

Calyx limped out of the water and shook it all off. " im not thru with you!" she laughed. she then turned to a bird nest with three small little birds with the mother bird feeding them. she sighed and climbed up a tree.

"Oh, I'm terrified now. What's wrong?" He ungracefully scrambled up her tree, looking like a wet oversized squirrel. ((I might have to leave temporarily, I'll tell the SB when))

Calyx laughed when she saw what Maxx looked like." you look like a mutant squirrel!" she laughed. her expresion changed as she turned away showing her scars.

Laughing, Maxx said, "Yeah, I know." He groomed himself self-conciously for a moment, but then he noticed her mood change. "Calyx, what's wrong?" He asked gently. "If you don't mind me asking."

"no, no its ok..." she sighed. my sister and brother Cinder and StarFrost brought me here to start over..." she began." i once had a family... a mate... and two pups... but there gone now... my mate fought me and took my pups and in return he gave me these" she showed her scars and a tear ran down her face. "now im all alone... trying to start over. and he`s stil out there.... somwhere with my pups."

" i apprecieate it thank you." she said as she leaped down the tree and stalked a rabbit. she jumped for the neck and brought it back to Maxx. "wanna share?" she asked smiling.
