Cinder used his paw to trip Shiara she fell to the ground. he then bit her leg until he heard a " crack " he smirked and made a low growl.

((lol zoz she fell once she was already on the ground?)) Maxx's eyes fluttered. "Calyx? Oh thank goodness..." His heart rate stopped slowing, and grew slightly faster. Shiara surrendered. For now. She limped away, having served the purpose she had meant to serve: a distraction. She limped over to where Midnight was, and collapsed. She would not forget Cinder's cruelty.

"No problem. Anytime," He whispered, "but possibly without the throat ripping next time?" he smiled at her and then drifted to sleep.

suddenly Cinder came up to Calyx right when he grabbed for her she took Maxx by the scruff and ran into the woods. she came up to a small abandoned den and layed him there.

"Well now, I couldn't possibly sleep through that, now could I?" He said, his voice slowly coming back. "Thank you. And I'm glad you stood up for yourself." He closed his eyes, though he was not sleeping.

Calyx smiled and watched as Maxx closed his eyes. not knowing he was asleep she walked to the entrance of the den and spoke to herself. " mabye this is my future.... Maxx.... but things will never go back to the way it was... i miss my pups...but there gone now .. i need to for get them...i can have new pups... I-i can start over... but.. with who"? she turned to maxx . " i like him.. btu dose he like me back? " she asked herself.

Maxx heard her, but knowing that he wasn't meant to, he murmured, as if sleeping, "Calyx..." And resumed his silence.

Maxx really was asleep at this point, but he had a nightmare about blood and throats, and woke up in a panic. He saw Calyx and immediately calmed down. He licked her and said, "I love you."

Maxx got up and stretched as well. The dried blood on his neck cracked, and he winced. "Yes, I did. I'm hungry. Want to hunt?" he asked, licking his neck to clean the wound.

((O.O Cow elk?)) He grinned and pelted after her. Soon the elk came into sight. He raced around one direction, following the general pack rule of herding the prey to get to the weak.

(( yea O.O cow elk- some kind of female elk bull elk- some kind of male elk )) Calyx grinned as she took on the leader of the herd the bull elk. she stayed in the tall gras.s stalking it. she knew it would be hard but the meal would last her for weeks to come.

((Okay. I'll just go with "elk" =D)) Maxx herded the elk around, sending them closer to Calyx. He then sprinted into the middle to splinter the group out. He pounced on a small female, and brought her down. he glanced up to where Calyx was.
