Dawn looked up at Alpha and smiled. "You choose... Me? For your mate?", she asked, incredulous that, in his mind, she had surp*censored*ed even the glamourous angel, "I am... Honored... And in love... "

"Hey", Midnight panted, running up to Shiara who was now injured, "You just kinda ran off on me. What happened to you? You look terrible." He licked her wounds gently.

"So am I." He looked up admiringly into Dawn's eyes.

"Ow! Agh! My side!" He groaned with intense and unending pain. As he turned, a snake slithered past. Alpha was poisoned. A large ghastly and bloody wound laid on his left thigh.

((You just had to do that. XD))

"No!", Dawn screamed, promptly mauling the snake before returning to Alpha's side, looking at the wound, not licking it because if she did, the poison would enter her system as well. "Alpha...", she whimpered, "Is there anything I can do to stop the poison? To save your life?"

((Yes. Once you win Alpha's heart, he has a near-death experience. xD))

"I don't know. Maybe. It can't be that bad."
He limped around, hopelessly.

"Okay, it's pretty bad. But, I doubt it was enough to kill me. I may just be sick for a bit, that's all."

"But what if it is? We have to do something, I can't loose you...", Dawn whimpered franticly, making Alpha lay down. "Walking will make the poison spread more quickly."

An emitting light,coming from Ruka,surrounded the two wolves and they disappeared from view.Ruka was the first of the two to wake up,"Wha....what happened?...Zane!"she barked as she saw Zane on the gra.ss next to her."Zane wake up!"she woofed at him.He woke up and Ruka decided to take a look around."Wow,what is this place?"she woofed.They were in a cave with a pool of crystal clear water on one side which reflected on the to walls of the cave and many vines covering the walls.There were leaves covering the floor and the cave was hidden from sight.So were their scents.That's weird...this place feels familiar...she thinks to herself.

"Where are we?"Zane drowsily woofed as he stood up,dazed."Ruka!"you're alright!"he barked and noticed that whenever he barked,woofed,or howled,the sounds didn't echo."Hey!What is this place?!"he woofed to her.A circle of light enveloped the two,again coming from Ruka,"What's going on?!"I don't understand!"Zane barked as the rest of the scratches and wounds healed."What in great wolf spirits happened?!"he woofed.Zane saw that the scratch he had on his flank disappeared,"Ruka,do you have healing powers?"

"No...at least I never had known"Ruka woofed mesmerized."That bite the dark wolf gave me,it's gone!"she woofed happily."I guess no one will find us here!"she said as she looked around the cave and saw no entrance."I think it's in my powers...My mother once told me these kinds of powers flowed around in our family,and only one chosen wolf would have all of them,but I never would have guessed that wolf was me...."

Calyx ran to Alpha. she looked at the bite. she layed down beside him examining it. " crap...." she murmered. " where is the snake that bit him?! " she snapped. " i need to know what kind of snake bit him. "

Dawn murdered it, but here is it's corpse.
