So... I got this wonderful idea while I was at school. I would like to do a roleplay about high school. Of course, that wouldn't be all. There are two students- a girl, who I will be playing, and a boy- who get into a huge fight during school. The two students are repeat offenders and have been in detention many times. This time, instead of going to detention, they are forced to join the school's dance line.

So, after competing and dancing together, the two students start to fall in love.

Everyone should know my rules by now. The number one is asking to join, and second is being at least semi-literate; I'd prefer it if you were literate, though. So, if you are interested, just post here and we'll work something out. :D

((Cain sounds cool! Skyelar's more like an outcast than anything, and she's probably going to end up hitting Cain a lot before they start liking eachother.)) 

Name: Skyelar "Sky" Thress
Age: She recently turned seventeen.
Gender: Female, obviously.
Looks: Skyelar is taller than most girls, standing at 5'6.5". She has straight dark blonde hair that travels down to her mid-back. She normally wears short, dark denim shorts and a graphic tee shirt. Her feet are normally bare, but if she is required to wear shoes, which she has to wear for school, she wears a pair of black converse or black flip flops. Her hands are small, and her fingernails are always painted jet-black. Sky's skin is lightly tanned, and very slim, meaning that she is also quite flat chested, barely fitting into a b-cup. Her legs are long for her short stature, and she likes to show that off. Her eyes are a light greenish blue with a few flecks of silver/gray in them. She has quite a few piercings; a small diamond dangles from the piercing in her belly button, she has onyx earrings in her ears, followed by a pistol earring that has jewels all over it at the top of her left ear that is pointed towards her head.
Personality: Biting and fearless, Skyelar isn't afraid of anyone- not even the principal. She has somewhat of a loud disposition. She always sticks out in a crowd, and she doesn't care. She is extremely smart, and knows how to turn your own words against you. She has severe anger issues, and gets into physical fights very easily, making many enemies. She only has one friend, and she is the quietest person in the school.
Pets?: A large doberman pinscher named Fenrir.
Other: Her dad, who she lives with, is very hard on her.

((Let's start in the principal's office. I'll start, so.... Here we go!~))

Skyelar looked around at the room before her. She had gotten into yet another fight. Better yet, it had been a fist fight.... With a boy- Cain, the most emotionally stripped guy Sky had ever seen. She had never seen him smile or laugh, even. It was so odd to her. How could someone be so.... emotionless?

Of course, it was ironic that Skyelar thought that Cain was stripped of emotions. The girl herself was a bag full of mixed emotions; hatred, happiness, worry, anxiousness, and more hatred. She couldn't even tell her father about this time. She would get a beating for sure, and it would only add to the scars she sported on her back from her dad's belt. The only person she could spill everything to was her dog, Fenrir.

She looked around and waited for Cain to come. Of course, Skyelar was always early to these meetings because she was personally escorted by her friend, Rachel, who wanted to change her. Skyelar loved Rachel like a sister, but, face it- Skyelar would never change if she kept this up. She put a finger to her jeweled pistol earring on her left ear, letting her finger trace over the raised black and clear, diamond-like jewels.

She shuffled around anxiously in her seat, biting the corner of her lip. What was she going to do? Running away wasn't an option- the school would only hunt her down, along with Rachel, who would probably be so angry that she'd be weilding a flaming pitchfork. That would ruin the only friendship that she had ever had. She immediately scratched that option off of her mental list.

She could beg the principal not to call her father. No. She couldn't do that. She had too much dignity and pride for that.

"Well, that's two. There's only one left," she said to herself, sighing. She had to face what was to come. She had to face another beating, another detention, and another apology to the person she had hit with her fists.

If only she knew that's not what the principal had in mind. Mrs. Jennings, the principal, would do something even worse. She would put Skyelar and Cain on the dance line, and they would have to learn to cooperate with eachother. What a punishment that would be.

Cain wasn't exactly the kind of guy to get into trouble, but he knew a fight when it was coming. He'd seen it in the girl's eyes; dark, dangerous, and unsympathetic. Cain had almost laughed, but he hadn't expected the girl to actually land a hit on him. He didn't even know what he had done, but it must have been something he'd said.

He scratched behind his hair, wincing when his fingers brushed against his cheek, where she'd landed a blow. He'd retaliated after that, after his safety and of course, not wanting to be shown up by a girl. The fight ran through his mind again, but the adrenaline rush had taken control and his actions hadn't really been commited to memory. He yawned and entered the principal's office, spotted Sky, looked away, and sat down.

His mouth was set in a firm line, like it always was. He scratched at the stubble under his chin as he waited for the principal to come out and expel them, or put them both in detention, or whatever it was when you got into trouble. He glanced at Sky with his red-orange eyes for a moment, stony face portraying nothing of what he was feeling; impatient.

Skyelar's eyes turned towards Cain, meeting his reddish orange ones. She clenched her fists. She couldn't remember what the fight was about. At the time, she was too fueled by adrenaline to even try to remember that part of her life. She just remembered that he made her really, really mad. Maybe it was the way that he portrayed no emotion when he spoke, or the fact that he rarely spoke at all.

She turned back around to face the principal, who walked into the door, her high heels making soft thumps on the carpeted floor. Mrs. Jennings sat down in her rolling chair, looking up at the two students- Cain and Sky.

Skyelar rolled her eyes, and Mrs. Jennings turned to look at two files in front of her; one with Cain's name on it and one with Skyelar's name.

"So, I see that both of you are repeat offenders," she said, pushing up her large glasses.

Skyelar rolled her eyes, and sunk down further in her seat.

"And I also see that detentions has seemed to have no effect on your behavior..." She sighed, and shook her head frustratedly. "That's why I'm not going to send you two to detention-"

"Oh thank you, Mrs. Jennings," Skyelar said, letting out a sigh of relief and getting out of her seat, heading towards the door.

"Skyelar!" Mrs. Jennings said, a you-better-sit-down-or-I'll-kill-you tone to her voice.

Skyelar slowly turned around, her blue-green eyes closed and her lips pursed into a straight line. There was a catch. There just had to be, she thought.

"Instead of detention, I have enrolled you two in the dance line."

Skyelar's mouth dropped into an 'o' shape. The dance line had people in it. People that she would have to cooperate with. And it would also have Cain in it.

"What?! That's not fair! You can't-" Skyelar was cut off.

"You have no choice. This is your new form of punishment. You will go to the gym after school- which is in about five minutes, and start practicing."

Skyelar was stunned. Who did that chick think she was. Her fists clenched, bundling up the hem of her too-short shorts. This was a dream. That's it. She would wake up any second now. Ha!

The worst part was that it wasn't a dream. This was Skyelar's worst nightmare brought to life.

Cain stayed his typical nonchalant self as the principal walked into the room and informed the two of them that they were repeated trouble makers. He cracked his knuckles idly and realized then what that probably meant, though he didn't want to make ammends to the rather frail-looking principal. He leaned back in his chair and waited.

When the idea of him forming a dance line came up, his brows arched slightly in surprise before they dipped back down in his typical ex
pression. He placed his elbows on his knees and leaned forward to the principal, totally ignoring Skyelar. "Is this really necessary?" was all he asked.

"If it wasn't necessary, would I say it?" Mrs. Jennings asked back, raising her brows. After a moment of silence, she replied to her own question by saying, "I didn't think so." She got up from her chair, brushing down her business-like solid black dress that made her look ten years younger than she actually was. "You are dismissed," she said, nodding as she left the room through a door that wasn't used by the students.

Skyelar was still in disbelief. "This can't be happening..." She blinked a few times, and looked over at Cain, growling. "I am so going to kill you." Her eye twitched, and she turned around sharply as the bell rang, heading towards the gym.

This fight wasn't over yet, and Skyelar was going to make Cain know the true meaning of pain.

Sky walked into the dance room, slamming the door behind her, bumping into Cain unexpectedly as she entered. She had a natural aptitude for dancing, but she never did it in public. That would draw too much attention to her. She rolled her eyes and walked past Cain, glaring at him out of the corner of her eye as she did so.

She sat her book bag down on the ground in the corner of the room, and she noticed that everyone was staring at her. She quickly blushed, not used to being stared at, and one girl, the head of the dance team, walked up to her, her curly red hair bobbing with every step.

"Hello," the girl said, holding out her hand for Skyelar to shake.

Sky didn't move a muscle.

"I'm Jessica," the girl said, trying to shake off the akwardness that hung in the air. She put her hand behind her back, entertwining it with her other hand.

"Sky." Skyelar kept her answer brief. She was terrified. She hadn't had to actually do anything that involved cooperation before.

"I take it you two are the new recruits that Mrs. Jennings told us about?" Jessica asked, looking back and forth from Sky and Cain.

More like prisoners, Sky thought, nodding at her head in reply to Jessica's question.

"And what's your name?" Jessica asked Cain, smiling. He seemed like he would at least acknowledge her more than Skyelar would.

Jessica nodded and said, "Nice to meet you, Cain." She took in a deep breath. "I was actually just about to start to teach the others the dance that we'll be doing at the state competition next weekend. It's not too difficult, so you should both be able to learn it very quickly." She let out a warm smile at the two of them.

Sky nodded, and looked at her clothes. They would be easy enough to dance in, so she wouldn't have any difficulties with flexibility.

"First off, I need to tell you two where to go..." Jessica tapped her chin, pondering all of the possible places she could put the two of them. She figured she would put them next to eachother.

"You two will be in the back row next to Mark and Dara," she said after a minute. She pointed to a set of twins, who let out a shy wave at Cain and Sky. They both had platinum blonde hair and strikingly beautiful blue eyes. They wore clothes that were similar in fashion, and they looked at eachother often, laughing after a moment of staring. It was almost like they had a telepathic connection or something.

Sky crinkled her nose, and walked over next to Mark, since the way that the people were lined up was in boy-girl order. She crossed her arms once she was in her place, tapping her foot impatiently on the ground.

Cain's white tips in his hair seemed to be highlighted in the lighting of this room. He didn't bother with giving Jessica a thanks or even a goodbye; he just wanted to be left alone. The others watched him; he could see their curious gazes in the mirror. Not hating nor being bothered by their stares, he took his place at the back and crossed his arms over his chest.

Skyelar was obviously not about to cut him slack when it came to being angry at him. So he pointedly ignored her and crossed his arms over his chest as he waited for Jessica to begin whatever it is that they were to do. He glanced down at his baggy jeans and gray zip-up sweater he wore. After a few seconds of contemplating, he shrugged off the jacket and threw it to the back of the room to reveal his tight-fitting black shirt that hugged his toned muscles.

When Cain stripped his jacket off, Skyelar felt her cheeks flush into a dark red color. He made her blush. That never happened. In all of her time at this school, Skyelar had never blushed. It was inane. Why did she blush?

After many questions ran through Sky's head, she sighed and looked away. Jessica started counting to eight over and over again, and she told the people behind her to mirror her moves.

Sky did as she was told, spinning three times with her hands out, and then falling to the ground, perfectly mirroring Jessica's moves. She kicked her legs out, her toes pointing forward. It seemed almost as if when she had stopped taking dancing lessons as a kid, her skills hadn't dissipated.

Jessica stopped dancing, panting with all of the other dancers. She looked at Skyelar, who hadn't even broken a sweat.

Sky had to admit. That was fun. She wanted to do it over and over again, but she had to keep her attention on the dance; unlike now, when her attention was fully on the reflection of Cain's six-pack in the mirror.
