Sorry. I'm pseudo babysitting when I'm making this. I'm surrounded with children. So, here I am, ha, talking to you. Kind of. Not really. If you need help making a bio format just ask me. *The birds have never met eachother. No crushes until you have met every bird in the roleplay.* Name: Taij Age: Young Adult Gender: Female Species: Peregrine Falcon Personality: She is a subtle bird, she doesn't speak until spoken to, but when she warms up she can certainly be a good partner in crime. She hates it when someone insults her or her freinds, and especially when their just plain rude. She likes to be proper, but once in a while you may ask why blood has dried on her beak and claws. Her life goal is to meet her partner for life. May I join? Name: Darious (Dare-E-us) Gender: Male Species: Kite Looks:  Personality: Darious doesn't much like others. He prefers to be alone than with company, and the reason behind this will be explained later. He is very bold, and often times rude. He really doesn't care about what others think about him, nor if he offends anyone. Until it comes to women, of course. Then he tries to hold his tongue, but usually without much success. Darious has his own schedule, as he puts it, and never waits for others. If he wants to do something, he does it, and that's that. RP the rest out~ Crush: Not really that type, but he has the thought of possibly looking for one lingering in the back of his mind. Other: Don't ask him about his history. He will give it to you openly if he wishes, but that's not very likely. He has a strange liking to keep cats as friends, and he loves to sing. He's quite good at it, too. He's an amazing flyer and loves to do tricks for his own amusement. |

can i join too? name: Lexie gender: female Species: fish eagle age: chick Looks: as she is still a chick, her feathers are grey and scruffy, but her adult feathers are staring to come through. personality: can be rude and bossy, and likes to blurt out rude comments about other birds. she is horrible at times, but can be nice when she is in a good mood(not very often). she likes to open her mouth, and dosent think before she speaks. she has no parents as they were caught by hunters and her three brothers were eaten by other fish eagles. Lexie was the only one to survive and she dosent know why. she is looking for a suitable parent to bring her up and teach her to fly until she reaches adulthood. crush: not really, sometimes she cant tell the difference between a cat and a bird. other: none.

(Taij will fix that >:D)(Heres my intro, for when your ready.) Whistling through the trees was a wind. This wind was strong and powerful. Not yet powerful to disturb the birds, though. Especially not Taij. She made graceful loops and circles, riding the wind. The leather braces on her legs had just about finished rotting off, and this overjoyed her. Her speed was almost unnatural. She sang a song quietly to herself to overcome the frightening sound of wind (Red Sun by Jen Wood). When the storm cleared, she found herself bewildered by the strange land. Taij, lost? That couldn't be. But it was. She turned her head around, singing her song louder, to see if anyone recognized her and could guide her home. She heard nothing. She was almost choking on her words as the Moon went down for her well earned rest. The sunset was beautiful. She only needed someone to watch it with. But alas, she was lonely and lost.

(lol yeah heres my intro)
as she was sitting in what she called a nest, Lexie ruffled her scruffy spikes of feathers. a chilling wind cut through her bones and she shivered violently. "ugh." she moaned. "why cant this stupid wind stop? its freezing the crap out of me!" Lexie often liked to talk to herself, and sometimes sounded silly. when she was chewing on a twig off her so-called nest, she heard a loud call of a strange bird. "hey you!" she shouted. "who are you and what you doin' on my land? and why dont you get your tail over here!" she shouted to the newcomer. lexie new she was insulting this bird, so she was quite pleased with herself. she let out her angry screech of a call to tell this bird she really means it. Lexie blinked slowly as she waited for the reply, as a nasty look came across her face.

Taij gawked at the terrible manners of this bird. She shook her head and sat up straight, resting her head back on her shoulders. I am polite. Birds are sophisticated. I am polite. I will not completely rustle my feathers over this. Taij sighed and flew up to the nest. She stared down at the chick, her eyes showing kindness, though they also were meant to give off power and authority. "I am Taij, a Peregrine Falcon. Why must you oh-so-rudely insult me? I have only gotten lost and that is no reason to get worked up." She let her feathers smoothe down. "You have no need to be so rude." She gave the word 'rude' emphasis to make her point. This hatchling needed discipline. "I prefer not to be yelled at. If you dare speak to me in that manner I will treat you in just the same way. You of all birds should follow this rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Now tell me, little bird, how would you like to be treated?" Taij's voice had gotten the most part softer, but it still made the impression that she would not leave this question unanswered.

A cloud of white absorbed Darious as he flew higher into the sky. The chilly wind cut through his feathers more than it would down on the ground, but he didn't mind. He flew as silently as ever through the cloud of vapor, little droplets collecting on his feathers. The red, brown, white and black Kite kept the beating of his winds steady as he rose and rose. As he came out of the cloud, he suddenly folded his wings up and turned his beak back to the ground. As he fell at a rate he didn't bother to guess at, he closed his eyes tight. Five seconds passed. He was through the cloud again. Ten seconds passed. He opened his eyes and could see the ground, make out the figures of two birds in a tree. Fifteen seconds since he had started his dive. He was feet from the tip of the tree that harbored the two birds. He could make out the species of them both; a Peregrine Falcon and an immature Fish Eagle. He was inches away from the tree now, not a moment before impact.
He closed his eyes in the last moment, just as the whistle of the wind in his wings reached his ears. He opened his eyes once more, looking at the blue sky he had just came from. He turned his head for a moment, only to see the tree he had flown over. The screech that came from his tongue was long and beautiful, pure of joy.
He turned back to the earth and glided gently onto a branch near to the one the two other birds were perched on. He laughed a lighthearted, happy laugh. If there was anything that made Darious happy, other than fighting or making rude comments of course, it was flying. He knew the pain of not being free, kept in a cage for years. Never being able to fly. Never being able to be free. But all of that was in the past. Now he was here, not there.

(Lol thats okay.) Taij caught sight of the Kite. Yes, this was a species she knew. She flinched slightly when he had landed. She did a double take at the Fish Eage beside her, squinting at it to show she was disappointed with the chick's mood. She looked back at the kite. "You have superior flying skills." She shrugged her feathers up. "Though I think I can top that speed." She felt the corners of her mouth curve up. Fine. Let them. She made her way through a modge podge of leaves to the end of the insult to all nests. She closed her eyes, spreading her wings. Taking a deep breath, she dove down to the ground. She made a quick turn upward as her chest just gently brushed the ground. She exited through the Kite's hole then entered again through her own. She entered a row of bushes, disappearing from sight. Taij bursted back up to the tree and landed carefully on the branch. "Five seconds flat. I suggest you leave the flying to the girls here." She blasted back up ten yards, spinning in her ascent. The wind battered out a few sputters, but she made them worth it by transforming them into whistles. She flew in a circle, then stopped as she hung in mid-air.

Darious eyes the Falcon. Unlike many other birds he had encountered, this one didn't repel him. As much as most, at least. He let out a small chuckle, spreading his wings and flying into the air. "I've not been challenged in a long, long while. I suppose that's because most other birds as... intelligent as your species has learned their lesson, and decided it was best not to return." He said slowly, careful not to say anything offensive. Like most other times, he preferred not to insult females.
"Are you as intelligent as the rest of your species, or do would you continue this challenge?" He asked, a smile playing on his face.

Taij took that as a minor insult. "Ha! I am not like others in my species. For one, I refer to swallow rats with my beak closed." She did a backflip in the air, staring down at him. "My species is said to be one of the greatest flyers in the world!" She squinted down at the Kite with a sly smile. "If you are as intellegent as the rest of your species, I suggest you back down. I am Taij, and I will not forfeit the game!" She spun around, then swan dived towards the Kite. She just barely missed a fatal blow to his head. She spun around again, making the wind whistle. She lowered herself to the branch opposite the bird. She now looked a bit more serious, facing the kite.

Darious laughed. "You flatter yourself, dear. You obviously don't know who I am, so let's take a spin." He said and turned away from the Falcon, and shot into the air. "Keep up, if you can!" He shouted over his shoulder as he dissolved into the clouds.

Taij kept up easily. "Do not underestimate me, sir. You will not be laughing when you see my tail feathers kicking dust in your eyes!" She smiled, giving herself a power boost and getting infront of the Kite. "Race you to the snake shaped cloud!" She let him think it was straight ahead, then spun 180 degrees and got to the snake cloud in five seconds. She hovered just in that place. "I owe you a fat mole for trying. I wish to know my opponent's name, if you don't mind." (Thats ok, I get that all the time.)

Darious reached the cloud not a moment after the Falcon. "Darious is the name. Call me whatever you'd like, dear. Might I inquire your name?" He asked her. He cocked his head to the side slightly as he hovered in midair, the cold wind still rushing through his feathers.

Darious grinned widely at her comments. "I may refer to you as what ever I please, Ma'am. And yes, yes I do. What is a pretty lady like you doing all the way out here?" He asked Taij. He began to fly around absently, making small loops and circles around Taij.
