Taij zipped down and grabbed Lexie in her claws, bringing her back up to the nest. "You should atleast learn how to fly before trying." Taij thought for a momet, then came up with something. "If you quit all these insults, I could teach you." She doubted that would help anything, but why not?

Taij lifted up and landed between them. She spread her wings out and stood up taller than Darious. "Haha, very funny. If you don't mind, I'll start surgery on your face!" Her feathers were puffed up a little bit on her chest, meant to be a threat. "One more comment from either of you, and I will come at you like a herd of rabid buffalo!" She turned her head to the side and eyed Darious with a menacing look. "Have anything to say, Darious?"

Taij would have drowned the idiot if she didn't have hydrophobia. "I'm not playing with you numb skulls! What, so I have to teach the hatchling how to fly and you how to think? I am not a school with wings!" Taij nudged Darious off of the branch, knowing he would just fly back up. She just lifted off the branch and went off to get anywhere but there.

Taij kept flying, she didn't look at Darious. "A lone falcon like me has responsibilities. My father told me to keep everyone in line before I was taken away. And to keep everyone in line, in their place, I must be harsh sometimes to make sure that happens. I am not a rude bird, unlike some, mind you. I do not try to hurt you. I am trying to help us all before someone is taken like I was. And I think that little Eagle is next." She tucked her wings in and did a frontflip, turning over to turn around. "If you accept my gesture to freedom we can help her." Taij spread out her wings and caught a downfall in the wind, descending down to the tree where the fish eagle was.

Taij slowed to land infront of Lexie. "Some will forget what you say and do, but they won't forget how you make them feel." She lowered her head and used her beak to lift Lexie's head. "I'm not stupid. You whisper rather loudly." She puffed out her chest the same way and turned up her beak in the arrogant way that Lexie did. She altered her voice to match the squealing of Lexie. "Oh you adults are so stupid, I sure am glad I can't fly!" Taij cleared her throat and returned her voice to normal.

Taij scanned Lexie carefully. "Fine... You better be speaking the truth to me though." She stooped closer to Lexie with a scary stare. "If not... You don't even want to know what will happen..."

Taij still glared at Lexie as if saying You better shut up or I'll make sure you won't even see the light of death when I'm done with you. Taij spread her wings and looked over Lexie's shoulder, looking her straight in the eye. "For your information, I am not kidding. For years I've been cracking my wings to keep you little birds out of trouble and away from the humans, and all I get is some sh-" Taij stopped herself and cleared her throat. "Anyway, I only continue doing this is because I know how terrible humans are, and when you even get close to one you will wish you were dead. You just happen to be lucky that I turned up here. And if I were you, I would shut my trap before I got my beak torn off to suffer for life."

Taij took pain from the hit, but she didn't care. She knew the hatchling would fall. "Very well then, you have made your choice. Just wait and see how difficult your life will be without me. Wait. And. See." She raised her wings up high and took off with a powerful burst. Taij had never been in such a mood in all her life- things like teaching and making freinds had come naturally to her in Phoenix, where she had come from.
