Nancy quietly tip toed through the door to school, not bother to watch her path. She took off her coat and rolled it into her locker. While she looked around in such a confused way, she tugged at the sleeve of her kimono style shirt. Observing she others, she had witnessed that even on the first day she was the only cat with white fur. Well, she felt out of place. It was a master mind's challenge to avoid being crushed in such a crowd. By the time she got to the door way, she silently breathed heavily, her jaws open, and her auburn bangs piling over her eye. She patted the door frame above her head. "Sorry... I'm late for... Class. I got stuck in the crowd... Lots of people today, hehe..." Although she thought it was quite loud, many classmates stared at her and turning their ears to her as if asking her to repeat. She growled to herself. "Nevermind..." She filled out a tardy note against the wall and gave it to the teacher, not bothering to fix her fur again.  Nancy turned to the class and saluted to everyone before sitting in her seat and holding her head in her hands and shaking her head. Unlike many, she had no freind beside her, patting her back when she messed up. Her tail hung curled limply around her seat.

Kiba went in the class too. It was tables by 2. "Kiba Johnson You are new so I'll give you your space... Next to Shadow." Said the teacher. and Kiba went and sat next to her. His hair was cut short. his fur was brushed. "Hello Shadow I'm Kiba." He said.

Akio ran in "Sorry Sir."

"It's ok but I've changed the sitting order. Your next to Nancy." Said the teacher.

"Ok sir." He replied and went to sit next to her.

Nira went and sat next to so dog boy. "Shut up and leave me alone dog boy." She said spitefully

Nancy moved one of her hands to hold up her hair to see who sat next to her. Geez, when did the teacher actually start paying attention to her? She quickly opened her book sack and swiped her blue binder onto her desk, which was already stuffed with mathematical papers and questions. If anyone knew Nancy, she was quite a geek. She opened her math section and her pencil scribbled numbers swiftly onto the page. Nancy smirked at Akio. "Assignment's on the board, ask me if you need help?" She spoke in a whisper, barely audible. She finished all the problems and the bonus in one minute. She brushed back her hair again, standing up. Since Homeroom usually doesn't last too long, she just packed up and left. Science class was cancelled for Nancy's class, so she didn't need bother visiting her locker. Students without a class had a free reccess, well deserved. She silently walked into the courtyard to sit under the fig tree, her usual place. She jotted down all the names she remembered. Akio, Shadow (One of her least favorites), Sakura (Another least favorite), and two others she hadn't seen yet. A group of those rich students came up to her, most likely the school bullies. "Hey new girl, get off our tree." Nancy shot a fierce look. "Technically, its not your tree. And since when do talk to me?" They laughed at her, a thing she hated. Nancy got up and puffed out her chest. "Who are you laughing at? Don't get enough comedy films in your personal theater?" A bear in the back cowered, but the one in front leaned down breathing on her. "Shut up and get off the tree, ginger." That was it. Nancy balled up her fist, and swung it to the side of the stupid guy's face, landing hard blow capable of crushing a skull if she weren't going easy on the jerk. "Shut up and get away from me. In the mean while, you can button up your designer dress." They all scampered away while her nose twitched to add a little more spazz. She checked her claws innocently, smiling to herself.

Nancy eventually made her way inside. She stopped for a moment to look at Shadow's sketches. She was uninterested. As the captain of the art club, math club, and chess club, she described it as mediocre... Sloppy, rushed, and poorly designed. She blew out a bit of hot air. Well, Shadow was her least favorite student in town. Plus, she was one of the more primitive breeds, who liked to show off their skills not even bothering to ask what others think. Shadow, Sakura... All those cats pretty much got on her nerves. She kneeled beside Shadow. "You would be better at Raku, Encaustic, Egg Tempra... This just isn't acceptable. Your Contour drawing should be saved for when you plan the mural for the grand opening of the new dumpster. Your Chroma is too bulbous." She didn't want to make Shadow feel bad, but she thought it was best she would know before she burned everyone's eyes.

(Sorry. I've noticed that. I call them character phases. Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood it carries through my characters. Ten year old stuff. You know.)(Really? Do you know why?)

Nancy leaned backward raising her hands innocently. "I'm not trying to. I'm only criticizing is because its a way to help you get better. You learn from your mistakes. I'm not trying to sound like a teacher or anything, but this is the perfect time for revising and editing your work. In the real world you can't take it like this. They don't like it out there, your work is served. They like it, you'll be famous. I can meet you in the art room today at 6th period during Elective, but whether you choose to go is not my decision." She stood up and walked down to English class with some of her Language books.

Sakura , Kiba , Akio and Nira all came back in. They sat in there places.

Nancy hated English class. The teacher wasn't exactly the sweetest. "Now sit down and shut up! I don't have time for this!" Nancy shrunk in her chair and saluted the old grumpy lady. "Yes, sir..."

Nancy turned in her assignment and sat still as a stick to avoid being yelled at.

The elephant stomped down the aisle and grabbed Shadow by the arm. "You, young lady! Your going to the office!" Nancy was in her desk behind the teacher. She smirked, holding her arm close to her shirt. She let a grasshopper crawl from her sleeve onto her hand, then into the teacher's shirt. She snapped her arm back and wiped off the smile. She winked at Shadow. 3...2...1... "Ah!" The teacher ran in circles and screamed, slapping herself.

Nancy smirked from the inside. Shreiking, the elephant dismissed class early. Nancy made her way to the art room.
