  Shadow went back home and put her motorcycle up. She went inside,put the stuff down real quick before locking her door and looking out her window. She felt like she was being followed.

8 walked up to the window, looking it over. He caught Shadow's eyes and waved, tilting his head. He lowered his hand, twisting it 720 degrees into a small claw like what you see in the Claw machine. He opened a small hatch in his chest, pressing a button with his claw hand and pulled out a tiny slip of paper. He closed the hatch and slid it carefully under the window. It said Hello.

  Shadow looked kind of creeped out by him and looked at the paper. She waved a bit and then looked toward the door. "He seems to act like he knows me very well.",she whispered to herself. She waved bye from the other side of the glass and slid the paper back under the window. She got her stuff off of the couch and went to her art room. She started to paint her sculpter and thought  about what that guy outside was doing so close to her house. She shook the thought out of her head and got herself to get mixed up in painting.

8 took the paper back and slid it into the slit he had for a mouth, making a paper shredding noise. He stared at her through the window, making the same noise you get when you blow over the top of a bottle. (You tried that just now, didn't you? Lol...) His hand rotated back to the regular version, slumping down at his side. Despite being thin and tall, 8 actually had to lug around roughly 300 pounds every day. Same weight as my cat. He interlocked his fingers and stretched them outward, making small sparks where they connected to his hands. He did the same paper ritual he did before, then slid it under the window. I'm 8. He then slumped back to his usual place by the door step, and in a matter of seconds his neck slacked and his visor (Or his eyes) went dark. He was pretty much deactivated until Shadow came out.

8's eyes glowed to an impossibly white light, and he lifted his head. His neck made a quiet zipping sound when he turned. Shadow saw the note. Okay. He turned his head 180 degrees to face the street again. A little treant, a lily to be precise, looked at him and yanked herself from her mother's grip. "Mummeh luk! Eth a rubuht!" Her words confused 8. Well, I'm pretty sure it confused most of us. 8 lifted his hand and waved side to side. The little girl giggled and bounced away.

(Yeah... I just noticed that. The robot 8000 lol)

8 made a buzzing sound as he turned his head towards Shadow. He couldn't say, considering he had no mouth. He swiveled his 'ears' around in circles, then he remembered his paper. From his paper container came a buzzing sound, then when it was halfway out of the slit he waited for her to take it. His eyes lit up yellow, the way he did when he had a paper.

8 watched her read the paper. Nothing. He waited, thinking she would reply.

8 lifted his head up then back down in a sort of shrug. He turned back towards the street.

8 lifted his head up and down like a nod, his tail twitching to the side.
