8 saw a robber exiting the apartment next door to Shadow. He lifted up his 'hand' and pointed at the robber. A red laser came from his fingertip, desintegrating the robber to nothing but a truckload of coins and ashes.

8 watched the cops run madly in circles, as if they didn't know 8 was right there.

Personality: Lyra is a bit of a tomboy, (Don't get me wrong, she still likes guys,) she likes to go her own way sometimes, but she is actually pretty smart. She makes a B+ and A- average in school, but once she did get kicked out of fifth grade for breaking the arm of a high school guy. This leads her to another trait, she is a brave and adventurous girl, but she does have tonitrophobia and claustrophobia - The fear of thunder and lightning, and the fear of tight spaces.

8 turned his head to see Shadow, saying nothing as usual.

Lyra had come by the apartments along the street to hand out fliers for tickets to the wrestling championship, and now she was standing next to 8 with a feeling of amazement. "Wa- That. That was awesome. You gotta teach me how to shoot lasers some time, ya know?" She grinned at Shadow, too. "Hey, this your guy? Dang, you must have a heck of a time playing laser tag." She propped herself up against the brick wall with an elbow, crossing her legs for comfort. She loved watching cops yell at people. Quite amusing, isn't it?

Lyra giggled, one of the few ways she compared to a real girl. "Yeah, right. Ring me up when you need a lady in waiting." Lyra waved at a cop. "Hey popo, he went that way!" She didn't bother to point out the direction, just to watch them swarm like ants.

Lyra waved them off. "Ha, no. Their better than my mom. She got divorced with my dad, you see, so I live with my dad. Most annoying thing in the world, she is. Most I can muster up to say about her is she should hike up her skirt and give up her hopes of marrying a rich fashion designer. Heck with her. She's insane!" She tried to think of her worst memory. Bang. She found it. "Its hard to believe... But... She got. Me in. A dress. It was a pretty thing, but that thing had ruffles like an elephant has wrinkles. I couldn't see over where my belly's s'posed to be. Worst off, I was going to homecoming with a guy. Thank god it was cancelled."

Lyra snickered. "Too bad goth isn't in season anymore. If I were you, I'd pretend to have marked Halloween on the wrong day." She rotated her ears in circles, popping out the stillness. "Arg, I can't stand sitting still. I have ADHD or something." She began pacing in circles like I do when talking or chatting on the phone.

Lyra shrugged. "I also have Epilepsy." One of her shoulders twitched, and she smacked it down.

Lyra squinted at Shadow. "What?" Her little claw twitched on the other arm. This meant she would have a seizure in about an hour.

Lyra wasn't convinced. She just tried to remain casual. "Uh-huh..."
