Aurora sighed putting her head on her hands. She looked of into the distence seeming distracted by something that no one else could see. The words to the song echoed through her mind: I come back when you call me, no need to say goodbye... "Aurora!" The teacher yelled slapping her ruler on Aurora's desk,"Stop day dreaming and start learning!" She snapped making Aurora nearly jump out of her seat. |

Nails looked up as the teacher turned on her next, "And what are you doing Madison?" she asked tartly. Nails cringed at the sound of her actual name and murmured, "I finished my work Ms. I'm just p*censored*ing time." The teacher seemed mollified by this and walked off, muttering something about 'Good for nothing teenagers'.

Jace picked up a pencil and started to draw intricate drawings on his desk. He drew what looked like a small feline on his desk, then smudged it away. He had just drawn a snow leopard; his animal form and trusted creature. ______ Charlotte jumped when the teacher yelled at Aurora. She carefully turned off her iPod and glared at the teacher. "Back off," she spat, violet eyes blazing angrily. The teacher looked at her incrediously. ______ Josh flicked another piece of eraser, hitting the girl who was sitting in front of Jace. Oops.

Aurora sat still quiet. She narrowed her eyes and watching the teacher carefully. Aurora could have swore that the teachers around here were out for her. They were just waiting for her to do something wrong.

Nails stared at the sketch pad for a moment then shaded in the small part of Jace's neck that was showing. Frowning, she erased it and tried again. After that, she moved down to his desk, drawing the animal he was sketching. A Snow leopard, she thought, amused, That's also my animal form, though mine is black,

Jace heard a pencil on paper, and turned his head to lock eyes with Nails with modest curiousity. His silver eyes flickered, and he smiled his crooked smile, that seemed to break hearts. He turned back and scribbled something on a piece of paper quickly, then flashed it at Nails when the teacher wasn't looking. Hello, My name's Jace. It read in scratchy writing. Who are you?

Nails glanced at Jace, writing her message on the back of her drawing, I'm Nails, sorry if I'm bothering you. She wrote, giving Jace a grin back, revealing her permantly sharp teeth. |

Jace rolled his eyes, ripping out another page of his notebook. He chuckled lightly to himself as he wrote in sloppy cursive, Why would a pretty girl like you, be bothering a lonely boy like me? He flashed a cheeky grin.

Aurora watched the two people write messages to each other. She groaned closing her eyes and heard the words to the song again. She opened her eyes back up. She got up and slowly walked over to the teacher's desk while the teacher went to talk to another student. She grabbed her music player and raced back to her desk undetected.

Charlotte blinked at Aurora in surprise. "Nice," she commented dryly with a yawn, "But you might want to hide it in about three seconds." She could tell the teacher was about to turn around.

Charlotte locked eyes with the teacher as she turned around, and focused on urging the teacher to end clas$ early. The teacher gritted her teeth and said slowly, "I think we've learned enough for today; everyone can talk QUIETLY amongst themselves." Charlotte looked away, making it seem like the teacher's decision had nothing to do with her. ______ Josh blinked in surprise at the teacher, looking stunned. Mrs.Marintate had never, ever said that before.

Aurora looked up surprised. She shrugged turning her music on. She started to write the words down on a piece of paper. They weren't right. They had the right words in it but it was all scrambled up. She did this folding the of paper into ten pieces and sticking it into her bag.

Josh blinked, and turned in his seat to face Charlotte and Aurora. "Hello," he chimed, studying them over carefully. Automatically he senced that Charlotte was one of the Grave people, but he didn't say anything. Charlotte glared at the dragon-boy with narrowed purple eyes. "Hello," she said beck quietly; she could feel the tension and accusations in the air.

Jace pulled his chair up to Nails' desk with a smile. "Hello there," he chimed in his attractive british accent. "So I heard you were drawing me?" He raised one eyebrow with a cocky grin. ________ Josh started to ignore Charlotte. "My name's Josh," he said. "Who are you?" Charlotte whispered under her breath, "Your worst nightmare..." He flashed her a firty look and turned back to Aurora with a smirk.
