"No, I am going to keep her. Look at these scars, they were definitally caused by dog fights." he replied confidently. He ran his hand over the many scars and cuts over the dog. "They were probably holding illegal dog fights and this is just one of the many dogs affected by it."

Teresa frowned slightly.
Not just naive. Spontaneous too.
She simply nodded. Despite it all she trusted his judgement. "Let's go then. She can't come to school. Is your house far?"
She stood and took a step back as casually as possible, glad to be a bit further from the dog, despite how cheerfully it was wagging it's tail at her.

"No, my house is just around the corner." Aaron replied, patting the dog as he got up. "Come on girl." he said as he walked in the direction of his house. He motioned for Teresa to follow and the three of them searched for his house.

Teresa waited a few seconds, then followed after him, keeping a respectable distance from the dog. It could run at her at any moment. They were unpredictable creatures.
She eyed it warily, then moved closer to Aaron, making sure to keep on the opposite side.

They had entered a quaint street lined with houses. It was very, very quiet. Teresa blinked. She had missed the sound of silence. Cars created an awful lot of noise.
Is this Aaron's street? She wondered.

Aaron stopped dead in his tracks. "I can't go home." he said, wondering what to do with the dog. "Schools not out yet and my parents are home, they will ask why I skipped school." he said with fearful eyes.

Teresa blinked, the sunlight reflecting off of her dark hazel eyes as she pondered her options.
Her first was to help Aaron out and offer to keep the dog at her house, which would make Aaron happy but her seriously uncomfortable.
Her second was to suggest that they leave the dog somewhere safe for the day, which would make her more happy.
But Aaron wouldn't be.
She looked up at Aaron, determination set in her face beautiful pale face. "We're taking her to my house. Which was is Redwind Drive?"
(( Redwind Drive is her street. :p Just made it up on the spot. ))

"No, I can tell you don't like her. She will wait for us outside of school." Aaron took the collar off of the dog and started walking back to school. Lunch would be over in about five minutes so they didn't have much time before next period starts.

"No she won't." Teresa said, slipping into stubborn mode. "I said we're taking her to my house. So we will. It's not like I hate her," She frowned slightly. "just the canine race in general." She ran her finger along the scars on her arm. "Just a bad memory of one."
She eyed the dog, stroked it once on the head, then turned and started walking. "I'll get over it. So are you going to take me to Redwind Drive or not?"
She knew people generally hated it when she got like this, but she honestly didn't care in this situation. Even if she wasn't on particularly good terms with dogs, she didn't want to make it sit in the hot sun all day.

"If you say so." he said sarcastically,"Yea, I guess I'm taking you to Redwind Drive." Taking a left at his street and a right at the next brings you to Redwind Drive so it wasn't like it was far away. Soon they were on Teresa's street.

Once they had arrived at her house- which was actually a small town house- Teresa grabbed a normal-looking flower pot (complete with dirt and tulips) and opened a small soil-free compartment in the side. Inside was her key. She grabbed it and used it to open the door.
Luckily the inside of her house was fairly modern, since her town had provided it for her. A simple hardwood floor covered the hallway, which branched out to three different rooms. To their right was a staircase.
She glanced back to make sure that Aaron and the dog were following. She was fairly sure that the dog wouldn't attack her at any time, so she was feeling a bit safer.
Teresa got two bowls from her cupboard and filled them with water and the leftover meatballs from last night's meal.
"This should be enough for a couple of hours, right?" She bit her lip and looked at Aaron.
