Jake shook her hand, completely ignoring the markings. Being an inhuman himself, he didn't notice things like that. He had markings on his back after all.

"This is Emma....We are in search of some other people... Have you noticed anyone else?" Jake asked. He was worried about no one else being here.  

"Um... No." Jake sighed. "Im 'gifted' as they say... I can control certian things." He said. 

Emma looked at Dusk. "They told me Im not. They told me Im The Pulse."  

"Woah that so cool!" Jake said... but then shut himself up... " I dont have normal blood either. You ever hear the term blue blood?" Jake looked down at his arm, and his just parted. Just like that. Out oozed blue blood, and then he magically brought it back into his arm and sealed the cut.

Emma was silent.  

"She can activate a very high power chemical that no one else can." Jake said. Emma nodded. She looked around.

"People want me." She said. Jake sighed. "Well... lots of people do, yes, but she can kill them easily with the chemical."  

"Hm... Your blood must be toxic or something.." Jake said, pondering the though.

"Ive never been cut on accident before... My skin is tuff." Emma murmered.

"I think you have a little bit of a gift. It would sure stop any enemies." Jake said.  

Emma sighed. She didnt mean to insult her.

"You know...we could use your help. We have to go on a very dangerous mission, and so far our team hasnt been..to helpful." Jake said.... trying to change the subject.  

((Time for miss arrogant to come in ;P I want magical blood too! sorreh, childish))

Ivory was hold a gold tinted piece of card with white scroll work on it. she had to admit, it was very impressive, but the message on it read "Will you help us?" Of course she had no idea what that meant, but it appealed to her, so she decided to take a look, where to look was a mystery itself. 

Ivory must have walked for about a hour. "where the hell im i going?" she moaned. She removed the blade from the siver necklace and fastened it round her neck. Mauling the blade she cut her thumb. "Stupid." she called herself before realising what colour it was. It was silver, like mercury, only this was inside her. she wasn't dead, so this wasn't the poisonous metal. a few seconds later, it hardened, Ivory took the blade between her teeth and stared at the solidified blood. she eventually broke it off and where the cut had been was a faint silver line. "Well thats just weird." she muttered, blade still clenched between her teeth. now looking at the small nugget of silver, she was confused. she had grazed her knee that morning at it was regular blood. 

Ivory looked up from the nugget and saw a gather of three people. she didn't know why, but had an inkling they would know something about it.

"Hey, you. ever heard of silver blood by any chance?" she shouted before nearing the group. and tossing the silver tear drop like thing to the boy. 

"I have silver blood." Emma said, quietly. 

Jake cought the tear drop of silver. "Hm... Interesting. Where did you find this?" He asked the girl.  

Ivory looked at him with a "Didn't i just tell you look?" but instead of trying to explain, she just took the blade, and slit open her left wrist with ease. instead of ruby red blood swelling out, a silver liquid oozed out of the deep cut. a large pool formed on her dark skin and quickly dried.

Ivory found the strange occurrence both repulsive and attractive at the same time. she removed the silver plate from her wrist. it was about the same size as a McVities digestive biscuit with curved edges, and again, the silver line was left. 

she tapped the plate against her blade. "its properties when solid are just like metal. Silver, infact." she spoke knowingly. she had spent a great deal of her life around expensive metals, but hadn't realised that these people may freak out.
