Drakine snorted when she p*censored*ed through the courtyard. "Idiot wolf-boy," she growled. "I am the dragon." Then she opened another door, possibly to another part of the school, before disappearing inside of it.

Taylor kept running, never wanting to stop. She just wanted to run away from everything. Run from her life. She skidded to a stop at a large cliff. She forced herself to sit down, but then sprang back up again. Life. What meaning did her life have to her. Why should she survive. Who would be there to care if she was gone. She stiffened. Bunching up on her haunches, she jumped off the edge of the cliffs, not wanting second thoughts. Her paws scrabbled for purchase, but all they reached was air. Her panic caused her to shift. Feathers sprouted from her back. Her paws stretched to make wings and her hind-legs grew hard and turned into talons. Crying out, she realized she had turned into an eagle. Grief flooded her again and she hovered in the air.

After hanging in the air for about an hour, Taylor swallowed her grief and flew back to the cliffs. She sat down and as she began to shift, she watched the stars. Soon she was sobbing, horrified at the thought of what she had almost done to herself. Shifting to her side, she pulled on the gra.ss mindlessly. Eventually, she sat up and trudged back through the forest with defeat, yelling mentally at herself for screaming at Xhaos.

“Don’t think such bad things about yourself.” A woman said as she stepped from the shades of the trees. “Who are you,” Taylor asked, her voice dull. “I am one of the teachers here at the School of Hope.” Taylor nodded. “So, you can read minds.” She stated. “Yes child, but only what is on the surface. You seem to care much for Xhaos, do you not?” Taylor nodded. “Then, don’t worry, for she will be taken under my care.” Hope glimmered in Taylor’s eyes, but was overshadowed by grief. “No. You’ll get hurt. She is always angry at herself. That’s what causes her rages. Just the tiniest things can…” Taylor broke off, not wanting to answer. “Do not worry, for I have taken care of students such as her before.” With that, the woman stalked off into the forest, leaving Taylor more filled with hope for herself and Xhaos than ever before.

Luke sniffed the air in wolf-form, ears up and tail wagging slowly, Ms. Thomas was walking this way, he slipped behind a tree in the courtyard silently, and as the fairy, currently human sized, walked by, he jumped out, barking and snarling.

"Nice try Luke." Holly said with a wink, turning to face her student, "but I'm all but immune to your tricks."

Luke laughed as he shifted human, "Uh-huh, sure you are, you gotta admit that for a minute, you were scared!" he teased.

Holy shook her head, "not at all Mr. Branson, now I suggest you get to clas.s" she shrunk back to Fairy size, "or wherever it is you go." She flew to the doors and slipped in over another students head, disappearing into the halls.

Luke chuckled and walked toward the building, leaning onto the side of it with a yawn of boredom.

Ribunny was hiding behind a tree by the school.  He narrowed her eyes, How do I know if this school is for real... She wonderd, How do I know if its just a loony place... AGAIN.  She growled a little, remembering the other 'special' school she had gone to.  Luckily when she escaped from that other school the police dogs refused to track her.  After a few minuts, she cautiously walked out from behind the tree, looking around to see if anyone was around.
