Taylor ran to Luke. She grabbed hold of his sides and brought her mouth to his, desperate to stop his tremors. “Luke, don't lose yourself. If we’re going to stop these people, we have to learn control.” She whispered in his ear. She held onto him then, she held onto his shaking, angry body, wondering what they had done to deserve this.
Current Goal: Hatch a Black and Albino Shaefu. Get all Dye Kit Color Shaefu. 2 Dyes so far and 4 Shaefu Hatched. Thread up in Ads if you want to see what I'm selling.

Luke shivered at her touch. She was close. A little to close. He clenched his jaw shut andforced the rest of his muscles to relax, it was either stay human, or hurt Taylor. His choice was obvious. He sighed and visibly relaxed, a smile twitched at the side of his mouth and he hugged Taylor tightly, "right. control." he chuckled softly. |

“See, it’s not that bad to take control.” She said, loving the sound of his laugh in her ear and his warm breath on her neck as he hugged her closer. “What do we do?” She asked. “I want to run, but I also want vengeance,” she said with an amber gleam in her eye. She looked up at him. “I don’t want to run alone, but I want to be alone on that battlefield. I don’t want anyone to get hurt. If anyone’s going to get hurt, it’s going to be me.” She said, blabbering on because 1. She didn’t know what else to do when she was panicking. 2. She wasn’t ready to go face the real world knowing this. 3. She didn’t want to let go of Luke.

Luke laughed, "well, What if some of us want to fight?" he asked, pulling away reluctantly and looking directly into her eyes, "I actually enjoy causing destruction." his eyes sparkled mischieviously.

Drakine made her way to the front of the school. Well, the outside part of it. In the front was a huge tree that she sat in whenever she wanted to just be alone. Climbing up through the branches, she felt her muscles relax. She sighed and sat down on the top branch when she got there. There was a slight breeze and it played with her black hair; twirling it around and getting it in her face. Leaning back against the trunk, she let one leg hang over the branch while the other followed the length of it. She closed her eyes, and fell into a waking slumber.
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

She felt him let go, but his hands lingered on her shoulders. “Luke. You know as well as I do that at least one person at this school, right now, is going to die in this fight. We will have to train our hardest, but we can’t push ourselves over the edge. Let’s get through Professor Gale’s cla.ss and how about us two wolves go for a run.” She said, happy to have the powers she does. She looked up at him with absolute trust, hoping, pleading, that he wouldn’t be the one that would not come back from this battle.

"we don't know that everyone wont survive. Nobody has to die. I won't let it happen. Trust me on this, everything will work out okay? Now clas.s, then run? but only short okay? I want to get a little sleep tonight." he said, turning to walk into the clas.sroom, "Hey Professor Gale! Long time no see!" he sid with a laugh, taking a seat in the back of the clas.sroom.

Taylor walked in the clas.s and sat beside Luke. Who knows, she thought. Maybe Luke’s right and we will make it out alive after all. “This clas.s, as you know it, is about learning to control your powers. Luke get your chin up, stop being the lazy lap-dog you are, and pay ATTENTION.” She said. Taylor was confused for a moment before she realized that the Professor was trying to make Luke mad. She shifted her gaze to Luke, wondering if he would stay calm or if his body would wrack with tremors again.

Luke shrugged, "I'm kinda big to be a lap-dog Professor." he painted out, "and I don't know about that paying attention thing." he yawned and leaned back on his chair, tipping it up on two legs and resting his feet on the table in fron of him, "Its not really my style." he grinned. Taylor smiled, knowing that he would pull through with the skills he had shown in the hallway. The grin on Luke’s face told Taylor that he didn’t know Professor Gale had been testing him, though. “Well, done Luke. Well done. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you show so much control. What caused you to stay calm?” The professor asked, ignoring his cocky grin and attitude. Showing off for the ladies, huh. She thought. She then looked at Taylor. Or lady. She chuckled.

“Okay, Luke. I have decided. You are controlled enough to not receive instructions on this course anymore. You are free to leave if you wish.” The professor said. Taylor looked up. She thought it was just a test she had given him. She looked sideways at him, knowing Luke, he would probably enjoy anything more than being in clas.s. Even if it meant being with her. “I shall continue Luke. You may stay if you wish. Now, students. I am going to try to make you angry. Make you so angry, you will want to kill me. I know this is dangerous for me, but I trust my students to do the right thing. And the right thing is control. Now Taylor.” Taylor flinched, not wanting to know what she was going to say. “I heard you escaped from a lab.” Taylor’s temper instantly flared and she struggled to remain calm. She was too afraid to look to her right, just in case he wasn’t there. “Were you born there, too. Or did you parents drop you there because they didn’t accept you. Because they didn’t love you.” Her voice was icy and cruel. Taylor looked into the woman’s eyes. Calm thoughts, Taylor. Calm thoughts. But the professor’s voice leaked into her thoughts. They didn’t want you. NO. Calm. Calm. They didn’t love you. Worthless excuse for a human. Taylor moaned from the emotional pain. “Stop. Please,” She whispered. She felt helpless. She had been fighting the pain so much throughout her whole life, it had built up. “NO!” She screamed. She didn’t have the energy to change. She fled the room. She fled that horrible voice. NO, no no no no. was all she could think. Eventually, she stopped in the courtyard, tired and out of breath. She cried her heart out. She cried, blaming her parents, blaming the professor, blaming herself.

Luke raised one eyebrow, glancing at the professor, "should I go get her?" he asked. Without waiting for and answer he got up, shifting into a wolf in midstep. He walked out the door and stuck his nose to the ground, easily following Taylor's scent, he saw her in the courtyard and padded over to her, "how about that run?" he said softly. |

“I’d like that, but I’m not sure I can change.” She looked down helplessly, still overcome with grief. “Why didn’t they want me though?” she asked him. “What did I do wrong?” she knew she was questioning everything she believed in. she didn’t see the point of believing in it anymore. Her powers were uncontrollable, she was unstable, and her parents hated her for what she was. She stretched out on her back. “Why are we like this? Why do we have these powers in the first place? Why are people evil? Why do they hate me? Why do they hate us?” She waited in silence, knowing that there were no answers to these questions.

Luke thought for a moment, "Humans, well, real humans dont accept wierd well. They have never taken kindly to differences. They fear what they do not understand." he shifted human, "like us. They have never seen things like us, so they are afraid. and fear makes people do bad things."

“Stupid humans,” She said. “I guess they’re not all bad though. Besides polluting the earth, killing animals, having war with…” She broke off and sat up. “Oh.” She said at her realization. “War. War.” She said repeatedly, looking at Luke with a ghostly stare.

She smiled, knowing that he meant it when he said he got her back. She smiled, but she knew that they could make her do it. She knew that she could make anyone do what they wanted. Because if they didn’t cooperate, they were marked as useless and they were killed. She had seen it. She kept her worries to herself, hoping that Luke wouldn’t notice her distractions or what she was thinking. She shifted all of her concerns, her anger, and her power into the thoughts of that of a wolf. When she changed she realized she was noticeably smaller than Luke, but she didn’t mind. “Let’s go for that run.” She said.
