Drakine turned to Professor Gale with confusion on her face. "What is happiness?" she asked, dispair clear in her tone. "What does it mean to be happy?"

“Drakine, happiness is something to be shared. The only way to look for happiness is to get past all of the hatred and violent emotions in the world. Happiness is sharing trust with someone. Whether it be a friend, with your love, or even with a stranger. I can’t really describe it, Drakine because happiness means something different to everyone. You must look for happiness yourself Drakine. I suggest apologizing to Drake first. Get to know him. Perhaps you will find what you are looking for there. If not, open your eyes Drakine. Stop ignoring everyone else. Be the dragon you are. Don’t stay cooped up in your egg. Hatch and embrace what awaits you.” ((fail fail fail fail. XD))

Drakine wrapped her arms around her middle. "What if I'm not ready to embrace the thing that awaits me?" she asked as she tilted her head to one side as dispair still coloured her tone.

“Drakine, what may I ask, are you waiting for? Do you think happiness is just going to come to you? NO! you must find it yourself. If you want to spend the rest of your life as you are now, be my guest, but I know that if you give life a chance, Drakine, you would finally be happy. Please listen to me Drakine,” The professor said. She walked up to her and grabbed her arms. “Don’t ever be afraid of happiness. If we didn’t have it, our lives would be pointless. Drakine, go find the boy. Make him happy and maybe he will share his happiness with you. Embrace it Drakine. It’s not too late, but it may be if you don’t change soon. Then you won’t have the freedom of living.” The professor hugged her, something she had never thought of doing in her whole life. “Try it Drakine and don’t be afraid to take chances. I can promise you now that you will get hurt along the way to finding happiness, but don’t ever be scared or give up. Live Drakine. Love. And just enjoy what you have while you’ve got it.” ((oh my gawsh. Writing this stuff is sooo hard. Does it sound weird or repetitive XD?))

Drakine nearly took a step back when Professor Gale hugged her. Her eyes wide with shock. She had never experienced anything like this. All she knew was hatred and how to hurt other people. That and the nightly abuse from her parents. She never knew love. "I will try if you let go of me," she said.

Fun. Right. Drakine gave a crooked smile before she quickly got out of the clas-sroom to go find Drake. And... apologize for her actions.

Drake received stares as he walked through the courtyard with his head low. The ice kept melting in the heat, creating a soothing sensation on his arm. He stopped to reapply more of the ice to his arm and flinched when the burns came in contact with it. This had happened at least five times already. When he was finished, he walked around some more before giving up. He had rounded the perimeter of the school again and was standing under the bottom of Drakine’s favorite tree. Anger flared inside him and ice shot out of his hands in deadly splinters, putting small indents into the tree. Drake calmed his anger and went to pull out the icicle spears. I am soo going to be roasted alive. He thought as he pulled them out. Oh well. It’s not like anything else can hurt me now. He stood under the tree, too tired from the emotional pain to move.

Hearing wood splinter under pressure, Drakine feared for her tree and bolted to the front of the school to see indentations in the trunk of her favourite tree. Fury whelled up inside of her and she strode up to Drake, her anger clear in her now golden eyes. "What did you do," she demanded forcefully.

“I didn’t mean to Drakine. You have trouble controlling your powers, too. Go ahead and burn me. I just don’t care anymore.” He sat down heavily, carefully edging himself away from the tree. He was careful not to look in her golden eyes, knowing that he would only see hatred and malice in them. He braced himself for the fire that was sure to come by putting his hands over his head and encasing himself in a thin la
yer of ice. Then decided he didn't want to be protected and broke it away. He held his head low, looking forward without seeing anything. "I'm waiting. Just go ahead and get it over with." He said.

Ribunny walked inside of the school. Karr, her raven, well she didn't really own him, but Karr wanted to stay by her side, walked into the school. We have to find a teacher and ask them if I can keep you. Ribunny told Karr, and Karr nodded. She walked past a room, and thought she heard people talking in it. She consentrated on turning her ears into bat ears... and it worked! Wow! I actually did it! It never worked before! She thought, happy with herself, then listened in on the conforsation she heard in the room, her bat ears making it very easy to hear them. |

Drakine growled and rubbed her temples. Her eyes closed and her shoulders relaxed. "God. As much as I want to kill you and bathe in your blood, I am not," she said, her voice softening from its previous anger. Then she collapsed to her kness and sighed in slight defeat. "I no not of other emotions. Though I want to try."

((lol ri. That’d be something I’d want to see XD)) “Professor Sparks (head professor), you know as well as I do that they are coming. They want the children. They don’t care about us.” Professor Black said. “Yes, Black, I do know that. It seems that a battle is inevitable though. We can’t take all of the students out of the school safely. Panic would arise and that would cause the unexperienced ones to…oh the panic it would cause.” Professor Sparks sighed. “Then we must leave.” Spoke a voice. The professors looked at the woman who had stayed silent during the meeting. “What are you proposing ms. Dark.” Professor Sparks said. “I am proposing that we leave for our safety. We will stay close by, but we will let fate determine the outcome. We cannot interfere. We need to learn exactly what these people want. The children will choose a leader or leaders naturally. They will be able to rid of this army, but we CANNOT interfere.” Professor Sparks looked at Ms. Dark, undecided. “What you say makes little sense to me, Ms. Dark, but alas that has always been your nature. So be it. When the army comes, we shall leave. Tell no student of this, for if one knew, there would be chaos.” All of the professors stood up and were preparing to leave the room. Drake looked at her, confused. “Who are you and what have you done with my Drakine?” He said.

((I know, right XD)) Ribunny's eyes widened and she looked at Karr, Did you hear that?! She exclamed. Karr nodded, this is bad! We must tell someone! Ribunny nodded, But who? I don't really have any friends here yet... Suddenly, her bat ears pricked, They are going to leave the room! We gotta run! Her bat ears dissapeard and she ran away, Karr squawking out of surprise when she started to run since he didn't have a good grip on her sholdier at the time.
