Drakine landed as awkwardly as she had taken off. Placing the kill in her mouth next to the fire, she pulled up the other one with her foreclaws before she shifted back to her human self. Huffing, she streatched her arms behind her back.

((LP?)) Drake set to work with carving up the deer with his knife. He ignored Drakine, knowing she wouldn't enjoy his comments or his talking. He kept them to himself. He was just about done with this vacation with Drakine. He had been hoping she would actually show some reference to liking him. "After we eat. Let's just go home, Drakine." He said, annoyance leaking into his comment.

[[ Means Late Post. ]] Drakine looked at Drake. "But I want to stay out here more," she said, lowering her arms. "I haven't been able to feel the sun on my back for a while." A crooked smile curved her lips. "And I want to... enjoy?... yes... enjoy it with somebody else." She paused slightly in her last sentance as she looked for the correct word, her head tilted to one side when she finished it up.

((snoweh, ur such a poofer. tell us when ur about to poof. okay so ribunny overheard the teachers saying they wuz gunna leave when the battle comes. Ms. Dark said they had to so theys didn't interupt fate or whatev. So Taylor left Luke a letter daying she and Ribunny were going to train in the courtyard. i'll edit the post with the letter. And um. Drake and Drakine r going to find an enemy base camp um like way far away from the school...I guess that's it....Just read the note.....))

Drakine's eyes widened slightly and she adverted her gaze as a delicate blush appeared beneath her black eyes. A warm feeling filled her body. Something that she wasn't used to. It felt warm and fuzzy.

Drake’s eyes widened. Drakine did NOT just blush. He thought. He moved closer to her so their arms were touching. The heat of the fire blazed next to them, but that wasn’t what was making Drake feel warm. He watched the pink fade from her cheeks. He leaned in closer to her so his breath was on her lips. “Are you enjoying this moment right now?” He asked in a husky voice.

Drakine flinched slightly when she felt Drake's arms touching hers. She hesitated and opened her mouth slightly to say yes. But no sound came. She really was enjoying the moment, but her head was spinning from the mere scent of Drake. It was so different than her own.

Drake saw her open her mouth, but no words came out. He took that as a yes. He bent down, slowly. He didn’t want to get roasted alive again. He chuckled a little bit as he pressed his lips to hers. He was trying to be gentle, not wanting to startle her, but he wanted her so much. He wanted her to show that she liked him back. He didn’t want her to push him away again. It would destroy him.

As if on their own accord, her arms moved and crossed at the wrist behind Drake's neck. She tilted her head slightly and kissed him back, though it was hesitant. This time his lips were gentle upon hers and another forgotten feeling rose through the icy hatred that normally consumed her life. The new feeling was pleasure.

Drakine pushed back at his kiss. Drake pulled his neck back and gasped. Happiness consumed him and he leaned down again on Drakine, placing his lips once more on hers. Still, they were gently. He didn’t want to push her too far. He didn’t want to scare her away. Who woulda thought. Fire and Ice. Finding a way to coexist in the universe. He thought.

Confusion crossed her face when Drake pulled away, but it vanished when his lips reclaimed hers. Still gentle. Pulling herself closer to him, she breathed in his scent as she broke away slightly. It still made her head spin. A contented, rumbling purr sounded in her throat as she kissed his cheek. [[ Shad, I just had this wacky idea about Drake. Wanna hear it? ]]
