He had finally accomplished something he had never thought was possible. He had won over Drakine. He was glad that he had been the one to give her a little taste of happiness. He realized that now, he only wanted Drakine to be happy. He couldn’t bear to see her hurt anymore. “So. Do you think that maybe I’m not so bad now?” Drake asked Drakine.

Oh well. Drake thought. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts. He draped his arm over Drakine and watched the sun rise over the hazy desert-like sand.

Drakine suddenlt stiffened under Drake's arm. Turning her head, she sniffed the air before she let out a low growl. "Something is out there, watching us. They arrived only a few seconds ago," she stated as she leaned her forehead on Drake's shoulder. [[ Gotta go. Parents are being effing stupid about my Geometry grade. ]]

((Lol Dragon.)) Drake looked around. “Watching us? But we’re like two days away from the school and that’s because we flew!” He said. He was surprised at how Drakine seemed so calm at the thought of being watched. He sighed. “Drakine, we have to check this out. Don’t use your powers though.” He whispered in case someone overheard.

Drake swore under his breath. Amber. Really, you had to use your powers? Whoever is out there will know about our powers now. Drake cautiously stood up. He looked around, examining the area. A buzzing noise went past his ears. He whipped around and saw a small dart impale itself in a tree. He cursed and yelled at Drakine to get up. He did a quick touch-up to himself, layering himself in an impenetrable wall of ice. He just hoped Drakine would do that same with her fire. Another dart whizzed by and he looked to the left. Narrowing his eyes, he spotted the man. He was perched in a tree with a small whistle-like thing in his mouth. Drakine ran toward’s him silently, dodging the poisonous darts. He jumped up onto the bottom branch of the tree and climbed toward the man. The man gave a weak shout for help before Drake muted him with a burn from his frosty hand. Drake covered the man’s mouth with his hand and hauled him over to Drakine.

"Alright Ri, what i want you to do is just keep changing. Shift your form into any way you can imagine. Tire yourself out. We are going to build up our stanima." Taylor said. She walked a little way's away from ribunny and started shifting herself. Snow leopard, lion, hawk, snake. Everything she could think of. The more she changed, the harder it got, but she was determined.
