Taylor trudged on with her feet dragging in the sand. She looked to her right and saw a shimmering lake. Sighing, she sat down for a rest and took a drink. Her cheetah self had disappeared after she knew the danger was over. Now she was cold, alone, and hungry. When she was done with her rest, she stood up and left the lake behind. She didn’t know where she was going, all she knew was that she had to get away from those people. The ones that had captured her before. Shivering, she rubbed her arms to warm herself back up and began down the sandy trail again. ((My posts are gonna look weird from now on.))

((Yeah, Typo can tell o.O)) The hot afternoon sun beat down unrelentingly on the small ragged figure below. Its powerful rays burned the back of the small girl, who was dressed in a dirty t-shirt and ragged shorts. She stumbled across the road, arms hugging her chest as she hurried on, not wanting to be seen. Her small, pale face looked at the ground, watching the well-worn dirt path without taking anything in. Her violet eyes gazed sadly downwards as she walked, filling with tears as she recalled her old life. She was wornout and beaten, hungry and tired, wishing for a place to lie down and rest in the cool shade. |

Taylor looked back, her sensitive ears tracing the sound of footsteps behind her. Snarling, she whirled around only to find a girl walking along the path. Taylor hesitated, but the girl just walked right past her. Taylor found the girl's eyes glazed with pain and grief. "Hey, wait" Taylor called out, trying to break the girl from her trance.

The girl glanced up, her violet eyes clearing slightly, "Oh, yes?" she replied in a small voice, hugging her arms around herself more tightly. She looked back down at her dirty feet, stained almost black with dirt. I need to bathe, she thought idly as she shivered. Her thin shoulders shook with cold and her undernourished body was covered with goosebumps, though it was a hot and balmy day out.

pression in her eyes. Taylor shrugged off her jacket when she saw that the girl was shivering. "Here, put this on." Taylor said, while she worried about the girls health. "So, i'm Taylor. You're new best friend." ((I love how pushy she is XD))

The girl looked at Taylor again, "Xhaos...thanks," she murmured, disconcerted by the girl's kindness. Suddenly, her eyes filled with tears, "Stay away from me!" she yelled violently, "I'm too dangerous!" she sobbed loudly and turned from Taylor, her body heaving.
