"Ista can stay with me..." she suggested quietly. Ista smiled at Xhaos, "Thanks," she murmured, suprised by her generosity. Only minutes before, Xhaos had been strangling her. |

Luke shook his head, "I'm thinkiong not, seen as how we skipped all todays cl*censored*es, there is probably a bounty on out heads, so we should hide as well. I guess we could all hang in my dorm for now. I don't have a roomate and one of the bigest rooms there." he said with a shrug.

Xhaos glanced at Luke, "Well...we still have to get INTO your dorm...how about I shadowtravel us all? It's only a short distance so I can do it in about....let's say, two tries? Anyways, it's completely undetectable. No one will notice, not even Ms. Dark," she said thoughtfully. Ista watched the others, "What...are the teachers against you guys. Do they WANT us to be captured?" she asked, a slight tremble in her voice. |

Taylor looked up at her. "No. But one of the teachers, Ms. Dark, is telling them that they must abandon us in the fight. They want fate to unravel itself or something like that. In my opinion, they just want to figure out what we can do." She said, yawning herself and leaning up against Luke. "Xhaos, are you sure you can Shadowtravel us? You look awfully tired." She said.

Xhaos nodded firmly, "Yes, I can...and will," she glanced back at Ista, "But as a safeguard...Ista, can you restore some energy?" she asked, looking at the girl curiously. Ista shook her red hair, "Of course!" she said brightly, laying her hands on Xhaos's arms. Her hands glowed blue and a few sparks drifted from them to sink into Xhaos's skin. Xhaos felt her stanima being restored and sighed, rollling her shoulders. "All right, half go into a small group and the other half get farther away," she commanded, shadowfire lighting her hands up. |

Taylor walked over to Xhaos. She nodded confidentally to her. She's changed so much. Taylor thought. She seemed more confident in herself. Taylor stood next to her, watching as the shadowy flames licked at Xhaos's palm almost as if they wanted to please her. Storm walked over to the other group, unsure if Xhaos was still mad at him or not. "Is this going to hurt?" He asked. Taylor shot him a look. "Idiot." She said. "If it was going to hurt Xhaos, wouldn't do it." She said, snapping at him.

Xhaos grinned at Storm evilly, "Certainly won't hurt me, but about you guys...try to stay on my good side if you ever need to shadowtravel," The flames licked higher, making a long snaking line around her torso. A firey ring surrounded the first group, the flames growing by the moment. Ista shut her eyes in anticipation, shaking slightly. Oh god, what if this goes wrong? she thought in anguish, her palms sweaty against her arms, as she was hugging herself fiercely. |

Taylor watched in amazement as the flames traveled up her body. They licked her arms and legs and only left a tingling sensation. "Xhaos, this is great." She said. Oh jeez. I must be sleep deprived. She thought. She grabbed onto Xhaos, not wanting to be sucked out of the flames when Xhaos transported them. I should have just snuck in as a mouse or something. She thought as fear overcame her as the flames grew bigger and blocked the view of the outside world.

Xhoas smiled at Taylor, "It gets worse," she promised cheerfully, the flames enclosing the group in a shimmering umber dome. Her eyes lit up with mad joy as the interior suddenly turned pitchblack, her eyes the only light in it. Ista shivered as the dome grew cold, her arms pimpling with goosebumps, oh geeze, this is not good, not good at all, she thught. |

Xhaos began to scare Taylor. "Xhaos, you were kidding when you meant it gets worse right?" She asked, a sick feeling beginning to form in the pit of her stomach. Xhaos didn't look like the cheerful girl that had offered to shadowtravel them a moment before. Taylor looked at Ista. She was even more pale than she was before. An icy cold grip caught onto Taylor. She had had this feeling before. Back at the lab. She screamed.

Xhaos held Taylor down with a gentle hand, "Oh for heaven's sake, I meant it got COLDER," she said as calmly as she could with a screaming Taylor on her hands. She was right, it was cold, icy cold. Like the arctic sea. Then the cold disappeared, only to be replaced by a cheery room. "See?" she muttered. Ista sighed and sagged to the floor with relief, no more icy black darkness. "Oh great," she moaned with joy, her natural body heat returning. |

Taylor blinked her eyes open, taking in the familiarity of Luke's dorm room. "Sorry Xhaos. That moment just um...brought....nevermind." She said, stumbling off. She looked around the room. Stupid messed-up life creating stupid exaggerations. She thought. She felt miserable, her body was still cold so she hugged herself. "Sorry again." She said. "Guess you need to get the others." She whispered as her tortured mind replayed old, but not forgotten memories. memories that would rather have been kept locked up tight.

((Yeah. LOl.)) Taylor was sitting next to Luke on the couch. She looked around at the darkened room, wondering if everyone else had fallen asleep. Luke had been right, this room was pretty big. She looked around. This room had fit all of them comfortably. She yawned.

"Guys...I here footsteps," she whispered softly, padding over to Luke and Taylor, "Like, really close," Ista leaned against a pillar, her body aching after the shadowtravel. Ugh, it did havoc to my nervou system, she groaned inwardly, healing up the aches and bruises swiftly. |
