Unfurling her wings, she pushed off the ground, beating them several times. Thump... thump... thump... "Follow me if you wish," she said as she gained altitude.
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

Taylor looked up at the dragon's flight. "Wow." She said. "Maybe i can turn into a dragon." Concentrating hard, she thought about dragons and channeled all of her anger into that one wish. Looking down she saw....golden paws. "Oh well," she said as she followed the dragon-girl into the forest.

((Fine D8<)) Xhaos leaned against a tall oak tree, her chest heaving as she gasped for air. She looked around, seeing nothing familiar. Oh no, she thought anxiously, standing up straighter. She sat at the base of the oak tree, thinking about her options. 1. Go back... 2. Wander around in this forest 3. Sit tight and hope for the best 4. Shadowtravel She sighed, it looked like option 4 was the only really good one. Closing her eyes, she concetrated on the place she wished to go; The School of Hope. She felt the freezing flames lick up her arms, caressing her thin body. Suddenly, it was as if there was nothing, just....nothing. She gasped and opened her eyes, finding herself standing in a small courtyard. Is this is? |

She flew over the forest canopy with an arrow-like speed. She beat her wings a few more times before she slowed down. She was reaching the school. Landing in the front of the school, she turned back to a human and walked up through the front door while her wings melted into her back. "Mistriss Dark," Drakine called out softly. "There is a girl that you may be able to help. Her name is Xhaos and she bolted off into the forest." She knew that Mistriss Dark could hear her because she also thought it aloud for the telepath to hear.
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

Taylor bounded after the dragon-girl, aware of her wings melting into her back. Do i look like that when i shift? Taylor bounded up to the school, adrenaline making it impossible for her to shift back. She realized they were in a court-yard. Suddenly feeling cold. Cold like she could never believe, she yelped. A flash of fire popped in front of her vision. Taylor could barely glimpse Xhaos within the dark, flickering flames of shadow.

Taylor glanced to the right of Xhaos, who seemed unhurt in the flames. To her right was standing a gorgous boy. Taylor's head swam. Her protective instincts kicked in though, when she saw the boy advancing on Xhaos. Taylor loped over to Xhaos and intercepted the boy. She growled menacingly at him. "Keep your distance," She said. With sympathetic eyes, Taylor looked at Xhaos.

"Xhaos, I'm glad you're okay." Taylor said while bowing her head. Her anger receded once more and she was once again herself. With that, she bent and hugged Xhaos. "Xhaos, you're here. I'm here. We made it. We made it." Was all Taylor could say to herself and Xhaos.

Luke raised one eyebrow, "clearly I missed something." he said, a slight smile playing at the edge of his lips. His hair was ruffled in the breeze and he breathed in its scents, "so you are a dragon-girl?" he half-asked, half said to Xhaos.

Taylor stepped back, hurt piercing her heart. “Far away. Far away! I wanted you to come here so you could be cured. I could see the grief you carried was tearing you apart. This school can help you. I thought that you wanted to come. I thought you wanted to get better. To have control. You don’t know what it’s like to be a science experiment. A lab rat. To be tested on day after day. You don't know what it's like to be angered just to see what you can do. The abilities that you have. To be locked away from everyone with no connections for months. No, you just care about yourself!” She turned to Luke. "And you. Just leave her alone!" Tears streaming down her cheeks, Taylor shifted into a wolf as she ran into the forest.
