Just get some ribbon to match the color of my dress and use those as shoe laces. That way I'll be comfortable and will be able to run. So there." She said, sticking her tongue out.

Dani stopped by the conference room to pick up her folders and laptop before going over to the elevator. As she waited for it, she looked over the papers the doc gave them.

Nodding sleepily, Ilkimy's gave her a thumbs up. "Nice color. Shoes?" He asked, eyeing the lines of shoes with somewhat manly horror. "Thank God guys have two types of dress shoes. Polished leather, or non-polished leather." he joked, jerking his thumb over at the guy section. Still looking at the sky, Halien let the awkward silence continue for a while, until he finally asked, "Well, out with it. What do you need from me? Or to be more specific, what did Ilkimy ask you to ask me?" Halien stood for a second and winced, the scars were paining him. "Hold on for a sec." He muttered, then neatly flipped onto his hands, paused for a few seconds, then sat back down again. "Stupid scars..." Halien muttered, pain still lingering in his eyes.

Looking at Ash in surprise, a genuine smile, well more like smirk spread across his face. It was a small smile, but a smile. Gesturing towards the door, Halien asked in a mock-polite tone, "Have your dress yet Miss Ash?" Dropping his suit onto the ground with an unceremonious THUD, Halien jumped nimbly down from the roof, and looked up at her. "Need help getting down?"

Folding his arms against his chest, he looked at her, "Or to be more technical, nothing that concerns the attention of others asides the ones in the conversation."

Shrugging, Halien replied nonchalantly, "Dunno. Probably inside with the others.". Leaning over to pick up his hated suit, he strode off in search of Ilkimy. "Stupid boy.... Setting me up.... Bah.." He muttered, completely irked and humiliated that... that cake-boy had to set him up with a date. Well, it was more of a partnership, but still. Halien couldn't shake off the feeling it was a DATE.
