Jake jumped and looked at Aaron. "And who the hell are you? Guna tease me about being bi. Go ahead.. I'm guna die a bi anyways.." He grabbed the Kleenex and wiped his eyes then blew his nose. He threw it on the floor. "Leave me alone.. I wana be alone.." He walked inside his house and his mother immediately shouted at him for not bringing back the bread she asked him to. He looked at his mother and shouted back that Zane had been busy with a bug and didn't give him the money. His father stepped in and grabbed Jake by his shirt collar. He scolded Jake abou blaming his little broher for something. After that, he promptly threw Jake against the wall. Jake hit the wall and fell to the floor. He lay on the floor. His mouth dripping some blood. He felt a sharp kick to his chest and gut. He coughed and didn'd dare try to stop his dad. Zane nodded and ran toward the house. He slowly opened the door and looked at his dad beating Jake to death. His eyes welled with tears. "J-Jakey..." He back away from the door and ran to ANgel. He hugge dher tightly and cried his eyes out. "T-They are.. They are hurting Jakey.."

Angel's eyes went wide with fear. She walked slowly into the room. "Ex... Excuse me." She said quietly. They obviously didn't hear her. "EXCUSE ME!" She shouted with all the force she had. Her hair blew in her face and her fist's were in balls. Her eyes were wide and innocent looking. "I... I have some things to say..." Hoping they would stop and listen. Sunni ran home she started to feel cold and ran to the little pink house on the corner she ran inside to find her grandmother trying to put a shower curtain on the sink she slowly pulled it away for some reason she felt mad at the world.She ran out side and scrambled up the trellace onto the roof which was warm from heating up in the sun all day she sighed and laid down watching the clear starry sky and fell into a black dreamless sleep...

Aaron persisitently followed after Jake. "Why the hell would I tease you? If anything, you should tease me. I am white trash from the street, who somehow phases through walls." He felt like he said too much, but he didn't care. He looked at Jake's dad. "What the **** is your problem? I have to deal with crap like this daily, and I sure don't like it. SO WHY WOULD HE? Whats you problem? He has a hard enough life as it is! Leave him alone!" He felt like knifing him, but decided it would get too bloody, and traumatic for Zane.
Love is unconquerable. For love needs not the pleasure of outward beauty, as it takes great pride in the inward. Love needs not the cushion of luxury and riches, for lovers tend to grow closer in strife. Love needs not fame, for those true to love will not host greed.

Zane clunge to the back of her shirt. "Angel.. No please.. They're going to beat him more if he stops now. He's hurt Jake even more than this.. Please don't die Jake..." Zane burried his face in Angell's back. "Please don't let them kill Jakey.." Jake's father stopped and looked at Angel. "What the hell do you want? Can't you see I'm busy with my ignorant son.." He looked down at Jake. Jake coughed and his eyes were wide in fear. He slowly stood up and began to walk up the stairs to his room. He walked in and slammed the door. A loud thud could he heard from downstairs. Zane's eyes widened. "He collapsed.. He's way too hurt.. You.. Aaron.. please go and check on my nii-chan.. You undertsand him. Please. He's collapsed and I know he's very hurt. Please save my brother.." Zane's eyes filled with tears. |

Angel turned around to face Zane. She silently wrapped him in her arms, having several tears fall down her cheeks. Though she wasn't close to Jake, she couldn't stand to see anyone being beat, even if they did deserve it. "Zane..." She said so only he could hear. "Jake can stay at my house... Sunni slowly opened her eyes she selt her self sliding down the roof when she realized what was happening she jumped up and flipped backwards when she opened her eyes she felt unbearable pain,she had fallen of the roof and hit her pavement her legs screamed in pain.She screarmed as loud as she could to get help.She looked down to she one of her legs twisted and gnarled and drenched in blood.She screamed and sobbed "hhhhhheeeeellllppp"She gulped closing her eyes to numb the pain.

Aaron heard Sunni, and decided he had to go help her. "Wait a sec, " He wailed urgently. He ran through numerous walls to get to where Sunni was. "Happy to see an underaged drunken smoker like me for once?" He helped her down, and looked in horror at her legs. "Oh god. I have to take you to a hospital."

Jake opened his eyes and heard a terrible cry. "H-Help.... me..." He pas.sed out and let his white hair fall in frotn of his face. The pain was unbearable and his head was thribbing. Evey muscle in his body was aching and in pain. Blood dripped from his hair as his head began to bleed from being thrown against the wall. Zane looked up at Angel. He was pretty short for his age. He nodded and whispered. "Please.. Don't let Jake get hurt anymore.." Zane heard and scream and he turned around. "Mom, i'll bring back the bread.. I forgot to give Jake the money.." He wipe dhis eyes and ran to where the scream was coming from. He jumped over the fence and looked at Sunni. The blood made his squemish. He slumped down. "O-Oh god..." |

Sunni narrowed her eyes at his remark but looked away trying to hide her pain.She laid there then tried to gasp out words "th...th...theres no way t...t.....t....to get there"Her voice was hoarse and quiet from screaming.Tears streamed down her face and she looked at the bload soaked drive way.She begin to feel sleepy and blackness started to take over....

Zane jumped back up and walked over. His alter ego began to take over him. He felt braver and stronger. He smirked a little. "There is away to get to the hospital. If not, we can find a way. Even if we have to take you by train or stolen car. Either way woundn't matter to me." He smiled and his voice was just as dreamy as Jakes.

Aaron shook Sunni furiously. "Don't die...don't die..." He was panicking. Here, I will just hotwire this car..." He hotwired a new convertible, and sped off to the hospital.
"Doc, she's dying. Help her." He gave her to the doctor, and waited nervously in the waiting room. He didn't know why he helped her... just an adrenline rush.

Sunni opened her eyes she looked at her leg wraped up in a cast to her thigh.She closed her eyes and tears streamed her fast.She tried to speak but all that came out was a croak.She looked around at all the white.She sniffed the teall hair was matted into clumps the stuck out from her head.She gulped again and spoke "wheres Jake?"She said clearly hoping someone would hear her though no one was there that she saw.

Zane ended up staying behind and looked at the bloody puzzle. Zane jumped the fence and walked back to his house. His alter ego faded and he began to cry again. "Jakey!!" Zane ran upstairs and opened his brother's door. He grabbed Jake in his arms and hugged him tightly. He looked as his brother's hair bripped with blood. "Please Jakey...."

Angel went behind a door and suddenly vanished. She krept up the stairs silently and pushed Jake's door open. She appeared out of nowhere and looked at the two brothers. "Zane... Could you possibly distract your parents...? If you can keep their attention away from the stairs and doorway, I think I can get Jake out of here..." Angel was quite strong for her looks. She grapped Jake's arm and wrapped it around her should, hoisting him up. She took a step, practically dragging Jake. Angel looked at Zane with teary eyes. "Go... For your brother please."

Zane nodded and stood up. He ran down stairs and jumped on his father's chest. His chest was in his father's face. "Why did you do it?! Why did you beat my brother? WHy did tou hurt your own flesh and blood?!! WHy why why why?!!" Tear's streamed down his face as he father tried to pull him off. Zane clung even tighter. His mother helped his father and sighed. "Come on Zane.. Get off your father.."

Sunni slowly got up she wasnt in pain and she felt dizzy and light headed she figured it was morphine but it didnt matter.She grabbed a pair of cruches in the corner and limped out of the hospital towards Jakes house.It was silent and cold out in the night the thump of the cast hit the pavement ehcoed through the air.She scrambled to his house seeing the glowing orange lights in the window reasured her.She walked through the door "hello?"She whispered having no idea of what was happeneing

Angel heard Zane's talking to his father and quickly heaved Jake off of the ground. She half carried half dragged him down the stairs and out the door. "'Scuse me, Sunni," She grunted as she 'walked' him to her house a few blocks away. Finally, reaching her steps, she dropped him and ran inside. "Dad!" She called into the house. "Please help me!" Her father walked out the door, saw Jake, shook his head, and picked him up over his shoulders. "Looks like he got him good this time..." He noted as he laid him in the spare bedroom. Angel ran back to Zane's house and peeked in the doorway. She tried to catch Zane's eye by waving frantically behind his father's back. |
