Selene looked over where she could see Zane. Her facal ex
pression flashed for a second... She showed signs of being hurt and resentful towordcs her father.

But her face change back to fast for her father to see.

"Father... Keys." She said impatiently.

The gaurds had forced Aiden's head down so she couldn't see any thing but the ground...

"No thanks, I'll just let myself out," the man said, sadistically as he kicked the loose bar off, allowing him to slip through the bars, and use the large bar as a leathal weapon.  He quickly swirved to avoid any guards and made his was out of the door, and dashed for the closest exit.

"Now to find my fathers sword...." He muttered to himself, not sure if any guards were still behind.

The king slammed the ring of heavy bronze keys into his daughter's hand, and walked out of the basement, his plodding footsteps ringing through the hall.. "Give them back when I return!", he shouted down the stairs, his voice echoing off of the stone walls.

Zane groaned and looked up at the princess. "Selene, isn't that what your father called you?", he asked, his voice pained. He smiled ruefully, even though she could barely see his face from his contorted position. "There's not much chance of me escaping now, in my current condition."

(He didn't escape, I said to ignore the post, becasue he was going to break Zane out. xD)

The man chuckled, utterly amused.  "Well, as it appeared no one will let us out, how would you like a hand?"  He said, talkign to Zane, absolutely aware, yet seemingly oblivious to the girl.

"Get in be quiet." Selene said as she pointed to the guards to get them to push Aiden into a cell.

"Go get out, I have a problem to take care of." Selene growled to the guards. Before they could protest she glared at them and pointed out.

Once they were gone selene glared the the male talking to Zane.

"Leave him be..." She growled as she walked into Zane's cell.

"Don't talk... All you need to do is rest now." She smiled as she unlocked the shackles on Zane's neck and wrists.

She sturdied him as his body slid down the wall.

She looked at the otherf male. "Who are you and why did my father put you here?" She ordered, her face cold and obviously she wasn't in the mood for games.

Aiden glared at Selene. "Why don't you tell us why we're here princess." She sneered spitting the words princess and we're.

Selene ignored her.

Zane looked up at Selene, smiling softly, his eyes dull, and almost lifeless. His body was sore and battered, and would probably endure more torment before the day was out. But he still had one friend. And she was the princess of the land he was imprisoned in. The irony. 

"Thank you.", Zane said softly, placing his strawberry-covered hand gently on Selene's clean, perfectly-manacured one, "Regardless of what happens to me, I'll never forget your kindness."

*Eats*

"For those who have done nothing to me I will show my gratitude." Selene smiled, squeezing his hand slightly. Her bright blue eyes looking into his dull colored ones.

"He is so beautiful...." She thought with a grin.
