Zane's hand slid to his side after Selene squeezed it, and he thought, "I'm glad I at least get the chance to fall in love before my death. And I'm glad that it is with this girl, no, this princess, and not with one of the snobby, self-obsessed women from my kingdom." He sighed, his breath shaky. "Footsteps.", he said quietly, hearing a faint plinking as someome came down the stairs.

King Galin slowly came down the stairs, going to check up on his daughter. 

"I'll get you out tonight... I promis." She said and kised his cheeck before standing completetly up and walking out to her father. "Shall we go? It's time we take our ride." She smiled, making sure she didn't have any o the rotten fruit gook on her as she smiled at herfather.

She looked behind him to see though one of the small bared windows. "Father?" She smiled and waited for his responce... She always did seem to like taking the afternoon ride with her fathe, just the two of them riding with their horses though the forest... No maids, servents.... A time where Selene could relax and collect her thoughts.

"Yes, of course, that's why I came to get you, Selene.", King Galin said, gently hugging his daughter. He had been unable to completely decend the stairs, so he hadn't seen that Zane had been released from his bindings.

Zane smiled at Selene as she left, his cheek tingling where she had kissed him. But he was unsure if he'd have the strength to escape that night, and even if he did get out, he'd feel guilty for leaving the other two.

"Zane... Get up..." Selene said in a low voice as she unlocked his cell.

((Huh. DX I guess I'll post, than...))

Zane stirred and looked up at Selene. "Hey.", he said softly, smiling, "Time to go?"

"Yes... I'm not sure where to yet.... but the kingdom border is only a few leagues from here...." Selene said as she looked at Zane, making sure he was still un chained.

"Can you walk ok for now? And can you ride?" She asked with a bit of concern... The questions may have seen random, but to her they weren't.

Aiden looked up at Zane and Selene. Being she was not the same "rank" or prisoner Zane was, she wasn't shackled to the wall.

"If you don't mind me asking, do you have a place to hide out?" She asked as she looked at the two of them. Her voice was low, tired and slightly groggy.

Selene's bright blue eyes went from Zane to Aiden. "Why would it matter to you?" She said with a slight growl. "You are a meer wonderer... Not belonging to any kingdom, as you claim, so how can I trust you? How do I know you wont come back to my father and tell him where we are?" She questioned.

Aiden felt slightly hurt... Selene didn't know her, that was true, but to judge her without giving a second thought, Aiden felt was wrong...

Selene looked at Aiden ,her eyes demanding an answer even though she didn't say it out loud.

"My kingsom was destroyed during the battles of your and his kingdom's...  My family slaughtered because we didn't befriend either side.... My kingdom chose peace of a jealous war...." She thought to herself... The huirt wasw obvious on her face as she looked down at the ground instread of meeting Selene's gaze as she normaly would have done.

"I should be able to...", Zane said sofly, struggling to his feet. He was barely up for a minute before collapsing to the ground, panting and sweating. "Or not.", he breathed, cringing at the pain running down his spine.

Selene looked at Zane. "Use me to help you move..." She said as she looked at him. Then she looked back at Aiden.

"If you swear your allegence, then I'll help you out..." selene said sternly.

"I wouldn't tell any way... But fine." Aiden growled.

"Swear it." Selene growled.

"Oh great princss of Niadris, I gie to you my servesses. In sickness I will devote my life to finding a cure. In battle I will lay down my life to thee. In heath I will hoonor and cheerish that which you give and or have given to me." Aiden said, holding back all sarcastic tons she wanted to throw in.

"Good. No wonderer, can you ride a horse?" Selene said.

"Yes, and my name is Aiden." She growled, she hated with went people called her by something other than her name... It always sounded demeaning....

"Good." Selene said as she walke out of Zane's cell, took the keys from under the black cloak she was wearing and unlocked her cell.

"No, help me get Zane onto Nyx, the black mare right outside." Selene said as she walked back to Zane.

"No time.", Zane said, before struggling onto the horse's back. "Let's ride.", he said, taking the horse's reins into his hands, admiring the Stallion's sparkling white coat. He patted his stallion on the neck gently, cringing as he inserted his feet into the stirrups.

((Erubus. XD Sorry, I forgot to change the other one. XD))

Selene sighed and got onto Nyx. her solid black cloak flew out behind her as nyx started to run.

"Come to the gates, I'll meet you there!" Selene yelled before she was out of earshot.

"Interesting woman ya goth there." Aiden laughed as she manovered Apollo next to Erubus.

"My lord." A young maid said as she walked to the doorframe of the room King Galin was in. She bowed her head to him then looked up at him. The ex
pression on her face was one of deep worry. her tone was shaky, and as worry filled as her face.

"Yes, what is it?", Galin asked, looking up from his desk at the maid, stress lining his face.

Zane nodded, digging his heels into Erubus's flank and ushering his horse foreward at a canter. "C'mon!", he called to Aiden and Apollo as he began to catch up with Selene.
