Selene took a turn, loosing Zane. She sooncame to the stables, a few oil lanters were there along with a few small saddle bags. Selene jumped off Nyx and hurridly grabbed the items. "Run Nyx, we must hurry." Selene said as she made a low clicking noice with her mouth. Nyx started at a fast run, jumping over the coral fences and headed for the gates. ~~~~ "Come this way. She said she'd meet us there." aiden said, remembering the small side road to the main gates. ~~~~ "My lord... Selene... Selene is... She's gone my lord!" The maid said, tears instently streaming from her eyes. |

"WHAT!", the king bellowed, angry, "Find her at once, or you shall all be punished!" He stood, the papers flying from his desk. Zane nodded, changing his path slightly to follow Aiden. |

"Sir, we've seartched the castle... She is not here my lord. The guards only listen to you. They must seartch the grounds." she said, tears running down her face more rapidly.
Suddenly another person charged in. "MY LORD! THE PRISONERS ARE GONE!" he said as he looked at the king.
"Thayodyn is dead my lord! He was killed while watching the dungeon." He added.

As soon as Aiden and Zane were a meer few feet away from the main gates, Selene ran infront if them.
"Nyx, use all you can to break it open." She said to her mare.
Nyx the lifted up onto her back legs and started hitting the metal locks on the large gate to open it.
"Get Apollo and Erubus to do the same... We're running out of time!" Selene said as she managed to stay on the thrashing mare's back.
Aiden manouvered Apollo next to Nyx, only he started bucking and slamming his hind hoofs into the gate.
Aiden tried to calmly keep onto the stallion's back, but was barely managing it.

Zane nodded as his horse began to immitate Nyx, clicking his tounge softly to encourage it. "Well, tell them I sent you! Don't wast more time than you already have! Zane probably escaped and kidnapped Selene. He must be found!", The king shouted, his face red, "He will not leave this kingdom alive." |

"WHO'S OUT THERE!!!" Yelled a gaurd as he started to run towords the three of them. "Darn... Come one! this way! Hurry!" Selene said as she started to move Nyx into the fastest run possible. A low light from her oil lantern light the way, helping Aiden and Zane see here and helping her see where she was going. Aidne shook her head and did the sane as Selene. ~~~ The two of them left the room, and started running outside. All the guards had already mobilized and started going to the main gates. |

The king followed his guards, barking orders, and being a general nucince to all who were not military men. Zane whipped the reins, forcing his mount to gallop as quickly as possible, keeping on Aiden's heels. |

"Through that spot!" Selene said as she jumped over sevefral hedges, clearing the jumps perfectly. "Si! They're headed to the thicket!" One man yelled. "The thicket?!? People who go in there never return..." a guard muttered. |

Zane's horse cleared the fence and galloped after Nyx. He grinned, and sighed. They were free.

"Don't look now... But the cavalry has come!" Aiden yelled.
"Just keep running!" Selene yelled back. The cold air hit her face like a thousand little needles boaring themselves into her skin.
"We can't get caught... We just can't..." Selene muttered as she looked behind her for a split second, then kept going.

~The following Day~
"Zane... Aiden... Wake up..." Selene said as she walked into the room of the small cabin the three of them slept in last night.
"Horses are fed and ready to go.... I found food for us... But we need to hurry before my father's troops catch up..." She said as she walked over to the "window".
"So who has the next destination in mind?" Aiden asked. "Zane, you'r father would welcome you back with open arms right?" She asked.

((They are all heathy so far. Nyx, the mom, is doing fine. She gave birth to five little kitties. ^_^)) All was quiet for a few long moment. "Go to your father.... We can hide umongst the town people... I can change how I look, they wont know me... And no one knows Aiden..." Selene said, some what trailing off. "Or you could go up to your father, bring Selene,,, And maybe your father will see that she helped you get out of the dungeon alive and in one peace." Aiden said with a smile. |

"Well, maybe he's changed..... Every one thinks your dead by now, I'm guessing... So maybe in light of your return, he had a change of heart..." Aiden smiled.
"I don't think it matters where we go... But we need to get going... But we do need to know a safe place where we are not going to be hunted..." Selene said, still looking out the window.
