"We can try it I suppose...." Aien muttered. "Now is not the time for I suppose. We need to go. NOW." Selene said as she walked out of the cabin and went over to her black mare. "Come on old friend, we ride West." She said as she adjusted the saddle and bridle on the mare, then mounted. ((I think soon they should be forced to go to Zane's father.... So we can get further into the plot...)) |

Zane mounted his horse, ignoring the sharp pain in his back. "Well, I'm ready as I'll ever be.", he said, his voice cracking slightly on the first word.

"Sorry I can't buy to for you to rest.... But knowing my father, he wont rest until I'm back hime... He'd never understand..." Selene muttered and gently kicked Nyx in the flank with her heel, making the mare start moving.
Aiden said nothing as she did the same with Apollo.

Zane gently squeezed his heels against his horse's sides, whipping the reins as the male began to slowly walk forewards. "It's okay.", he said softly, so that only Selene could hear, "I'm used to it."

"Oh no...", Zane said, shaking his head, brown eyes growing wide. It was just after the trio had entered town, but bad luck had already befallen them. Knights from Zane's kingdom were patrolling the streets, fully armed. And several of them had spotted Zane, and were running twoards him, grins on their tired faces.
"We've been searching for days!" one of them cried out, happy to see the prince, "And you've even managed to capture the enemy princess!"
"But that's not what-"
"Yes!" another said, "Our general is the strongest of all time! When the king sees your captive, we will feast for days!"

"A snippy prisoner, you are!" the first soldier commented, scowling.
"She's not a-"
"Sir, come with me, you look horrible. Let's get you some fresh clothes.", the second man said, leading Zane's horse away before he could protest.

Both Aiden and Selene's eyes narrowed at the men from Zane's father's kingdom.
"For him being your captain, you sure don't listen very well." Selene growled, Aiden looked at her wide eyed.
Selene then looked at Zane, not sure whether she should let them take her, or give them a run for their money.

Zane looked back ar Selene and Aiden, angry at himself for leading them into a trap. He made his decision than and there. "Do not take them." he growled, looking at the men advancing twoards the two with several long bits of rope.
"Oh, have you decided to switch sides? If so, we'd be glad to aprehend you as well." the first guard said, turning twards Zane.
"I am on no side....", he whispered, swiping a soldier's sword and pointing it at the others, "Let us leave or you all die."

Selene glared at all of then, her look softend when she looked at Zane.
"Are you too blind to see that this war is pointless?!?!" She said. Her tone was one of anger and rage, but she was not yelling. She projected her voice well, enabling any one around her to hear her.
"Besides, you people should be greatful that Selene saved you're princes's butt. If she hadn't, by this time today, he'd be dead!"Aiden growled...
For two girls in a man dominated world, oddly they weren't afraid to say what was one their minds... At least Selene wasn't any more...

"What should we do, than?", the guards muttered amongst themselves. They shrugged, before sheathing their weapons. "If you come with us, we will not harm you, but offer you a warm bath and clean beds. Not to mention a decent meal. The King will want to hear this tale."
