Ayumu napped silently in the top of a trees canopy. She slept, her breathing came out as tiny rainbow fire. Her wings covered her slim body and arched slightly backwards. Her tail curled smoothly around her paws. Suddenly, Ayumu opened her eyes quickly and stood up. She flapped her wings and flew to another canopy. She watched the scorching sun beam down on her body. The sun made her look like a nearby rainbow that had had just came out of nowhere. She sighed and climbed down to the forest floor. She walked slowly, eyeing the holes underground. She peeked down in one hole and looked toward a family of rabbits. She smiled and said," Im not gonna eat you guys." The family of rabbits relaxed and nuzzled Ayumu. Ayumu lifted her head up and kept walking deeper into the forest.

(UPDATE ON BIO!Name is Noctis)
Noctis woke up stretched his wings and looked out. He could see the forest from here. He lazily walked over to the running water that trickled into his cave he drank some of it and looked at the half-eaten rabbit. He nudged it out of his cave and watched it drop millions of feet until he heard the soft thud. He flew down as fast as he could and found the rabbit easily. His wing was sore so he dropped on the floor and silently walked around. He tried to fly again but it was way too sore. He cursed, he should of known to not fly so fast without doing his morning stretches. Noctis had a problem with his wings. Noctis walked around, stretched and was soon able to fly again. He flew back to his cave and sat down. He was bored so he flew over to the lake. He folded his wings and soon was under water searching for a snack. He saw a big salmon and dived in and quickly dragged it out. The salmon was young and tasty. He then flew back to his cave, and hoped he would soon find a friend.

Shadow waited until she saw one of the larger buffalo stray from the herd and then pounced into the air. Her tail whipped the air and a loud cracking sound made the herd begin to flee,but Shadow kept her eye on the large,strong male she had spotted and realized he was also still young and foolish enough to run in the other direction his herd ran. She went up higher and higher into the air until she was at cloud level and then tucked her wings close to her body. Only a few feet from the ground and in front of her prey her wings unfolded and she landed with a loud thud,creating a puff of snow. Then creature she had targeted began to wheel around,but her tail lashed out again and hit one of its legs with so much forced that the bones shattered. It let out a distressed noise before falling to the ground in shock. 'Pity such a strong animal would go down like this.',thought Shadow as she stalked over to the creature. Inches from it she wrapped her tail around its torso and rose the scared creature into the air many yards up before flinging him and watching him crash to the ground a good ways away.
Once near the creature again she saw it struggling to cling to life and decided it was worthy enough to be killed now instead of played with more. She bit into the soft flesh of its neck and crushed its throat,causing an instant death. She then gave off her unpracticed,terrifying smile and grabbed the beast with her tail before dragging it to less deep snow to eat.

Storm glided through the air, whirling and spinning with joy through the clouds. He glanced down and saw another dragon, a black and red female as slim as a shadow hacking away at a buffalo. He soared down and alit behind her, growling menacingly, and she whipped around. His tail lashed angrily as he growled "Why are you here?"

Shadow was in the middle of taking the fur off of the buffalo when she
heard something behind her. She turned around,readying herself to attack
when she saw what was behind her. A large male black as night with silver mixed in stood behind her. From how he looked and acted she could tell he was younger than her by a good amount and kept herself tense and ready or a fight. Then it asked her a question which she responded to with,"I'm hunting,what else would I be doing?" She wrapped her tail back around her kill and brought it in close,not wanting the male to try stealing it. "Why are you here?",she repeated his question to him.

Noctis flew over to the forest and glided high in the sky until coming down slowly. He hummed and found some mountain sheep, he quickly killed one. He ate it, nice and juicy. He then saw a beautiful dragon. He hesitated behind the plants, licked his lips and stumbled past. "Oh, helloe there!" Noctis said, "The name's Noctis, yours?" he put his tail out so they could shake tails. (Wise talking to your dragon! So there is no confusion)

"I live around here" Storm answered. "I'm Storm. Sorry for the trouble, it's just that a few years ago, a male came in and took my nest, and I don't want a repeat of that" he grinned at her, and almost melted the snow blushing. Good thing my scales are black :) he thought, then gestured around to the herd around him. "I see you've caught your meal, so excuse me while I go catch mine. Wait for me, ok? I'd like to get to know you."

Ayumu looked at the male and gave him the stare, but then smile barely. "Im Ayumu, which mean dream is Japanese. And we don't shake in Japan, we bow." Ayumu bowed and pushed his tail away with hers. "You shouldn't be eating my friends. Im friends with all forest life, and when I kill my friends, I blessed their souls to heaven, understand?" Ayumu growled and walked around him. "It was nice meeting you though."

Shadow listened silently to the male's request and then replied with,"I'm not going anywhere just yet,so I guess I could wait on you." She then turned back to the buffalo and continued to skin it. 'The perfect fur for my nest. Soft and warm to the touch.',she thought as she finally got the fur off and laid it off to the side to carry with her later. She then began to eat the delicious meat of her prey. 'I wonder what that male wants to know me for?',she asked herself in her mind.

Noctis gave a quick bow and said sorry. "I would love to see you again!" Noctis liked this dragon. He flew away happily and went to sleep quickly.

Storm flew up, pushing the female dragon to the corner of his mind for a while. Scanning the snowy grasslands below him, he quickly picked out a yearling buffalo calf, and shot downwards, killing it with a quick sharp bite. He didn't believe in needless pain and suffering in his prey. He picked it up in his claws and flew back towards the female. Landing softly behind her, he dragged the carcass up next to her and started eating. Through a mouthful of meat he asked, "So, who are you, anyways?"

Ayumu looked back and gave a witnessed smile. She rarely smiled, and her forest friends knew that. She whistled loudly to call them and soon their was a years supply of fur and meat everywhere. She smiled brightly at them and layed down to slumber.

Noctis woke up early and wen down to the lake. He caught a salmon and ate it quickly. He swam for a bit and then flew over to the forest. He went to the same spot that he had met Ayumu. He sat down and thought if she would come here. He daydreamed while he waited.

Shadow raised her snout from the stomach of the buffalo and licked her lips before replying with, " I'm Shadow. What name do you go by?" She then stuck her snout back into the carcasses stomach and began to eat, but continued to look at the male with her eyes. He seemed interesting to her and she decided she would like to have a small conversation with him, if she talked all that much between bites. She wouldn't trust him just yet though, so she kept her guard up while she ate.

"I'm Storm" he said. He liked this dragon, with her scar over her right eye and her long whip-like tail, and her obsidian looking scales. He didn't know why. There was just something about her, something he didn't know how to describe. Her turned back to his food, and tore into it. The sun was setting, so he turned back to her and said "I hear it's supposed to be a clear night tonight. I'll be out on that mountaintop staring at the stars, if you need me for anything, or if you want to join me, then you know where I'll be."

Ayumu woke up and gave a big yawn. She looked around and saw that her furry friends were gone. She sighed and grumbled under her breathe. "I hope that male dragon didn't scare them... and decided to kill and eat one of them." She growled loudly, filling every ounce of her body with anger. She ran after him, until she finally found him sitting down. Suddenly, she felt a rush of joy consume her. She looked at him and tried to growl, but only purrs came out. "Why are you here?", she looked down and blushed, cursing slightly under her breathe.

"Alright then, Storm. I may see you tonight when I go on my nightly flight.", Shadow replied and then continued eating her food until it was just bones with a small amount of meat here and there. She tossed the fur of the creature over her back and stretched out her wings. Flicking the silver silk off of her eye she looked to the sky and prepared herself to take off. Her tail stretched out and then wrapped around her torso, securing the animal skin to her back before she glanced at Storm again, waiting to see if the young male wanted to say anything else before she left.

Seeing the female preparing herself for flight, he said, "Bye". He wanted to say more, but that's all that came out. He skinned the calf's hide and picked it up in his talons, then rose from the ground and soared off into the night sky towards his cave. He reached the entrance and ducked inside, feeling the sudden rush of heat from the stream of lava that ran through his home. Adding the skin to an ever growing pile of them, he retreated into his den room, a smaller adjoining cavern connected to his cave by a small tunnel. There, he curled up and went to bed, still thinking of Shadow.
He woke up a few hours later, and climbed out of his den into the deep snow. he took off and soared towards his mountaintop to watch the stars. He glided over the icy crest of the mountain and flipped over, flying on his back, looking up at the silvery stars shining with their icy light.
