Shadow nodded her head once and then took off into the sky at an amazing speed towards her mountain cave home. She landed and walked inside the crystal lit cave. Going through the many different tunnels in the mountain that were part of her cave she went into a large 'room' of her cave and up to the warm fur pile that was her nest. She put the fur on top of the pile and then laid down in the nest to sleep the few hours she slept each day. Once she woke up she went through the labyrinth of tunnels and back to her cave entrance to look out into the volcano illuminated darkness of the night. She unfolded her wings as she exited the cave and slowly carried herself into the sky for her nightly flight.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Storm dipped and dodged imaginary opponents, spinning and looping in the night sky. The silver light of the stars illuminated the snow and his silver bits, throwing off reflections like a mirror. He swerved and dove down, then at the last second opened his wings and skimmed the mountaintop, shedding snow in his wake. He looped around the mountain once more, then settled on an icy cliff overlooking the valley below him, and the volcano straight across the valley. He tipped his head back and looked up at the stars once more. All was calm and at peace as he started to sing a lament to the moon. The notes seemed to travel up and up, spiraling through the frosty air and filling the valley with a mysterious sound.

As Shadow glided through the cold air of her habitat she saw the male from earlier acting much like a hatchling diving and prancing about in the sky. She slowly glided by him when he finally landed and didn't dare interrupt his song. Listening to what he sung her gliding slowed just a bit more and she almost quit flapping her wings all together as she tried to catch every sound to the song.

Storm sung out his heart to the cold, desolate moon. The notes just streamed out, an unrepeated melody that somehow harmonized with the silent night. When his song was over, he ducked his head, bowing to the night, and turned, heading back to his cave. He trudged wearily through the thick snow, watching a few lonely snowflakes drift lazily down from the sky. His breaths came out as short puffs of steam in the frigid midnight air, deep and strong, lungs scorched with the cold. He spread his wings and started to take flight when he noticed the female drifting gracefully a few yards away, and stopped in surprise. "You came?" he said in surprise.

Shadow heard the song end and began to glide down for a landing near her cave when the male named Storm noticed her and spoke. She stopped and began flapping her wings more frequently to stay in one place in the air and replied, " I thought I heard something and decided to figure out what it was. When I noticed it was you I decided to stay until you finished." Her wing beats stirred the falling snowflakes into a spiraling shape and she quietly waited for the male to reply.

"Oh... ummm... ok?" he said, looking down, embarrassed. He took flight, and flew towards her, finally gliding beside her. Diving suddenly, he grabbed a squirrel from the ground and offered it to her. "Are you hungry?"

Shadow silently examined his behavior until she was offered the squirrel. " You caught it. Thus it is your food and I cannot take it.", she replied quietly and then added, " But if your sure you don't want it then I guess I could take it." She kept flapping her wings to stay in place and rested her tail in her back talons to keep it from hanging and being a target for anything.

"I'm not very hungry" Storm replied, and coasted down the mountain to a flat mesa. He looked expectantly up at her, waiting for her to come down and eat.

Shadow silently followed him by diving just enough to help her to quickly travel toward the ground, but not so much that she would land loudly. Once inches from the ground her wings went out and she lightly landed on the ground. Carefully she took the squirrel and ate it in only a few bites. She slowly looked back up at the male and smiled her silver toothed smile.

He grinned back, then gestured at the fur lying on the ground. "You can have that one if you like. I have many more at home" He dipped his head and glanced over at his cave. "It's getting late, and I better get going," he said. "My cave's over there, if you need me for anything"

Noctis was happy to see she had came. "I promise I didn't eat any of your friends, I didn't know about your friend the other day. I am really sorry. I came here hoping I was going to see you." It was Noctis turn to blush and look down. He heard her purr and looked at her giving a purr as well. "Want to go for a fly?" he asked casually.

"Sure....." Ayumu flapped her wings and took flight quickly resting on the canopy for a short while. She yawned and took out the air again,going higher than before. She raced around a cloud, swirling it until it was nothing. Ayumu smiled look at her claws, which were shining brightly in the sunlight since she cleaned them earlier. She looked down at the male and frowned. "It's getting lonely up here." She teased.
((Plus, spirit. Care to be joining me in MineCraft some time? It would really make my day. But it will take a while for me to get back on the computer, I'm grounded from the computer until school is over but I can get on when spring break comes around)) |

(I would love playing with you! ^.^ Spring break sounds like a great time! Plus I may only be able to play around that time anyway.)
Shadow nodded and then walked off to go to her cave and carve the walls until morning.
Once morning came around Shadow went back through her labyrinth cave and out the mouth of it and into the sunlight morning. She could see dots in the sky that she assumed were other dragons messing about,but didn't really care. Glad she had gotten more carving done in her cave.

Storm awoke upside down. This wasn't unusual though. He had been having a dream. In his dream, a black and red dragon was soaring up into the stars but when she came down, she wasn't a dragon anymore. Instead, she was a silvery white bird. Storm yawned and walked out of his cave. He wasn't one for interpreting dreams, anyways. The valley spread out below him, the skies bright and blue, surprisingly. He made out two shapes flying in the distance. They looked like birds. His stomach grumbled and he took off aiming for the two birds in the distance. As he neared them, though, he realized they were not birds, but dragons! He soared closer, watching them intensely.

Ayumu looked away in the distance and saw another dragon. She growled and sighed softly. Ayumu always thought two male dragons started trouble. She flew closer and saw another dragon, this time a female. She smiled slightly and took the path of death. She flew softly toward the two dragons, passing by the male. She flew right infront of the cave and dared not to set foot in it. "H-Hi...."

"Hey!" Storm said. "Who are you?" His black scales gleamed like obsidian in the late morning sun, and he tipped his head forward and shot a blaze of flames down at the ground. Looking up, he saw that the female was actually very pretty. She shone like a rainbow, colors dancing up and down her pearl-like white body. His glare softened, and repeated his question in a softer tone. "Who are you?"

"Thank you. Yours are very pretty too" Storm said as he hovered in front of her. "They look like a rainbow" he finally admitted out loud, ducking his head so she wouldn't see that he was blushing. Then he nodded to the male floating a little whiles away. "Who's He?"

Noctis upset that she had flown away. Silently he flew back to his cave and sat down. He thought about Ayumu for a while and then lay down and day dreamed.
