Plot: A biological weapons was released in America, the fallout spreading across over a dozen states, killing millions. The remaining survivors factor in at only one hundred, perhaps one hundred and fifty. The lucky seven to not have been visually disfigured or mutated were embued with strange abilities. These 'powers' were mainly of the arcane or elemental type, control over things such as electricity, fire, water etc. Some of these outcasts believe that their powers are for helping people, using them only for good and when needed, there are a few that believe they are for their own personal gain, and of course there are a few that are not particularly bothered on what they are for, they just want to use them when needed. These arcanely blessed are on the hunt for pieces of the weapon, in hope they can put it back together and discover the source of the transformation, to see if they can be cured - or made more powerful. Rules: 1) No powerplaying - No controlling other's characters, this one's a biggy. 2) No Godmodding - No making your character all powerful and unbeatable, also important, going against this will reult in you being kicked. 3) No taking too much control of the Roleplay - Although I will respect you as fellow RP'ers, this will still be my RP and I appreciate being in control. 4) To prove you have read these rules post the name 'Cole Macgrath' before your bio. Bio Skelly: Name: Age: Gender: Opinion on what the powers are for (Good, evil, neutral): Appearance(Image or detailed deion): Personallity: History: Other Details(If any):

Name: Jonah Heart Age: Late twenties Gender: Male Opinion of powers: Neutral Appearance: Personallity: Jonah is naturally uncaring, whenever there is a disagreement he will usually avoid being pulled into it, if if he did have a strong opinion on it - which was rare. He finds it easy to get along with most, mainly saying what is on his mind which few took offensive, though the majority respected him for it. He is quite the energetic type, always a big fan of any sport that involved breaking a sweat or a lot of movement. History: Jonah worked in a record store when the bomb hit, being one of the closest to the device to have survived and not to have been visually affected - the initial detenation having happened right outside the store. He was made an orphan at age eight, his parents died in a car accident while he was at a sleepover. He has one sibling, a sister, whom he never see's and now fears he may never see again. Other Details(If any): When not far enough to use his more ranged preferences, he uses an old metal police baton he had stolen after the disaster, which he charges with electricity to cause maximum damage.

She has quite an intimidating air about her, and she likes to stare people down until they look away when they annoy her. History: She was an only child, and her parents wanted to make sure she was protected. Due to this, she is trained in several forms of close combat, as well as being trained in several arms, guns and blades alike. Jonah was sprinting down streets and alleyways, his arms cracking with his new-found electrical powers. They had dragged him out from the rubble and he had been in a hospital for days. He had awoken with a bang, the initial surge of his abilities destroying the room he was in, paper documents burning, the walls in piles of debris. He had jumped from the hole that was previously a window on instinct, surviving the fall without so much as a twinge of pain. He had fled as quickly as his feet would carry him, which was at least twice as fast as before. Stopping outside the door to his apartment block, he looked behind himself, making sure he hadn't been followed. He looked down the road, the shop he had been working in was a good twelve blocks away from the apartment, though the radius of the blast had stopped halfway through the building next door to his. Realising he did have his keys, he got a neighbour to buzz him through the front door, and forced the door to his apartment. He acted quickly, pulling on a black pair of combat trousers and a T-Shirt, the body white and the sleeves black. He sat on his bed, his head in his hands, trying to think back to what had happened. "Jonah! You in here?!" the manager of the shop who had just returned from his lunch was digging through the rubble in search for his only employee. Jonah's hand was visible in between large pieces of masonry. "Heart!" After digging for a good few minutes, the tall man in a well-tailored suit pulled Jonah from the rubble and rushed him to an ambulance. He looked as the man opened his eyes, the iris of both had changed from their previous green to a bright blue. Jonah snapped back to the present, once again deciding he should be on the move, grabbing his leather jacket that was made to fit well, black and white to go with his shirt. He pulled on a black pair of trainers and moved back towards the front door. An oddly dressed man appeared on the frame, around 5'5'' in height, no giant. "Where do you think you're goin, Mr Heart? After all our careful work, you running off is not in our best interests." Jonah panicked, taking two steps back before his arms sprang to life, lightning beginning to surround them both. The man looked unimpressed, just nodding slightly. "Electricity, we were hoping for at least one of you." Jonah cursed foully, before throwing hsi arms forward, the energy arcing from him and shooting into the man's chest and stomach, electrifying him thouroughly, leaving him in a crumpled, smoking mess on the floor.

[[Sorry.>.<]] Saph woke up, and began coughing. The room she was in suddenly took on an eerie silver luster, and she realized it was coming from her. Shaking her head, she stood up, and the ground beneath her feet began to shake, the rubble around her collapsing and crumpling even more. What on earth...? Walking over to the doorway, she peeped through the looking hole of her apartment before opening the door. The sleek black leather jeans she was wearing reflected any light, and her jacket was turned up at the collar. She heard a noise, and a man ran at her. Without thinking, she shot her arms out in front of her. The man collapsed, ice in his hair, his body frozen solid. She heard a slight, grusome crack as his head hit the floor, but ignored it. She instead ran, her feet barely touching the floor as she glided effortlessly over the debris. She was always athletic, but this was... phenomonal. It wasn't natural. That blast... that blast had done something to her, and she didn't know what. All she knew was that it was frightening and exhilerating, all at the same time. The door in front of her was blocked by flames, so she skirted around, jumping through a crack in the wall a foot wide that led into the next building. In there, she saw a man with electric blue eyes and another man in a smoking heap on the floor. Tilting her head to the side for a single, silent moment, looking at him, she wondered if he had been the one to do that. Without thinking further, she ran in the opposite direction, headed out of the building.

Jonah lurched for a moment after killing the intruder, falling to his knees and holding his side. He once again relied on his new instincts, realising they'd brought him this far, he grasped a main's plug and concentrated, allowing himself to be electrocuted. After standing, smoke billowing from the shoulders of his jacket, he looked behind him, noticing a girl hopping into his apartment from hers. He recognised her, he'd seen her around a few times. Charging his right arm incase she was another one of... Whatever the last man was, he kept his eye on her, allowig the charge to drop as he saw her head for the front door. He jogged to catch up with her, offering an uncharged hand to her with a smirk, "The name's Jonah, I take it you've been turned into a walking freak show as well?" Raising his other hand, he sparked white lightning between each of the fingers to show her what he meant. "It's got to be something to do with that freakin' blast, that's the last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital, and I hardly remember anything about that other than my manager finding me." Stopping, he felt a disturbance in the air, looking over to the woman he'd only recently worked up the courage to speak to. "There's people out there... Don't know how many... Listen, stay and fight our way through or run to fight another day it's your choice, but I need to know now whether you're going to have my back." Charging both arms, he preparedfor whatever was coming.

Saph turned to him as he spoke to her, her hand wavering from the door. When the electricity danced between his fingers, she knew he was responsible for the smking mess on the floor. He was right, though. If she left, she was as good as dead. Sure, she'd handled one, but what would she do with hundreds of people, all out for her blood? What could she do? Not much, to say the least. Jonah... The name wasn't familiar, but the boy was. She'd seen him around a couple of times, though she couldn't remember where. ''Is it called running away when a snake retreats to allow its venom to fester? For that's what I'll be doing when I leave. And I find the term 'walking freak show' degrading, but yes. I will have your back.'' Thinking for a moment after that, she headed in the opposite direction, to the back door. ''I'm Saph, by the way.'' She threw over her shoulder, holding her arm out in front of her for a moment. She concentrated, and ice droplets slithered down her fingertips like water, forming into a tiny, miniature man. Looking at it for a moment, she turned around and held it up to Jonah, before crushing it between her fingers, letting the shards fall to the floor with a slight clatter.

He smirked at her slightly when she said about his words being degrading, shrugging lightly before speaking, "Might be degrading but it's not as if I'm only talking about you, there are at least two of us, possibly more." Grabbing his rucksack, he clipped it around him and looked to the woman, "I'm going to attack them from the front, they'll just follow us if we run, skirt round back and get them while they're not looking, I doubt I'll last too long otherwise." Sending the charge from his arms to his legs, he sprinted and hopped, rather effortlessly, dropkicking the double doors leading to the carpark, sending shards of wood soaring into the small army that had gathered outside. He stood, dusting himself off, "Oh, i could get used to this." He cursed as they opened fire towards him, causing him to leap behind a lump of concrete that ahd fallen from one of the now ruined buildings. He looked to his side, noticing a stream of water, leading up to the feet of three or four men. "Oh god please let this work." He placed the tips of three fingers in the water, gritting against the pain as the water became buzzing with electricty, killing the group instantaneously. He held his arm against his body, ducking lower as a hail of bullets from the remaining seven or eight strangely dressed people hit the concrete he was using as cover. "C''mon Saph... I could really use that help right about now."

Saph ran as fast as she could, which just to say, was insanely fast. She ran around the back of them, and ran up the fire escape of a house, standing inside for a moment. She glanced out the window, seeing the concrete block, and the men opening fire on it. She cursed, knowing Jonah would be behind it. Taking a deep breath, she smashed through the window, just as several more men ran out from a few nearby houses. She raised her arms, and her eyes glowed, her fingertips taking on a ghoulish mist around them. Screaming at the men in front, a hundred icy, razor sharp shards were sent flying forward as fast as bullets. A few hit the concrete block Jonah was behind, but most hit their mark. All the men in front fell, but there were still all the men behind her, and that had taken a lot out of her. She bent over slightly, trying to catch her breath. The men loaded their guns, and began firing just as she started running for cover somewhere. One of the bullets caught her in the leg, just between the hip and the knee, and she limped slightly as she kept running. Ducking behind a collapsed building, she glanced across, and could now see Jonah clearly. She gave him the thumbs up, showing she was ok, even as she leaned heavily on the wall in front of her.

Jonah chuckled drily as he heard screams of agonising pain come from the men that had opened fore on him so readily. "Next time maybe don't pick on the freaks." Jonah hissed as bullets started flying again, but this time not towards him. He looked around and spotted Saph sprinting for cover, wincing slightly as he saw a bullet hit her leg. Once he saw her thumbs up, he nodded in acknowledgement, looking around for something he could use. He grabbed a metal pole, putting a charge through it to ensure it conducted. "God I hope this works." He moved as fast as he could, placing a foot on the concrete block and flinging himself through the air, throwing the pole, impaling the left thigh of one of the men as he did so. The electricity in the pole ran through the rest of the man's body and quickly put an end to him. He let himself into a backward roll in order to avoid the bullets of the three remaining men, leaping through the air, he grabbed two by the face, putting all the energy he had left into ending them as painfully as possible. He snarled as a knife bit into his left arm, about 6 inches above the elbow. He kicked backwards, getting the man square in the chest and knocking him backwards. Sprinting to were Saph was, he dove behind the cover she was using, smirking sarcastically at her, "Y'know... We're really going to have to think of a more efficient way of doing this." He gritted his teeth and grasped a power line that ran by his feet, once again recharging himself as he pulled the knife free. He handed it to his new partner, gesturing with his head, "He's all yours."

Saph leaned her head out across the building, smiling evilly as Jonah put a grusome end to almost all of the men. When he sprinted back to her, she did a slight smirk before standing straight again. At least, as straight as she could get, what with a bullet in her leg. ''Much obliged, Jonah, but I won't be needing that.'' She said, stepping cooly out into the open. She did a small smile at the remaining man, before spreading her arms out and splaying her fingers wide. Muttering a few curses under her breath, she sent spears of ice shooting from each fingertip, every one hitting its mark. When that was done, the man was on the floor, not quite dead yet. He looked more porcupine than man, but Saph wasn't finished just yet. She stepped up to him, shook her head in disgust, and put one foot on his chest between to spears of ice, before whispering softly, ''Next time, don't mess with myself, or my friends.'' With that, she gripped his throat, freezing his windpipe. He suffocated on shards of ice as she walked away. Limping slightly, she stood in front of Jonah, leaning a little on the concrete of the wall. ''I agree. Too much risk this way.''

Jonah absorbed a little more electricity, the slight overload healing the wound to his shoulder. He walked over to Saph as she put an end to the man, stretching his arm, happy with the results of his new healing. "Glad to hear you count me as a friend." Walking over to one of the less singed, less impaled bodies, he began going through his pockets, producing what looked like a work I.D. "Hm, well never even heard of this place... Bionet?" He handed it to Saph, not to up on recent corporations or news himself. That was when a boy, no older than fifteen or sixteen ran up to Jonah, stopping two feet away. "Um... A man... The man told me what you can do, told me to say that if you don't stop killing his men and come quietly you can expect more force." Jonah smirked lightly, looking over at his shoulder at Saph, "What do you want to do? Go along with this and get them unawares? Or just keep running?" Images started flashing through his mind, death, destruction, on an unimaginable scale. He grasped his head in his hands and fell to his knees, gritting his teeth, it was unbearable, the pain was un believable, though nothing in comparison to the intensity of the images.

''Um... No, never heard of it.'' Saph replied, gritting her teeth. Oh, how she envied his new found ability at healing himself. Unless they went to the north pole, though, it looked like that ability would remain his and his alone. Seeing the boy come up, she got in as best a defensive position as she could. ''Jonah? Are you alright?'' Saph asked, falling to her knees next to him, ignoring the rubble on the floor. She stood up again, albeit awkwardly. ''What have you done to him?'' She asked, baring her teeth slightly in a silent snarl, and leaning into the boy. She formed an icy spear in one hand, ready to penetrate it deep into the kids chest at the slightest of moevements. ''Tell this so called man, to stop being a coward and come face us.'' She hissed, taking a step back towards Jonah defensively.
