Kajine continued her focused chant, forcing away the fatigue that was beginning to form in her very being. She sighed gently and clenched her jaw, her energy beginning to work its way through the angel's body. She wasn't sure how long she could keep this up, but she was determined to try her very best to save this innocent girl. |

Kyoko felt like her insides were on fire. The venom was swirling through her blood like a storm, trying to change her. But from what she could tell, someone was trying to help her. As her vision cleared, she saw that is was Kajine who was trying to help. Kyoko felt the pain ease a little, not much, but just a little. Then she gave one loud yelp and lay still, her eyes flickering shut. Of course, Dark hurried up to her.
"Kyoko? Are you ok? Can you hear me?" he asked, urgently. There was no response. He checked Kyoko's pulse. A regular, clear heartbeat. Kyoko might have fallen unconscious, but she was going to wake up fine. Such was the relief that Kyoko was going to be alright Dark found himself giving Kajine a tight hug, but upon realising this he coughed nervously and stood back.

Kajine slumped slightly once she had finished healing Kyoko, panting lightly as her vision began to swim. She felt her cheeks redden when Dark hugged her, giving him a small smile before her vision blacked out and she returned to her natural kitsune form. Male once more, he panted softly in his state of unconsciousness, having used up pretty much every bit of his energy. He was glad Kyoko was going to be alright...but he needed the rest his body was forcing upon him. |

While both Kyoko and Kajine were unconscious, Dark checked Kyoko's pulse again. Satisfying himself that Kyoko's pulse was still fine, he moved over to Kajine and knealt by them. Just to be sure, he checked Kajine's pulse as well. That was fine, so Dark knew that Kajine was alright, if a little drained.
"Thanks, Kajine." Dark said, though he thought the kitsune could not hear him. |

Kyoko opened her eyes. When Vega helped her up she managed a weak smile.
"Thanks...and I think I'm going to be alright." she said, quietly. She folded both of her wings against her back, and she stood up a little straighter, but was shivering a little out of the trauma of the events.
((Sorry for my lack of activity recently, everyone...I was on holiday in Dorset and couldn't get wi-fi.))

Dark was kneeling by Kajine. He still couldn't believe how kind the kitsune had been, especially to Kyoko. Dark was going through all the ideas in his head of how he could possibly ever thank Kajine for what he had done. He would find some way to repay him, he had to. Nobody who was kind to Kyoko went unnoticed by Dark, and he always repaid his debts. Kyoko was still with Vega.

Liam sat by a tree, waiting. Waiting for Kyoko to begin crying, realizing what she's become, for Dark to find him and drown Liam as "payback" for destroying his sister's life. But some feeling, deep down, he felt that somehow, the amber haired vampire had lost. He felt incomplete...like a failure almost. Was it because It was Dark Liam needed revenge on? Or perhaps...the angel hadn't become a vampire at all.
