Kajine remained unconscious for a while before he slowly began to revert back to his natural, nine-tail fox form. His eyes opened slowly as he forced himself up onto his paws, long ears drooping slightly. He was obviously still exhausted, his tongue poking out from between his lips as his tails lay around him on the ground. He was tired, but he couldn't allow himself to rest in the open like this any longer than that.

Dark reacted immediately as Kajine got up, himself standing up quickly. He could tell that Kajine was tired, very much so, from what he had done, do Dark took it upon himself to ensure that Kajine would be ok.
"Is...is there anything I can do to help you?" he asked. Meanwhile, Kyoko ran a finger over her front teeth. No fangs. She sighed in relief. She wasn't a vampire. |

Kajine shook his head, tilting his head slightly. "I need rest is all.." he said softly, offering a smile. He moved to lay back down after a while, his head resting on his paws, seeming ready to drift back into unconsciousness. "But I can't let myself sleep here any more...it's too exposed," he murmured softly, his exhaustion present in his voice.

Kyoko looked at Vega again.
"Really? Awwww, thanks. That's sweet of you to say that." she said, with a soft smile. Dark looked over, seeing that Kyoko was happy, and he himself smiled. Then he looked back at Kajine.
"Well, if you don't need my help at the moment then that's ok...but let me know the minute you need my help. And that goes for anything." Dark said, somewhat quietly. "See, you helped my sister. I can't let that go unrecognised. I feel like I'm in debt to you...and I can tell you now, Kajine, I always repay my debts." |

Kajine smiled and nodded as he allowed himself to relax, but not to go to sleep. "I'm happy I could have been of some use," he replied gently, trying to allow his body to rest without having to truly sleep. It was simply too risky to try to do that, especially if those vampires were still around.

Liam didn't feel any feeling of triumph now...he knew, somehow, that he'd lost this round. Lost it to a vegan vampire, as ridiculous as that sounds. ((Liam believes Dark is vegan, as he never ate Kyoko.)) He decided the only way to find out about Kyoko seemed simple enough. He reappeared back at the clearing where the group was, and stood at the edge of the trees, watching the scene intently. Upon seeing Kyoke rub her finger along her teeth and sighing, Liam stepped out of his hiding place. "Brav-o." He laughed, bowing deeply and straightening himself. "You have saved your petty angel friend from her fate as a reckless monster...well done."

Kajine's ears twitched slightly at the one vampire's voice, a low growl escaping him as he forced himself up to his paws and bared his sharp teeth, obviously not pleased. "Go away.... You lost in your little game," he growled, not allowing himself to collapse again.

Kyoko turned around, saw Liam, and was instantly put on alert. But she was standing with Vega, and Dark with his kitsune friend nearby, so she felt safer. She noticed that Vega had blushed, and Kyoko smiled a little at him. Dark didn't notice...he was too busy glaring at Liam. Dark's fists were bunched and he was shaking in pure rage. It was all he could do to stop himself from charging at Liam there and then. Dark didn't speak...he didn't feel the need to.

"Angry?" Liam asked, not turning his head from the kitsune but let his eyes focus on Dark. He turned, but not to look at the vampire...but at Kyoko. He didn't say anything; there was nothing to say. But his eyes burned so intensely, it was a fairly obvious message that one day he would ruin Kyoko and her brother.

After a few moments Kajine slowly returned to his human male form, straightening himself up despite the fact he was panting softly. "Being tired won't stop me from fighting against you should you hurt either of them," he stated, eyes narrowing as he even took a couple steps forward. "My will is greater than you would think it is."

Kyoko stepped back a little, and immediately Dark ran forward to place himself between Liam and Kyoko. He gave Kyoko a reassuring smile before returning a fierce glare at Liam.
"I don't care how...I'm going to make you suffer." he growled. Kyoko shuddered. |

"I'd like to see you try." Liam retorted, slowly letting his fangs retract. He'd need them later of course, when Dark "made him suffer", but for now, they rendered useless to him.
