Kajine growled and shook his head, moving to launch a fireball aimed towards Liam's face after a few moments. "I meant for you to leave now," he growled, flames sparking around him. |

Liam felt flames engulf his hand, and his jaws opened in a silent scream. He'd somehow managed to stop the flames from moving any further up his arm, but his hand was now raw and bloody, and would obviously be badly scarred. Somewhere in this time period, he'd managed to bl ink.
Liam materialized beside Kanjine, and buried his fangs in the Kitsune's neck, draining a fair amount of blood. The pain of being bitten was enough, but Liam was hungry, and he figured a..."snack" wouldn't hurt. He detached his mouth from Kanjine and walked off, calling over his shoulder, "have fun in hell!"

Kajine yelped as the vampire buried his fangs into his neck, the drained blood causing him to collapse, his vision blurring in and out. He'd already used up almost of his energy healing Kyoko, s the drained blood really took its toll on him. He couldn't heal himself either, only others, so he just kinda lay there, teetering between consciousness and unconsciousness with a soft, rather weak growl.

Liam wandered around a bit, not really knowing what to do. 'Damn, he'd lost the daring contest,' seemed to be his only thought. Then he looked at his hand, and found some running water, and set his charred hand in it, resisting the urge to scream at the feeling of cold water against such a terrible burn. He tore off a piece of his undershirt and wrapped it around his hand.

Dark didn't care about the staring contest with Liam much. In fact he didn't care about it at all, especially seeing as Kajine had been badly hurt. Dark ran over to the kitsune and knealt beside them, a look of panic across his face. He didn't know what he could do...he had no healing magic...but he knew that he would have to do something. Eventually Dark did pretty much the only thing he could have done at the time, and summoned a wall of dark energy around himself and Kajine so that if any other hostile beings came by they would not be able to hurt the wounded kitsune. Dark kept thinking about how else he could help...he would never forgive himself if Kajine could not recover from his injuries.
Kyoko had witnessed this, but stayed close beside Vega out of fear. But she knew something was terribly wrong.

Liam tried to think. What do to now? The only person he'd failed to hurt throughout all this was Dark, and Liam didn't feel that he had enough energy to fight the winged vampire. Even if he did, his hand hurt to bad even just to move it slightly.

This made Vega feel guilty. She didn't know what he used to do. Vega used to be an Assasin. He tried not to think of that. He had the taste of candy hears in his mouth. Sometimes synesthesia could be nice. When Liam bit Kyoko, he had the taste of barf in his mouth. "Kyoko.. You don't know my past. I used to kill..."

Now, most people would have leapt to judge Vega upon hearing what he used to do. But not Kyoko. She looked at Vega, smiled, then hugged him tightly.
"But I've seen who you really are." she whispered. "You're a sweet guy, Vega. You might have taken lives but you're a nice person here and now, and that's what matters to me." |

Kajine didn't stay in his human form for too long, laying on his side in his demon fox form after a few moments. He went form letting out a growl to a soft whimper, his ears drooping. He hadn't really helped anything, only gotten himself hurt and gotten blood drained. He wouldn't be able to do anything for anyone like this...he was pretty much useless at that point...and useless was a bad way to feel...

Kyoko giggled a little, blushing as she looked up at Vega.
"My name tastes like chocolate and waffles?" she asked, gently smiling. "That's really sweet of you to say that, Vega..." Kyoko paused, realised that she had made a bit of a joke, and giggled again, hugging Vega tight.
Meanwhile, Dark was in a state of despair, which was rare for him. The wall of darkness was still set up around himself and Kajine to stop the others from reaching them to harm Kajine more, but Dark still didn't know how to help Kajine. Then he had an idea...perhaps he could use his darkness to help Kajine?
Dark had used his darkness to heal one of Kyoko's minor injuries a few months before. That had only been a minor injury, but if Dark put all of his effort into it then maybe he could help, even a little?
"Here goes nothing..." Dark muttered, forming darkness in his palm and then resting that palm onto Kajine's side. The darkness flowed slowly from the winged vampire to the kitsune, becoming healing energy as it seeped in. Dark concentrated as much as he could.

Kajine closed his eyes when he felt Dark press one of his hands against his side, a single tail giving a weak twitch to show he hadn't died yet. He could feel the energy beginning to seep into him, the bite mark slowly beginning to heal itself. He tried to use his own energy to direct Dark's efforts to where they were needed, mostly in the direction of his heart to help his body produce more blood so he could at least have that fixed. His laws parted as he began to pant softly, one eye reopening to glance up at Dark in a rather thankful manner.

Sakura and Kiba saw Drak helping the kitsune. Then walked and Sakura was summoning the healing power that lay inside her. She closed her eyes. Then suddenly the reopened. They were completly white. White light was flowing out of her eyes and hands. |
