Liam looked perfectly innocently, but his tone was mocking. "So I'm not allowed to eat, is that what you are saying?" The corner of his lips formed into a slight smile, "great logic."

Kyoko had felt the vampire about to bite her. She had looked up at them, fear in her eyes, but rendered speechless. When they were blown away by the fire, Kyoko stumbled forward, and it was Dark who caught her and helped her up.
"Are you alright?!" Dark asked, urgently. Kyoko shakily nodded, having gone rather pale out of fear.
"Y...yes..." she mumbled. She flexed her wings nervously. She had no intention of being a vampire's dinner. Dark glared at the one who had tried to bite his half-sister, then at the one who was covered in blood.
"Now, I might be a vampire as well...but when when you mess with my family then I really get mad..." Dark growled, in a threatening tone. Kyoko was still shivering, obviously scared; she hated to admit it, but she was terrified of vampires (apart from Dark, obviously). Dark knew this.
"Anyone else tries to bite Kyoko...they pay." Dark threatened. "Got it?" Kyoko heard Vega's question and risked turning her back on the vampires to talk to him very briefly.
"Oh, I have a few powers...but now isn't the time to discuss them." she said, politely, which was miraculous considering the circumstances around her.

Liam pushed Sakura off with ease, then stood up to face Dark, frowning slightly, "you're a vampire...why haven't you drained the weakling yet?" His voice was full of distain.

Dark glared at Liam, but his face looked decidedly guilty.
"Because she's my half-sister and for your information, she offered me some of her blood to quell my bloodlust...she is kind, but I can never forgive myself for drinking from her." he said, somewhat quietly. "My half-sister is all I have, and she's a really sweet girl...literally." Kyoko turned and looked at her half-brother. She touched her own bitemarks in her neck and took a step back.
"Dark is the only vampire I like, and the only one I'll ever give my blood to..." she whispered. "I have no intention of being on a vampire's menu, thanks very much." |

Liam glanced at the girl, then back to Dark, then said slowly, "you value...family over blood? You obviously aren't a vampire, then..." he muttered, then suddenly waved his hand, "forget about. I'll raid the hospital tonight. Wanna come?" His eyebrows raised slightly as he asked the question.

Aleksei laughed for a while, shaking his head before he was and a pair of pitch black wings appeared on his back to carry him away. Kajine calmed down slightly and turned to look back at Liam, growling softly as the fire around him continued to burn and shift, his ears flat and tails still lashing behind him. He did not trust this other vampire, not at all. He didn't like him, especially considering he'd been about to attack such a nice girl. |

Dark glared back at Liam, fiercely. Kyoko walked closer and stood nervously behind him, watching Liam fearfully. She didn't want to risk being bitten. She looked around at the other vampire that was nearby as well, then back to Liam.
"Dark?" Kyoko breathed. Dark glanced at her and then back at Liam.
"Not interested." he said, flatly. "Now back off! And if you EVER so much as touch my half-sister again then I WILL kill you...got it?" |

After a bit, Kajine allowed his fire to slowly fade out as he examined his kimono with a from. "This is my favorite kimono, too," he murmured softly. "It's nearly impossible to get blood out of silk," he huffed softly before he lowered his arm. "Nobody has any respect any more..." he said rather sadly as he lifted a hand to run it through his long hair, only to notice a girl hanging off of a roof. He blinked, then shook his head and wandered over to help her down. "You know, spying on people is dangerous," he stated before he moved back over to the group, watching Aleksei as he flew away.
Then he moved over to Kyokoand placed his fingertips on her bite wound. "Would you like help healing that for you?" he asked gently, tilting his head. |

Kyoko stood perfectly still. She shivered a little, obviously still nervous from coming that close to being bitten by a vampire that WASN'T Dark. After a moment, when Dark gave her a reassuring nod, Kyoko nodded at Kajine.
"If you could do that I would be very grateful, thanks." she said, quietly and respectfully, with a smile. Dark nodded again and walked up to Kyoko, laying a hand on her shoulder in a gesture of comfort.
"You ok?" he asked. Kyoko smiled.
"You know me...I'll be fine." she said. "Just so long as I don't end up as a vampire's lunch!" |

Kajine nodded, igniting the tips of his fingers in a soft blue flame and gently running them over the bite wound. He relaxed himself, sighing as he focused his attention on closing up the bite marks. He pulled back once he'd done it, smiling lightly. "There.. The wound is closed and I've kickstarted your body into producing more blood to make up for what you lost. Once you have what you need back, it'll stop making more," he explained gently, smiling lightly. |

Kyoko smiled, nodding politely. She raised a hand to where the bitemarks had been and traced her fingers over where the wound had been. Of course, she found the wound had gone.
"Thanks very much." Kyoko politely said. Dark smiled, giving his sister an affectionate hug before turning to Kajine.
"I really cannot thank you enough. You helped my sister and that means a lot to me." he said. "Really, I don't think I could ever thank you enough." Kyoko wandered away from them a little distance. |

Kajine smiled gently, tilting his head slightly. "It's no trouble, I am happy to help," he replied gently and turned back to Dark with a warm smile in return. "It was no trouble at all. I may be a demon, but Kitsunes are also known as guardian deities for a reason," he told the other with a soft chuckle before he moved to look up at the sky. It was a peaceful night...minus the interruptions. "Your name is Dark, yes?" he said after a moment as he glanced over. "Well, Dark, have you ever taken a few moments to simply...relax and gaze at the sky?" he murmured softly.

((Mmkay, gonna try to bring Liam back in...))
Liam had finished his...meal, his hands and face now soaked in blood. He didn't attempt in getting any of it off, considering he'd probably redirty them soon enough anyway. Almost mindlessly, he found his way back to the group and leaned against the back of a tree, looking at Dark, deep in thought. A vampire who...wouldn't drink blood?

Dark shrugged a little, casually.
"Not recently. I and Kyoko used to watch the clouds go by or stargaze quite a lot but we haven't had the chance to in recent times." he replied. "And you're right. My name's Dark." Kyoko was still standing a little way away from them and was looking around. She was feeling better but was still cautious...she really didn't like vampires, apart from her half-brother, and the experience of being almost bitten by one was a little more than traumatic. Eventually she concluded to herself that no more vampires were about to try and bite her, so she gave a slight sigh and hummed to herself. The tune was 'River of Dreams' by Hayley Westenra. |
