Vega gazed at the orbs. They seemed to clear his mind. Vega thought of a dragon. He pictured it. Black, of course. The color change would be difficult. His form began to flicker, this didn't happen when morphing to a normal animal. Then, a duplicate of a him was pulled out, and the flickering stopped. Vega looked at himself. He didn't seem to be a dragon. The duplicate copied. "What the heck...." "What the heck....." Vega 2 copied. "Shut up!" Vega yelled. "Shut up!" Vega 2 yelled back. Vega tried to draw him back into himself, but instead, more Vegas circled around Kyoko. Vega sighed. The others copied.

Kajine lifted his head when he noticed the copies, letting out a low growl. Since when were shifters, winged or otherwise, able to copy themselves like that? He stood up after a moment, his tails twitching. "Shifters change their appearance. They do not copy themselves," he stated, eyes narrowing. "What are you really?" |

Dark looked at Kajine. He smiled a little.
"Yeah. I'd say our family bond is very special." he said. "You see, Kyoko's mother was killed some time ago...by a vampire, if I remember correctly...and our father took her in and she lived with us. She was a little nervous at first because we were vampires, too, but she got over that fear. We were her family, after all. But she quickly became very firm friends with me in particular because I stopped any other vampires from coming anywhere near her. We've been travelling together for a long time now." Dark happened to glance over to Kyoko, who was now surrounded by copies of Vega. Dark was a little startled at this.
"Are you ok, Kyoko?" he called over. Kyoko looked over. She was grinning, like she was trying to stop herself from laughing.
"I'm fine, Dark. Relax." she said, then turned to the original Vega. "I take it the whole 'copy' thing wasn't intentional? Need some help?"

Vega was frightened by the kitsune. "T-Tell you th-the truth, I-I-I d-don't know." Vega stuttered when he was scared. He could barely get a word out. The Vegas copied him. "I can morph to humans, but I've never done this. And, yes I need a lot of help." Vega said miserably.

Kajine pulled his ears back after a moment, not sure of this supposed shifter. Then he shook himself off and sighed, moving to settle himself down at Dark's side once more. He had never known a shifter to do that, ever. Then he got an idea and grinned rather slyly as he looked up at Dark. "Dark, I told you kitsunes were shape-changers at well, yes?" he asked, tails twitching. "How all kitsunes can change into young girls?" he chuckled softly, curious as to how his female appearance would go down here. |

Dark looked at Kajine for a moment.
"You can change into a girl, too?" he eventually asked. "I don't think you mentioned that part...well, maybe you did and I didn't hear. That wouldn't be the first time." He laughed a little to himself, and glanced over at Kyoko again. She seemed to be ok, even with Vega around, so Dark glanced upwards very briefly and then around, checking for vampires. But from his position, Dark could not see anyone who would try to bite Kyoko, so he relaxed again and looked back to Kajine.
"Sorry about that...just making sure that there aren't any blood-thirsty morons about to bite my sister." he said, somewhat apologetically.

Kajine nodded when asked if he could change into a girl as well,, closing his eyes as he began to change his shape once more. Instead of his hair being gold and fading to orange, it was a soft, rich black in color and reached halfway down dis back. He opened his eyes, which were now an intense shade of blue to look up at Dark almost curiously, an ocean-themed kimono wrapped loosely around him --well, her now-- to show 'her' pale shoulders. The now female Kajine smiled gently, pulling her kimono tighter around herself. "Kitsunes are well known for their art of transformation," she said softly, giggling as she tilted her head. |

Dark was more or less stunned by this. He had known few beings who could change their form in his time, much less someone who could take a form of the opposite gender to their real self. Dark was set into what seemed to be a state of shock momentarily before he recovered his wits and managed to form words.
"Ah...I think 'shocking' would be something of an understatement." he said. "I mean, I've known a very few form-changers in my time..." Dark chuckled to himself, shaking his head a little. Kyoko had noticed what had happened but was not paying much attention, rather paying more attention to Vega.

Meanwhile, Vrga was playing with his copies. He morphed to Kyoko. The copies changed to Kyoko as well. "A little help, Kyoko?" Vegasaid, still Kyoko.

Kajine lifted his hand to inspect the kimono she was wearing, and was pleased to see it was without a blood stain. "I may remain in this form for a while. My other kimono now has blood splattered on it, so I was trying to avoid changing over to that one," she explained with a soft smile. "And in all truthfulness, I never minded changing into a female. It's rather comfortable, seeing as even in my usual human form I am quite feminine anyways," she said, smiling with a slight tilt of her head. |

Dark smiled a little.
"I see." he said. He glanced over to where Kyoko was, and almost choked when he saw that there were several copies of the Angel of Shadows now. Dark was once again left speechless. "Uh...which of you is the real Kyoko?" Kyoko raised her hand. Annoyingly, several of the copies (except the one that was the real Vega) raised their hand as well. The original Kyoko sighed.
"Hold on a minute." she said, accompanied by the voices of the copies. "I think I have an idea..." She wrapped her wings around herself, glowed a little, and then let out a sudden burst of bright light from her form. Dark shielded his eyes, and when he looked again there were only two copies of Kyoko (one of which was Vega). After a moment or two, Dark burst out laughing, something that was rare for him to do. Kyoko turned to Vega.
"You alright now?" she asked.

Kyoko shrugged, with a slight smile.
"All angels can wield the power of light, but I've tried to advance my abilities." she said, modestly. "I am also able to wield the power of darkness...Dark taught me that, since it runs in his family...but I prefer to use the power of light." She looked over at Dark, who had taken notice that Vega had morphed into him, but just rolled his eyes. Kyoko giggled and looked back to Vega.
"Good one!" she said to Vega, grinning. She flexed her wings a little, and the white wing caught the light on its feathers and held the light there. The black wing did not take in any light at all.
((I'm kind of wanting to find a way to endanger Kyoko's life to give Dark something to REALLY be angry about...xD))

She was already out of breath, she was close to blacking out. She forced herself back up and she looked aroun, her black hair fell in her face and she closed her eyes. ((That might be a good one...or maybe Kyoko could be bitten by a vampire? Not just having a 'near-bite experience'...but what if a vampire actually manages to bite her? Then Dark would REALLY get mad. What do you guys think?))
