Shadow watched the fall asleep and backed into the trees to watch over them as they slept. She was what was known as a 'night owl' and preferred to sleep during the day.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Jath saw as it was getting darker. He looked at the infected wolf. She'll be at it again, and there is no way I can hold her off again, and even that time I had lots of other wolves to help... He looked at Wescot. "I'm sorry about your sister, bro, but we gotta book it. She's going to attack us again any moment, and we'll both be dead if we let that happen. We will have to stalk her in the night, careful that she doesn't spot us or find our friends. Then, in the morning, we will heal her from last night some more. But we have to be careful." Jath then headed towards Wescot, offering his shoulder for balance so they could walk up that hill. "Now, we will need to cover my scent, somehow, but you already have mud on you, but I've just got blood on me, and that's no bueno."
((That's not my saving post.. I'll have one better! D:))

Wescot let out a sigh. "Yeah, if there's nothing we can do I'm not ready to sacrifice myself yet." He looked back, and Shasta was already beginning to rise. "There's no time to cover your smell man." He started rubbing his side against Jath, leaving one of Jath's sides brown. "True, get up!" he barked.
Shasta rose to her paws shakily. She let out a low growl, shaking herself off. At night she had seemed to attain a new strengh, as if the events earlier in the day hadn't fazed her at all. She stared in the distance, seeing the group of wolves higher up the hill. She quickly leaped into the water and began to swim to the other side.

True's eyes immediately opened, the sound of a semi distant growl stirring her from her sleep. She groggily looked around, as she had not yet completely regained her usual sense of awareness. "Rain? What are you doing over there?" She asked, the Fae's distant outline coming into view. True got to her feet. She winced, remembering all at once that she had previously injured her back leg, but ignored it and continued forward towards Rain with caution.

Shadow continued to watch until she realized they were getting ready to move,again. She stood up from her sitting position and walked over. "Preparing to leave,I see?",she asked and her ears turned towards the sound of something at the bottom of the hill.

True's attention snapped to Wescot and Jath. "Rain, Shadow, we need to get going, Come on." True said, motioning towards the bottom of the hill with her muzzle as she slowly began walking. She then took a second look down the hill, seeing that Shasta had once again gotten to her feet. About one forth of the way across the hill, she broke into a sprint, covering the ground between Jath, Wescot, and herself fairly quickly. She looked back, hoping that the others were doing the same.

She stood their and flickered her ears growling. " Nothing. " she growled. Seconds later her growl grew louder as she spoke and began to run away. I'm not going any where.... I'll stay here and fight her. It's our territory, and we shouldn't abandon it to an infected wolf... She growled, her voice full of anger, doubting any wine even listened too her.

"We have fought her to the furthest extent that is morally allowed. She is Wescot's sister, after all. We cant seriously wound her or anything." True reminded Rain, her words tinged with the slightest hint of a question as she looked over at Rain, and her ex
pression. True then pressed on, quickly falling into stride with Jath and Wescot.

Wecot barked, "Do whatever you want with Shasta. She's a good wolf, but she's asking to get killed at night." He let out a sigh. "But if you two get yourselves killed just remember we warned you." With that, Wecot began to half run/half hobble up the hill, hearing the snarls of his siter below.

"Alright then..." True said, and with that she turned, quickly half limping, half trotting over to aid Wescot, as he seemed to be having difficulty making his way up the hill alone. She looked straight forward as she trotted alongside Wescot, lost in a sea of thought, as well as concern for Shadow, Rain, and hopefully not Jath as well. "Please follow... Please Follow... Please follow..." True repeated to herself, silently pleading Jath to not take his chances.
