{{We'll start midday, so it's about noon-ish?}} Shasta slept peacefully on some leaves, her side rising and falling slowly. She opened her eyes, and rose to her paws. Stretching and letting out a big yawn, she padded around in circles for a few moments, thinking about what she could do today. She could go hunting, but she didn't know where another herd of elk would be, and the only herd that she knew of roamed too close to her former pack's borders, and she wasn't willing to risk being seen. Her stomach growling, she couldn't imagine going another night hungry. She set off towards the pack's border, and hid in the bushes. She crept out of the bushes, and sniffed the air. Elk had certainly been here, and she wanted to find them. {{Braindead for what to do with Wescot homg. D: I'll think of something. Also, up to you guys whether or not you find Shasta.}}

{{Alright alright. I'll try this stuff. Meh!}} Jath wondered around, trying to find something to hunt. He was still severely wounded from the attack that happened on his pack a few days ago. He was barely able to walk. He caught a small whiff of something, and he got excited. His sense of smell isn't too great, so this was exciting. He followed this scent. It wasn't like any animal Jath had ever hunted before, but it would have to do. He crept along a rock, and climbed on top of it. He caught a glimpse of something fluffy with black ears. It was another wolf, but Jath would eat it, even if it meant eating one of his own kind. He knew he couldn't fight this wolf, it was much too big, and Jath was in poor condition, but he figured if he ambushed it, biting it at the throat... I was a go. Not much longer, Jath, your starvation will end soon. Jath said to himself. He lunged off the rock, towards the other wolf. |

Shasta whipped around and bared her teeth. She recognized the wolf, and guessed he was from her former pack. No. I will not fight this wolf. I have to stop myself. With that, she turned around and started to flee.

Jath missed his ambush. The other wolf started to flee, and Jath took off after it. He began to catch up with this wolf, for he was a former Alpha, and was a good sprinter, even though he was injured. The cuts on his legs started to burn, like fire. He yelped, but kept chasing this wolf. |

True lifted her head, her ears pricked forward as they began picking up the sound of bushes rustling in the distance. "I wonder whats going on over there?" She asked herself, her head quirked to the right as she tried to better make out what the sound was. "Stay where you are True...not worth dying over." She let out a large sigh, as she tried to talk herself out of investigating the mysterious noise. True then got to her feet, and then quickly sat. Her tail's tip flicking in curiosity over the noises. "Anyone there?" True called, curiosity taking over.

Shadow walked along the edge of the pack's territory and ignored the noises around her. She drew her attention to the scent of a rabbit and decided to follow it. Eventually she found the rabbit and pounced on it. Gripping it in her teeth she killed it instantly and then dropped it on the ground and started eating it.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Wescot trotted through the forest, almost prancing, carefree. I could live like this forever. He thought. He heard a yelp and stopped. But of course, it won't last. He growled to himself. Running off in the direction he heard the noise, he collided into Shasta and was knocked back. Shasta let out a snarl. "You!" he growled. "As if life wasn't bad enough, you have to show up. Why are you---" Shasta had already began to run off. "Hey, wait!" He sprinted after her. Why is she running? She doesn't really think I'd hurt her like my fellow pack members did, does she? He thought.
Shasta quickly ran through the bushes. She could hear her inner savage beast snarling at her. One thing is for sure, I will not kill my brother if I can stop it. Even if he is scatterbrained. She thought. She could hear the albino wolf hot on her heels, so instinctively, she whipped around and stopped. Fluffing up her fur, she hoped she could stand him down with her new size.{{Once wolves are infected, they will always have those little savage thoughts. But they only turn savage in the night. So far, they haven't been able to control themselves at night. Yet.}}

{{Back! Sorry guys.}} Jath saw another wolf pop out of the bushes, and joined the other wolf running. No, you wolf, that is my dinner, not yours! Jath thought to himself and sprinted harder. He was nearly at the second wolf's heels, so he decided to just ambush that one instead, as the other wolf had turned around to fight, and Jath wasn't in the mood. he leaped after the second wolf, planned to bite the back of it's neck. |
