I looked up at him. "I live on my own now." Was all I said before I turned and tried to distract myself with the cool rain. It wasn't working.

He frowned. "Cmon gimme a smile!" She said trying to cheer her up. Frowns were not his thing at all. He liked smiles. "I'll walk you to you car and we can talk okay?"

"I don't have a car." She said and stood, pulling her hood up over her head and preparing for the wet trek home.

He caught up to her and put he arm around her shoulder. "Do you trust me? I'll drive you home."

((I might alternate between first and third person. I try for first but sometime's it makes itself third.))

I narrowed my eyes and searched his face for any signs  of a scam. I had trust issues but it seemed like I could trust him. I nodded hesitantly .

((Its all good :D but I'm going to bed D:))

He laughed. "I'm not a creeper, I promise. Cmon I'll give you a ride home." He tugged gently on her shirt sleeve. In the direction of his car.

I sighed and slowly followed him to his car, standing a few feet away and calculating whether or not it was ok to ride with him.

He turned and faced her, water dripping from his bangs onto his shirt. "You can trust me. I promise you." He put his rainjacket over her shoulders, hoping to warm her up a bit and bring a smile to her face.

The edges of my lips lifted just a bit and I pulled his jacket tighter. "Ok. I suppose I can trust you." I said and approached the car.

"Theres that smile I'v been waiting for! And what a pretty smile it is!" He cooed, proud of his accomplishment. He opened the door for her and bowed his head. "After youuuu my fair laaaaady!" He called out and made a goofy face.

My smile brightened and I shook my head, climbing into the car and shaking the rain from my hair. Water droplets sprung everywhere and soaked everything.

Feeling accomplished Ryan shook some drips from his hair and got in the drivers seat. "Wheeeeeeere to pretty ladyy?" He said and winked teasingly.

"Go to the stop sign, make a left, a right, and it'll be the third building on the right." I said. Turning on the radio, I tweaked the button until I found a song I liked then turned my head towards the window to watch the scenery and sing lowly along with the music.

"You've got a really pretty voice." He added as he pulled onto the street she had indicated, though he was dreading her departure. "Thisbuilding right here?" He asked gesturing towards an apartment building

I blushed lightly then squinted through the rain. "Yep." I sighed, nodding. "Here's your coat." I held out the coat and opened the door, placing one foot on the wet pavement and waiting for him to take the coat.

I ran my eyes quickly over the number before shoving it into my back pocket and scurrying through the now pouring rain and stepping inside the chilled hallway. Great. I'd left the AC on again. Sighing, I went about my afternoon routine. Eat dinner, shower, and sleep.

Ryan closed her door and started the car again then tossed the coat into the back seat. He hit the gas and began the long drive to his small quiet house across town

Brilliant white light woke me the next day and I hurried to the curtain. Glancing out side, my heart skipped a beat. Snow! I quickly dressed in a tee shirt and some jeans and ran out side. MY breath curled in silver whisps as I gazed around excitedly.
