Magic yelped and leapt in surprise. Alicia flinched. Poppy's eyes widened and she hissed, but when she saw Alicia's ex
pression, she stepped back. Alicia's eyes turned blood red, the colour they always turned when she was angry. "So you're the one who called me stupid, eh?" she asked. Her fangs began to protrude slightly from her lips. "That, my friend, was one heck of a bad mistake..."

Adele's smile slid off her face. She started backing up, but a tree was in the way. She now was pressed against the tree with a worried look on her face. "Y-Yes... I was the one who called you....stupid...."

Alicia chuckled a little. "Magic, what happened to the last person who called me stupid?" Magic gulped. "They disappeared without a trace..." he whispered. Alicia nodded. "Yeah...they DISAPPEARED, if you get what I mean." she said, with a grin. She took a step forward. But to her surprise Magic darted forward and screamed at the top of his lungs "DON'T KILL THE HUMAN, ALICIA!" Alicia stopped immediately. She glared at her cat and said "Why not, hmmm?" Magic hesitated, gulping nervously before continuing "The, uh....this human isn't worth your efforts! You said you found humans boring! It would be worthless to kill her!" And then he whispered under hisd breath "No offence, by the way..." Alicia pondered this before shrugging and stepping back. "Very well." she said. "I shan't kill you yet. But mark my words, should you ever call me stupid again, I just might snap..."

Adele smiled at the cat and whispered back, 'Thank you'. She looked up at Alicia. "Yes mam I won't call you stupid again. I promise." Adele said this kinda fast, as she was still scared.

Alicia didn't say anything specifically. Instead she hummed a little and for a moment, nobody moved. Then, almost casually, she said "Many other vampires around here, then, do you know?" She wanted to know how many vampires were around. She hadn't any clue why, she just did.

Adele had the lying look in her eyes, but said, "Umm no..." She was still standing by the tree. 

Alicia shrugged. "So you don't know, hmmm?" she asked. Then her eyes turned darker and she said, in a more intimidating tone of voice "Are you sure about that?" She then turned away and looked at the human through the corner of her eye, scanning them for reaction.

Adele stood there. She was looking at the ground. "I-I'm sure." She blinked her eyes a few times, then faked a smile. "I am sure."
