Sethera smiled before standing up, pulling Taylor up with him. "Let's get back to the village before everybody starts worrying about us," he said.

Sethera inclinded his head and glanced at Styx when she rightened herself to her paws. Shaking her head of the sleepiness, her mind instantly connected with Sethera's. He felt her concern and fear and he tried to soothe them as he jumped onto her back.

Turning her head, she used the tip of her muzzle to nudge Sethera's leg. Are you better now, little one? He smiled, nodded, and lightly rubbed a spot on her neck. Styx hummed slightly with pleasure.

Shard flew high over the valley and Taylor looked down to see many dragons still feeling the after-shocks of the attack. Some looked up menacingly at Taylor. Shard noticed this, too. They think this is the humans work. He said sadly. Taylor's face was set in a look of shock. But that's not true! She screamed back. He flinched and seemed to shrug. They don't know that. He said back and she could feel guilty vibes coming from him before he shut down the connection.

Toruko staggered up to Draco. "Evil is at work here." He said and Draco's ancient eyes met his. "It is a powerful force." His deep voice rumbled. "Only the chosen will be able to defeat it." He said it as if it were a prophecy. "Yes, I know. I only hope they can succeed." He said and sat down next to his dragon as they comforted each other.

Styx followed Shard up into the sky. She beat her wings and gained atlitude quickly. She ignored the menacing glares and quietly told Sethera about them. He growled on her back and narrowed his yellow eyes. Let them think what they want to think. It is not our fault and we know that, Sethera said back to Styx.

The black she-dragon shrugged one shoulder. As you say, little one, Styx said, sighing.

Styx landed softly beside Shard and let Sethera dismount. His yellow eyes were clouded by something, it was as if he was deep in thought about something. Without watching where he was going, he tripped over Styx's tail.

"Holy-!" he cried before landing on his side. Well, atleast it brought him out of his pondering. Rolling onto his back, he glanced at Styx; who laughed deep in her throat.

"I'm fine, Taylor," Sethera said before he laughed. His yellow eyes twinkled. "That'll teach me to watch where I'm going." Reaching up, he grabbed her out streatched hand and pulled himself to his feet.

Sethera glanced at Styx, wondering if she would be alright out here. She must've heard his thoughts about that for she gestered with her tail for him to go. He smiled slightly before following Turoku inside his tent. 

Sethera sat down to his left and was careful not to damage anything in Tukoru's tent. He listened with obvious interest and whe he was done, Sethera tilted his head to one side. So many questions ran through his mind, but he couldn't bring himself to say any of them. His throat was dry and the last couple sentances still rang in Sethera's ears. It was extremely close to what Styx had said.

Sethera nodded and followed Talyor out of Tukoru's tent. He noticed that Styx had turned her head to watch the people of the village, her alien crimson eyes alert with curiousity. Turning back to Taylor he asked; "Want to meet back here tomorrow at dawn?"

Sethera flashed a smile before he brought up her knuckles and gently kissed them. "I'll be fine," he promised.

Styx glanced over to them and slowly padded over. Her tail sweeping a few inches from the ground. A thin line of smoke trailed from her nostrals.

Sethera was slightly stunned at the hug. It had come so unexpendantly that when he was about to react, she moved away. Tilting his head, he walked towards his own tent. Styx followed silently after him.
