A war has broken out between several species.  The vampires, werewolves, humans, faeries, witches, shape-shifters, and ghosts.  They're all fighting each other, killing and destroying.  Yeah, not all of them fight and prefer to just act peaceful, but usually those people end up getting killed, sometimes even by their own species due to their lack of will to fight.

They tend to capture another species often, and hold them captive.  Then they use them as a bribe.  Like sometimes they tell the species that the stole a person from that they would not give them the person unless they gave them whatever it was that they needed.  Although they aren't allowed to, sometimes they fall in love with another species and refuse to attack them.  Oddly, they don't get punished for this.

Some people are more than one species and don't know which side to join.  Because of this, people find them worthless and just kill them to save trouble.  If they aren't killed, they either just pick a side or keep switching between sides.  Those who are mixed tend to be more powerful and beautiful/handsome than those who are only one species.

Species

Humans are the most vulnerable target.  They have no powers, and aren't immortal like many of the species that are at war.  Not only that, but since they can be transformed into other species (like if they are bitten by a vampire they'll become a vampire) they are commonly aimed at.  Plus they make a good meal for some species, too.

Ghosts aren't actually as into this war as the rest of the species are.  They're pretty much just wandering around, watching the war and being their lonely self.  It's pretty lonely when most can't see you and you don't belong in this world.  They can make themselves appear to people if they wish to, but they usually don't.  If they could find someone to love then maybe they could be a help.

Vampires have a deep dark hatred for werewolves, and feed off of human blood.  Animal blood is unhealthy for them.  Because of their need for human blood and hatred for werewolves, they tend to kill more of those certain species than any other.  They have enhanced instincts and a pair of fangs to fight with, but no super speed of super powers.  Sunlight burns them, wooden stakes kill them, and silver bullets kill them, too.  Burning them with fire also works.

Shape-shifters can transform into one animal.  They are normally harmless, but can fight when needed.  Sometimes they disguise themselves as a regular animal to sneak into buildings and HQ's that belong to other species, then wreck it.

Faeries often have flawless and beautiful looks, but that doesn't mean they are perfectly flawless.  Although many think they are all kind and sweet, it's not true.  There are many dark faeries who kill.  And they can fight hard, you know.  Faeries have magic, healing powers, and sometimes wings to help them fight and do other various things

Witches mainly use spells for battle.  No, they aren't green creatures with pimples on their noses, they look like regular people except with strong and powerful spells.

5.  I hate Mary-sues.  The second you join with a perfect character or post with your character being all perfect in the post, I'll kick you out.  This time no warning first, because chances are that if you break this rule you probably haven't even read my rules at all, or just plan on having a perfect character and will make your character as perfect as the limit can go. :/

6. Violence and romance is HIGHLY encouraged. ;D  But do not do inappropriate romances or I will report you.

7. Yes, you may have pets, but only if you ask or you are my friend. D:<

8. Please read my bio and at least get to know my character a bit.  I don't know why, but it just upsets me a little when people don't read it. ;c

9. Please ask the owner of the character you are making your character crush on before crushing on them.  Some people may not like it. :P  And just in case you were wondering, I'm not one of those people who don't like it when people on their characters, so you can crush on mine. ;D

10. Faeries and fairies are two different things. :P  Faeries tend to be flawless, beautiful, human-sized, magical with healing powers, often, but not always, have wings, and don't act like fairies.  They're like enchanted humans.  Fairies are tiny magical creatures who are like mini versions of faeries, but less human and tend to be very sweet and kind while faeries can have whatever humans can have (or at least most) and more. ;D

Species/Side- She's both a faerie and vampire.  She's more faerie than vampire, though.  She has the beautiful and flawless looks of a faerie, but is a bit pale and half-dead due to her vampire traits.  She can survive for months without blood if she feeds on berries and fruits instead (or whatever faeries eat :P), but once in a while will have the urge to drink blood.  Unlike most vampires, it's very easy for her to fight back the urge to bite someone (unless it's been months of only feeding on berries).  She doesn't burn in the sun due to her faerie traits, and has both her faerie and vampire powers/attacks.  She looks more like a faerie than vampire, and almost no one would be able to tell that she was a vampire unless she showed them her fangs.  I know this is random, but post, 'cookies and milk= <3' so I know you are reading my bio. xD  She's on both sides.  Gosh, I feel like some of this stuff belongs in her looks section. o_o;

He can be a bit clingy at times and can often cause problems for his master, but his adorable personality can naturally make people forgive him. Being immortal, he's a lot older than he looks and acts. Also, he's got a dark, almost separate personality where he turns into a cold-hearted killer. The switch can be hinted by his change in eye color. His usually light grey eyes will turn an icy blue.
Species/Side // It's hard to tell exactly what Meldon is. The most intelligent guess would that he's the offspring of a shape shifter or werewolf that mated with a demon powerful enough to cross over into this world. Therefore, he doesn't truly have a side that he "supports." He'll support whoever he imprints on.

Personality // A battle-happy warrior. He's over-confident (but not without reason) and fights for sport more than bloodshed. An honorable man, he doesn't kill in his prey and will not hurt an unarmed opponent. He can get a little "wild" on the battlefield.
Species/Side // Vampire. A purebred vampire of the most ancient and pure line. However, he does not fight completely for the vampires. He's a mercenary and will sell himself off to the side that pays him the most or shows the most promise for prophet. However, he does seem to have a soft-spot for werewolves. (Explained in history.)
History // Abel was born into royalty. His family is ancient and completely pure, holding a high sense of pride and a deep hatred of werewolves. However, Abel was always the rebellious type, even going so far as to befriend a werewolf early in life. When his father found out, he was disowned and his friend "disappeared". For several decades, Abel became a "vampire hunter," killing any vampire he laid eyes on. After a while, he became bored with that and became the apprentice of a blacksmith, where he made his sword and battle claws and was trained by the old man in many ways, making him into the man he became. Shunned by his race and hated by most others, he became a mercenary. Most people believe these kind of warriors are the lowest of the low and that fits him just fine.
