"What job?" Sai asked, sitting on his knees on the hard seat. "My mother used to work at Beuaxbatons, but my father has no idea either of us are wizrds. He believes I am going to an American boarding school with my american friend, Keenan-shi." He coughed slightly, then added. "It is nice to meet, Cori-san. Too bad most of wanted house hates Gryffindor. Ach, friends before house, no?" He sighed, brushing his shagy hair away from his face. "What are last names?" Lin asked, looking to both of the girls. "Close in sorting ceremony?"

((Haha, I can barely understand him x3 ♥)) "Uh, I'm not sure..." Cori said sheepishly, looking at Rose, who was staring out the window. " I just know he works pretty close to the Minister. We have dinner parties a lot at our wizard house." She was having a bit of trouble deciphering Sai's "good grammar", but smiled when he called her a friend. Her father had always told her to make as many friends as possible, and she was on the way. "Oh, my last name is Thatch. Corrine Amille Thatch." It was always a pleasure to tell people her full name, knowing that her initials were C.A.T. What made that fact even ritcher was that her parent's hadn't realized that until she had pointed it out when she was three.

"Ah. Not close. Lin way far away from Thatch." He sighed, playing with the sleeve on his blac sweatshirt. "Are you from London?" Lin asked, pulling a ring inb the shape of a snake on and off his finger, until he dropped it to the carpeted floor, making a dull thud. He looked up as a witch with a large candy cart rolled by, and he said, "I want all." and handed over a large stack of what looked like galleons, if not for the square hole through the center of each one. The witch, although slightly surprised, handed over a pile of candy, and Saikan pored over it, picking up a pack of every flavour beans. "What are 'Jee-lay Bhans?'" Sai said, struggling with the new words. "Do they taste good?" He asked, not waiting for an answer before pouring half the bax into his mouth, then immediatly spewing them everyhwere. "Not the same as jelly. Much, much woarse." Sai said, wiping his tounge on his sleeve. "How you eat this?"

Corrine watched as Sai took one of everything, and she ordered a box of every flavoured beans, a chocolate frog, and some pumpkin pasties. Trying to stop Sai before he ate as many of the every flavour beans as he could, she couldn't help but giggle when he spat them out. "Sai-san, some of them taste bad. You have to eat half of them, then you'll know if that flavour tastes good. If we get placed in the same house, save a seat for me next to you." She smiled as sweetly as she could, popping a pumpkin pasty in her mouth and enjoying the flavour of Halloween. She was used to wizarding candy by know, and knew which flavours of the Bertie Bott's every flavour beans she like, and while she chewed her pasty, she sorted through her boxt, putting aside the ones such as earwax, vomit, and gras.s.

Sai coughed and nodded, staring uneasily at the box of every flavour beans. "I do not think I can trust them." He said seriously, picking up a box. "How can you have a frog made of chocolate, Cori-san?" Sai sounded puzzled, then started stacking boxes of chocolate frogs, sighing. "Candy in London is strange. In Japan, all the candy is supposed to taste good." Lin inspected a cauldron cake, dipping a forfinger in the frosting. "What is this?" He asked, holding it out to the girl. "And I will, but I doubt it strongly."

Alex stared at the girl. She had a Slytherin necklace? That meant she was a pureblood and probably hated those of muggle decent. He shifted uncomfortably. Although both his parents had gone to Hogwarts, his mother had been born with muggle blood, making him a Half-blood. Half, but not pure. His nervous thoughts were interupted by a witch pushing a candy cart. "Anything from the Trolley, Dears?" she asked. He quickly pulled out some galleons and ordered a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and several Chocolate Frogs. "Want anything?" he asked the other two. "My treat." Maybe if he showed them he wasn't such a bad guy, maybe they wouldn't hate him. Jess, who had been watching the girl play with her necklace, just grunted and turned his head to look out the window again.

"It's cauldron cake." Cori managed to say through her full mouth, covering her lips so Sai-san and the other girl wouldn't have to see her food. Re-wrapping the other pumpkin pasties, Cori began popping the good beans into her mouth. "The candy here does taste good, but the beans are part of a surprise, and you can prank other peop- Icky, that's not coconut." Corrine frowned and spat out the earwax bean, eating a butter rum one to wash away the flavour. "But take pumpkin pasties, for example. They're very yummy, and there's no surprise ick."

"Ah, I no longer trust english candy." Sai sighed, pulling out a large box of pocky and a sketch book, turning to Cori with a stick of Pocky sticking out of the side of his mouth and proceeded to sketch Cori quite skillfully, albeit with her cheeks full of food. While he worked, he ate, and he finsihed the box of pocky within starting her hair, and pulled out a tube full of marble chocolates and hi-chew. "Oh, I sorry. Want some?" He offered the star-brust like candy to Cori, finishing his sketch of her looking at him with her hand over her mouth. Sai ate constantly, which bugged his parents the most. You could never get him to stop, and he would eat whatever was on hand, during clas.s and almost everyhting he did. It was a wonder he was as skinny as he was but that's just the way he is. Munching on marble chocolates, he turned and started on Kylie, capturing every detail, from each strand of hair to every eyelash. "I will do better one after sorting, Cori-san." He promised with a slight smile.

((I was left on page... 4? I skimmed/read, though, so I think I'm caught up. Now, who shall the little Genran werewolf sit next to?)) Westley was late, very late. He was swearing in German the whole way through each corridor, through every staition as he p*censored*ed each train. He ran full pace into the magical barrier and did not stop. If only his mother had been there when he got the letter, when he boarded the plane to France, and again to England. His English was still shaky as far as his grammer went, and his spelling was terrable. But, all things considered, he spoke quite clearly with an undistingused acsent. He nearly forgot about his trolly as he raced closer to the train, walking to one of the large *censored*istants. He growled at them, almost quite litterally, to hurry with his things. He thought it would be cruel to take his only pet on such a long journy without any fling time, so he had left him behind, unknowing that it was already making the long journy to Hogwarts in the air. Once his baggage was equiped, he boarded the train just as it let out its finnal warning wistle. His father, of course, hadn't come. No, he had only hit Westley on the head and told him to get into the power house- slytherin. Just to get back at him, Wes vowed to himself he would not. He was filled with hatred from his father, and blamed him especially for his mother's disapearance and the mysterious murder of one of his best friends in Durmstrang. Once the school found out Westley carried the werewolf gene, he was kicked out mid- term. Wes applied to Hogwarts, who held nothing against him. It was a pleasant change, one Westley looked forward to. Here he could start anew, without predgudace. So what if he was a few months older than most other first- years? He would be able to make friends, wouldn't he? His stomach flopped at the thought, and Wes's mind raced until he was sick. He walked past the first few compartment cars, ignoring the ones full of students or the ones giving him odd glares, as if they could sence what he was. He supposed the idea wasn't impossable, especially for an animagus, other werewolves, or somebody who could sence auras. But, he wasn't sure if he could really do it. He continued on, pretending not to notice. His right eye was covered his with his black, silk hair that usually touched his wool, thick Durmstrang coat. There was something about it he loved, as if it was a link to his past so he would never forget who or what he was. As Westley continued down the compartments, he noticed onces that where almost empty, probably filled with other first- years. Though there had been no 'houses' in Dermstrang, many of these students seemed to already know where they wanted to be. Poor Westley didn't even remember the names of all of them. The one that stuck in his brain was Slytherin- all of them filled with hate for everybody, the same amout Wes hated his father for. Maybe the bird one, the blue, that was quick- thinking. Maybe that would be the house for him. The lion, brave? Unlikely. Wes never revealed what he really was to anybody, especially since this offered him a new start. They yellow badger? Patient? Oh, no, this wasn't Westley at all. He was rash and deffencive, even if he would never admit it to himself especially. He walked slower now, cautious. Anybody that gave him an un welcoming look was out. He wasn't going to spend the entire ride with somebody who was so taken with first impressions. Hmm... Who should he sit with?

Alex looked up from his box of Bertie Bott's every flavor beans to notice another kid walking down the train. Odd. He didn't look British. Still, there were only three people in the compartment, and there was plenty of room next to Alex so he waved to the boy, smiling at him and hoping he'd join him. Sitting alone with the Slytherin kids was starting to scare him.

Randie just put away the necklace hiding the medalion under her shirt so all you could see was the chain. She didn't eat candy often and wasn't very sure she wanted any.Randie didn't like mudbloods and wasn't fond of half-bloods either but managed to deal with them... - Taryn sat ahppily in her own seat alone. She dropped teh medalion and didn't bother to cover it as her sister did.She found pride in favoring Gryffindoor above the others.

((Wes should sit with Sai and Kylie and Cori! :D)) Cori sat, smiling at the two that she had befriended in the train compartment, licking the remains off of a chocolate frog. Rose meowed briskly as a boy pas.sed by their room, calico fur puffed up to her tail. "Aw, did the boy startle you Rosie?" She asked, scratching her cat's head until she calmed down. Though Rose seemed a bit wary, Corrine dot up and held up a finger to Sai and Kylie. "Just a second." She slid open the door, and followed the boy, who didn't seem to have a pattern to where he was going. "'Scuse me." She called out after him, hastening her step until she caught up with him. "My name's Corrine Thatch, but you should call me Cori. Would 'ya like to sit with me and my friends? There's an extra spot and we have plenty of things from the trolley to snack on." It had been Cori's mission to make as many friends possible, as she rethought what her father told her once more. Another face meant another friend.

Something caught Westley's eye. Fearing for the worst. He turned cautiously, before seeing it was just another boy waving to him, judging by his height, a first year. He gave a wan smile and opened th door. He shuffled for a seccond, wondering if he should ask. Ah, well, he decided he wasn't going to risk rejection, especially when he'd practically been invited. He smiled more, careful to keep his mouth closed so he wouldn't reaveal sharp canine teeth. He took the empty seat next to the boy who had waved to him, breifly wondering what they all thought of him wearing his winter Durmstrang coat in early automn. He turned to the others and said slowly, in the best English he could muster, "I'm Westley Alexander." Ah, well, that didn't come out right. He wished he could swallow the words back, but shrugged lightly. There was no taking it back as much as he wished to do so. This would be an informal introduction, but he may never see these students again. What was the harm in being blunt or himself? He flicked his head to one side, as if his hair would leave his eyes alone. This was a pathetic attempt, and he went on. The others seemed to be English, or at least from another country in Western Europe. Since Germany was a land- locked country, he'd never seen so much water or greenery, and the people had darker tints of skin. (Westley seemed to be an acseption. Scars covered his body from fights with his father, and his lunar transformations drained much of his energy and cells. He was pale for a German, but it was probably also do to his mother's English blood now that he thought about it. Where had she gone...?) It was fasinating to him- the train, the people, the language, ect. It was all so different, a change so wonderful and perfectly timed for him. He would have to make this a great year, as far away from the Slytherin house as he could. ((He'll sit with Alex. He seems lonely and surrounded. XD ))

(( I'll say XD )) Alex's grinned widely at the boy's name name. Now he really was sure Westley wasn't British. Judging from his accent, German. Well, Alex wasn't picky about his friends so it didn't matter. "My names Alex Gunner." he said. "the Alex part is short for Alexander so we practically have the same name!" He laughed a bit at this. He was trying to lighten the mood. Alex stared at Westley's coat. "Are you a transfer from Durmstrang?" he asked. Jess glanced once at the newcomer, rolled his eyes, and returned his gaze to the window. He wanted to strangle Alex. Why did the guy have to invite another person. Not to mention there was something off about this guy and it wasn't just the accent or coat.

((AK! Stupid late posts. You did post first, so I should change mine, but Alex waved to him and I don't really wanna change that. *is torn* MAybe I'll have a stroke of genius and make up a compromise that doesn't make Wes look too silly.)) "Erm..." Westley said, a little unsure. "Yeah, I got in a duel in the halls one night and we where all expelled. I'm lucky Hogwarts tooks me in." He smiled, glad that Alex didn't seem fased by what he was. He hoped the lie was convinsing enough. After all, it was half- true. When his werewolf father killed his friend, Westley was blamed for it. Once one kid said 'werewolf' as an insult, people began to think and eventually caught on to why Westley was sick so often. He was the only student expelled when he whipped out a wand and blasted a tormentor across a quiet hall outside a teacher's office. It wasn't his fault he could be so rash. ((fail.))
