Randie tensed.Not another guy...This one wans't only strangely german...something else was off about him to her.She ignored it though and just went to staring blankly at her medallion.

Cori sat, smiling at the two that she had befriended in the train compartment, licking the remains off of a chocolate frog. Rose meowed briskly as a boy pas.sed by their room, calico fur puffed up to her tail. "Aw, did the boy startle you Rosie?" She asked, scratching her cat's head until she calmed down. Though Rose seemed a bit wary, Corrine dot up and held up a finger to Sai and Kylie. "Just a second." She slid open the door, and followed the boy, who didn't seem to have a pattern to where he was going, until, that is, a boy waved at him. The mysterious boy entered that compartment, one which Cori watched from a distance silently.

It seemed that the boy that had waved to the stranger felt increasingly uncomfortable as they talked, and Cori walked by briefly and saw the reason why. Slytherins. Or what she could expect to become Slytherins, including the boy she had bumped into earlier. They had their detatched-from-emotions look on their faces and looked on the new boy as if he was a vomit-flavoured Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Bean. She rapped her knuckles on the door a couple of times, then looked pleadingly down at the uncomfortable boy to play along. She hoped he got the message as she opened the door.

"There you are! We've been searching all the compartments for you." Cori smiled as convincingly as she could pulling the boy up by the hand, then turning to the stranger she'd followed down there. "Who's this? No matter, you should come too. Our friends are waiting in the other compartment. C'mon, let's go!" Her eyes went to the boy who seemed unsettled by the Slytherins, trying to get her point across once more; she wanted to rescue them from the snooty pure-bloods that thought themselves superior.

"Man, that's gotta be tough." Alex said, to Westley. He had bought it, sort-of. He knew the boy was hiding something but he wasn't going to pry. Everyone had their secrets and it was their right to keep them. For that sake, Alex just played along.

He looked up at the sound of someone tapping at the window. When the girl came in, acting like she knew them, he was a bit surprised but quickly figured it out. He stood up quickly. "Right, sorry!" he said with a laugh, he grabbed Westley by the shoulder and half-dragged him out of there, eager to get out. He closed the door behind him once they got out. "Thank you so much!" he said to Cori with a relieved sigh. "I thought those two were going to eat me alive!"

Jess huffed, still looking out the window. "Good riddings..." he muttered.  

Cori smiled and sighed in relief that he understood her silent plea to him, pointing to show the way they were going. "I know the feeling. It's like, just because one of my parents is a muggle doesn't mean that I'm some ignotant, awful-at-magic wizard. Anyways, I'm Corrine Thatch, but I'd much prefer being called Cori. In the compartment are Sai, the Japanese boy surrounded in treats, and Kylie, but she hasn't spoken much. Who are you two?" She asked curiously, looking at the compartment number and counting down how far the one she'd be sitting in was. They'd have enough of a way for them to introduce themselves. Thank heavens.

Randie saw her kitty and beckond him up onto her lap.The cat imediately leapt onto her lap."good boy,Snake," she murmered to the Scar'd cat.She was happy they were gone. Snake wouldn't come around if mudbloods or halfboods were around.Randie stroked the bob tailed cat between the ears.

((lol, I LOVE it, winter. Nice save, literally! And I thought they could fit six, escesially since they're only 11-ish, still growing. XD ))

Westley's head didn't process quite what was happening as his shoulder was grabbed and pulled out. The young woman had spoken so quickly, Wes only got a few of her words, as the others scrambled and shuffled out of the room. He followed, not quite sure he had a choice. Besides, the other emotionless beings seemed darker than he was. He was glad he wouldn't be left alone with them, and also thanked the young woman, not quite as greatful as Alex. "Aye, thanks."

He smiled, deciding that this atmosphere was much warmer than the one he had just been rescued from, and it was pleasant. More importantly, it was easy. He relaxed his shoulders and shoved his long, scared hands into the pockets of the winter coat, glad for its familiar warmth. Soon he'd have to slipp out of his street clothes and replace them with Hogwarts attire- a block robe and the black and white scarf that would soon change colors for him. But, for now, he would be calm and friendly as he could muster. He couldn't ruin his chances with this school, too. Besides, he liked these two so far.

"Westley Kaos," he said to Cori as she adressed him, still smiling. Apparently in England you only needed your first and last name, as opposed to your first and seccond that one usually used when introducing themselves in Germany. Just another little thing he'd have to get used to.

Alex laughed. "I knooow! I accidentally fell into that compartment, then accidentally invited another one in!" He laughed at his stupidity. "I must be like a Slytherin magnet or something! Thankfully third time's the charm cuz that's when I got him," he said, patting Westley on the back. "Oh, I'm Alex Gunner, by the way!" he said after a few moments. He was used to only introducing himself once so he had sort of forgotten. 

He sighed lightly. He enjoyed being up and walking again, especially after that stressful episode. At first he thought today would be hell. It started out with his parents having to leave early and not being able to see him off, continued with the argument over Chess, and continued still with being stuck with Slytherins. He was glad everything was finally going the right way. Hopefully his new luck would continue with the sorting ceremony. 

Suddenly he realized something and slapped his hand to his forehead. "Oh, hell!" he exclaimed. "I forgot my candy back in the compartment!" He really couldn't go back and get it. The Slytherins were scary enough without their shock of seeing him return. The Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans he could live without but today was going to be the day he was finally going to eat one of those Chocolate Frogs! They always seemed to get away from him. He sighed, hoping this wasn't a sign.

((*sighs*i shall amke randie retriev the chocolate frogs and give them to alex.))

Randie noticed taht the boy...what was his anem again?oh yes Alex.She coudln't bear to look at it and decided to take it to him.Though this was a suprise even for her as to why sh'd bring something to someone.After asking a bit she found where his compartment was and opend it with a bag holding his candy"you forgot this." she said emotionlessly.she wasn't amused taht she ahd to ask about 4-5 people before she found him.

Alex stared up at the Slytherin girl from before. A to-be Slytherin... actually did him a favor...? What?! He tried to surpress the shocked look on his face before taking them from her. "Umm, thanks," he said nervously. "Thank you." He really wasn't sure how to respond.

Jess smirked as the compartment door closed after the girl left. "Alone at last." he said with a content sigh. He kicked his feet back into Alex's formed spot and sighed contently again. He noticed the girl had still left Alex's Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. He grabbed them and observed them quietly for a moment. He picked one out and popped it into his mouth, spitting it out a second later. He didn't know what it was, but it tasted nasty. "Ugh..." he muttered, setting the box down beside him.

Katherine sat in her booth alone, staring out the window. The scenery seemed to move in slow-motion to her and she let herself have a small smile as she watched the green fields and forests go by. She was already dressed in her robes and a half-read book sat beside her, a blue silk ribbon marking her page.
