Alraeus let out a soft growl as he paced through the castle, his faithful dog at his heels. She pricked her floppy ears forward, cocking her head with a soft whine. He paused, turning around to kneel down and pet her, sighing  softly. "Grace, why is it taking so long for them to find her?" he asked. In response, Grace simply cocked her head.

"Oh well...for the moment, let us go enjoy the surroundings," he said as he stood up. Grace let otu a soft bark and ran ahead, heading outside. Alraeus was close at her heels, emerging into the fresh air. The dog barked and ran up to him, pouncing on him and knocking him over. He laughed, though it quickly drifted into silence. He looked up into Grace's ice blue eyes, tilting his head. "Do you think they'll ever find her, Grace..." he asked, stroking his dog's head.

Meili could see the prince, but he couldn't see her. She let out a soft growl and jumped into one of the nearby trees, crouching on a branch. She observed from afar, making sure that he was paying complete attention to his little pet.

Then, one of her friends let out a howl. It was somewhat her pet, but not exactly. It was a black male wolf that had striking green eyes. She called him Lone, because he didn't have a pack. He was like her in some aspects. She turned around and looked off into the distance. All that Lone was doing was alerting Meili of his presence. She let out her signature howl, not something wise to do, since the vampires could track her from her howl alone.

Alraeaus sat up, Grace jumping to her paws with a soft growl. The vampire prince was soon on his feet, his eeys narrowed as he moved towards the howls, tilting his head. "Who's there?" he demanded, his voice loud. "Who dares to invade vampire territory?" he growled, looking around.

((FAIL. ;c))

The call of her pursuers rang in her acute ears.  The thump of her own feet against the stone of the narrow alleyways pushed her foward; as did the arrows that shot by her head.  One job was just completed...and she would expect her bounty delivered to her by her wolf companion, whom she never gave a name to.  She was to be captured and hanged for her sins against the crown... ironic though.  For the crown was the one who hired her to end a betraying noble of the Yurna family.  She twisted by the sleek turns, and jumped to the side as an arrow whizzed by her left cheek; failing to slow her pace.  With a silent sigh, she crouched her human form's legs, jumping to the air, and gripping a building's low outcrop.  She heaved herself up the fixture, her quick fingers helping her clamber of the stone of dark grey.  With a graceful twirl, she landed atop the shinles of a high rooftop.  The snarls of the knights in which she was chased echoing far below.  her lips curled into a wicked smile as her feet clicked on the shingles of the red home.  Across a wire she flew, soaring from rooftop to rooftop until she came to the city's walls.  Despite the guard's efforts, she would not be grabbed...and she crouched and flew off the high wall; plumeting to the ground at an unimaginable amount of speed.  At the last moment, she curled her limbs, and tumbled on the round unscathed.  She halted for a moment before she picked up the noise of the guards once more...and she teased them... with a smile she took off to the towering trees...
She manuevered through the dense brush.  her dark strands of straight locks flying behind her as she shot across the earthen floor.  Flying past fallen branches and overtop large stones... like a silent phantom in the forest of secrets.  Her breath escaped her in easy and well kept breaths, the folds of her garments allowing easy movement, but flowed gracefully in the gentle breeze.  The brisk wind nipped at her revealed skin; as her dark venom like green eyes remained transfixed on the path in front of her.  With a quick and agile movement, she reared off the path, and through the thorny thickets of the tightened undergrowth, the vines failing to hold her back as she continued her run.  her eyes narrowed as she quickened her pace, running.  Running for what seemed like days...until she came to an abrupt halt.  She stalked foward, her hair and the fabric of her cloak falling softly around her.  And there...between a collection of trees...was her home.  She reached into her folds, withdrawing a blade dyed crimson; the ill scent of rust rolling into her nostrils.  She threw the blade to the ground beside her home as she krept to the porch. 

She was Zre.  And she is...the Grim.

Jason nodded his head slowly as he listened to the tragety involving his prince's runaway bride.  His deep black eyes glaring into the table in which he sat as his father and several other nobles spoke of the tale.  Could have brought peace.  But the mutt fled. he growled silently to himself...can never trust a dog. he continued in his own mind as he dug his fingernails into the wood.  His father watched him.  The girl would be found.  Hopefully...

And he believed he knew just the girl who could do it...although...she isn't one to trust; and he debated whether her own nation already has her searching.

Alraeus paused, looking around at the voice. "Meili..." he murmured, moving towards the trees, searching for her snow-white fur. Upon finding a spot of white among  the greens and browns of the forest, he moved closer, race at his heels.

"Meili, come out," he aid. Grace barked, moving even closer, her ice b;ue, almost whie-looking, eyes focused on the white spot. She growled softly, ready to leap into action at any time.

((hmm, easier to find Meili then I thought, lols xD post coming))

"Oh why of course, I would just let you catch me without a fight," Meili said sarcastically. She jumped from her tree to the tround and circled Alraeus like indians circling a group of wagons. "So, you threatened to declare war, huh? Still won't bring me back. The werewolves would win." She grabbed her shredded clothes in her mouth and shook them slightly. They weren't too ripped, so she would hang onto them.

She let out a small whistle and Lone came to her aid. Lone came up to Alraeus and growled lightly at Grace. Meili slipped into the trees and changed back into her normal form quickly. She slipped on her clothes and slipped back out. She had done that in under thirty seconds, a new personal record. Her white hair hung around her arms like vines, snow white vines. "Thought I'd take it easy on you by giving you the advantage."

Jason sighed in boredom, slamming his face against the table when he heard the growl of two...dogs?  No...not werewolf dogs...but real dogs...or wolves. Or what ever they're called.  With a cock of his head he disappeared out of the meeting un-noticed((cant spell)) and crept through the bushes, standing on a tree limb he could reach just in time to see Meili and Alraeus.  His eyes widened...and secretly he hoped Meili would be caught by her fiance.  Then The Grim wouldn't need to be called...if his nation would allow him to ask her in the first place.

Jason watched with keen interest and listened the the conversation in which was being spoken...he agreed with Alraeus about wolves being selfish, and truthfully it made him sick to his stomach that the prince would dare marry a mutt such as that...bold and selfish.  Pathetic and weak.  Might as well be locked in a dungeon somewhere, and not even the rats would notice.  He knew he could get in trouble for snooping above the wall, but frankly he didnt care.  He wanted to know how this would end.

Meili got mad. Very mad. "I'm not selfish!" She lunged at him and hit him square in the chest with her fist. "I just don't feel like merrying a bloodsucker like you. You're too..." She couldn't think of the words. She was beginning to fall into that sort of spell that circled him. It was almost like a sickness. Love sickness. He was attractive and all, but he just didn't appeal to her, unless she stayed around him for too long. Then, the sort of love spell that circled Rae would kick in.
